When this was Hobson Eyes it was a wonderful local business with a great staff. Now it is a cattle call, conveyer belt eye clinic where upselling is the model and customer service is a thing of the past. Try a local eye doctor without corporate P&Ls driving their culture.

The service since Dr. Tasman changed to MyEyeDr. is so bad that it borders on comical. I have to call numerous times to request a simple task and now my insurance has called twice for an authorization form to be completed before the pharmacy will fill my eye drops. I think that its time to switch to a eye specialist with a staff that takes prides in customer service and getting the job done right the first time, every time.

The staff and doctors are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The front desk has always been very good at helping me find the best time and dates for my appointments. Never a bad experience, would recommend to anyone. Plus they are open Saturdays super sweet for me.

Great doctors and great staff! Im taking a medication and it affects the eyes. I didnt even remember to ask for an exam until the nurse reminded me just by looking at my medication list! Saved my sight. Again, everyone is awesome and I would definitely recommend them

This is the second year my wife and I have had our eyes examined here. Both visits have been with the same doctor and, if you have the opportunity, set your appointment with Dr. Ryan Tieu and his tech Alex. They are both fantastic!! Alex does all the preliminary tests and exams. He has so much experience that it’s all done in such a short time. And he will keep you smiling too! You can tell that he really enjoys his work. He can answer all of your questions and put you completely at ease. When Dr Ryan comes in, Alex completely fills him in on all of his results and Dr Ryan completes the remainder of the testing, explaining everything to you as he goes. He’s very friendly, thorough and extremely professional. Between them, you simply have an enjoyable time. We can’t imagine going to anyone else!! Highly recommend them!

Doctor was outstanding. Sales was not. I had the last appointment of the day and made a choice to just change my lenses. This was at 7pm. After thinking overnight, I decided that I would wait until January so I could get new frames also. Called at 9am and was told lenses were already in process. That is 14 hours after my appointment and over night! Was told I could not cancel and my only choice was a credit to my account. Nothing happens that fast. I also find it hard to believe that I am the only one that has ever asked for a change. Staff was not helpful. Also added insurance without asking me. I will take responsibility for my original choice but obviously customer satisfaction and care is sadly missing. I will finish my current business with them and never go back again.

Ive been seeing Dr. Tasman since 1991. The staff are great, I love everyone at this office. Once My Eye Dr took over, the quality went downhill. I went in today to pick up my glasses that were lost last week... only to find I got the floor frames (stem was still sticky so clearly not cleaned, also no disclosure, consent, or discount offered). They dont disclose the subpar replacements for things like the Crizal antiglare lenses, though they certainly still charge Crizal pricing. They had patients packed in here beyond capacity, with no protection for the person at the front door check in. McDonalds has plexiglass for drive through crew but you guys cant put up a bit of plexi for your front desk staff?? Come on. Its one thing to not care about your patients, but to be that careless with your staff says a great deal about your business.

Took my daughter to an appointment and the doctor was great but the rest of the staff is awful!!!!!!!She needed a class to show her how to use her contacts, I called to schedule 2x and waited a week before calling them back because they never called me back.... same thing happened to my sister when she was trying to schedule an appointment for her son. Great doctors but they need better customer service and they need to call patients back when they say they will!!!!!!

I have a lot of eye issues but dont want it to slow me down. As soon as I walked in the door the front desk was super professional and kind. They brought me back extremely fast and the ladies were so kind. It made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. The doctor was amazing and thorough. I felt like the doctor cared about my issues and wanted to help. After that I went to pick out glasses and it was the same thing they were knowledgeable. She didnt try to push me in to anything and was very patient with me. She also helped me pick out a pair of sunglasses for me to wear on my motorcycle. I usually dont leave reviews but this was the best experience I have ever had at a eye dr. I highly recommend going here. I will definitely be back.

If i could give zero star rating I would. They first ordered the wrong prescription and wrong frames and would not give me my own prescription. 4 weeks later still no glasses then wants me to pay fees and a 25 dollar warranty in yet i have NEVER needed to buy a warranty for glasses because every eye doctor place I have been already includes it. I am beyond mad and I suffer from severe migraines and eye pain without my glasses. I have been going through this for 4 weeks. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. THEY ARE SELFISH, GREEDY, DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Doctors are super nice.But at billing, they keep on finding new charges that were not disclosed before. After I complained about that, they refused to give my son his prescription or contact lenses. They charged $80 for evaluation, which was not disclosed and adding 10 bucks here and there. Making $280 after insurance.

Before I paid for the glasses I asked the salesman 3 times if I can return them if I don’t like it. He told me that there’s a 30 day guarantee. Also when I tried it on before purchasing it, I said the glasses were too small but the salesman said “I think it looks good and we can adjust it for you” and explained that there was a 30 day money back guaranteed so I just went ahead and bought it. When I finally picked the glasses up, I said it was too small and he tried to adjust it but it’s still way too small. I went back after one hour of having it and they told me that they can only “restyle” it for me. Non of the glasses in there fit me so I found a different pair. Also when I went to get my eye exam done, they didn’t even give me my prescription! I had to come in a second time to ask the front lady for it. The lady in the front desk said since the LAB “baked” the lenses and made it to my needs they can’t give me my money back and made it seem like the lab has my money so they can’t refund it but then they said they can give me “credit” to use towards my contacts exam.... I want my money back not in store credit... They act like a retail store not even a practice. I’ll give it to him though, he’s a good salesman. I’ve read plenty of sales books and he used almost every single tactic in the books.

I agree with most reviews the doctors are nice but sales have been questionable over the years. Then today I came to pickup some sample contacts and their business hours on google say they are open until 4pm. I got here at 2:50pm and there was a sign on the door saying their hours changed back in August and they now closed at 3pm. The office was clearly closed when I got there. So not only have they not changed their operations hours on google in two months which is what most people use for business information l, but it seems they closed early. Super inconvenient.

Loved this office when my daughter went, and I decided to go myself as I love it even more! Due to the weather and the power outages I ended up having to bring my 7yr old and 2 week old with me and they were understanding. They were so supportive and sweet (I was overwhelmed first time being out with two kids) Dr. Tui and his team assured me it was ok for I kept apologizing for having the baby having to stop and feed etc etc. they got all my exam work out of the way and got me the perfect prescription that I’m happy with and gave me a legit answer to an issue I’ve had with my right eye for years. I explained I wanted to try something fun with contacts and Dr. Tui picked the perfect brown grey ones to go with my complexion ! Got it right on the first try! Then the woman that assisted me with my glasses were amazing. She wasn’t pushy and understood my budget. When she found me ones out of my budget she crunched numbers and it ended up being in budget with a discount I didn’t even know was available (if you buy more than one frames but I had contacts so I was able to get the discount) they were great. I was there almost 2.5 hours but I understood because they are swamped due to covid and how they have to handle things, but I wasn’t just sitting! They kept asking if I needed anything etc!

Everyone there has been so helpful and nice. I love my glasses!

I have a 7 year old son with Autism. He gets nervous going to new doctors and typically has meltdowns. I explained to the front desk that he has Autism and he would need extra time. I also asked him they could show him the machines before just doing the tests on them. They paired him with a technician named Alex and he was INCREDIBLE with him. He took the time to ask him questions about what he was interested in and got to know him before just doing tests on him. He also explained each machine in detail about what it does and how it works. This was SO helpful as it took away any anxiety my son was having. Alex also showed him what happens when light shines in his own eyes before shining the light in my son’s eyes. Then once Dr. Tieu came in, the kindness continued. They tagged teamed and made my son at such at ease. This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had at any kind of doctor. I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much for being patient with us! Everyone is so kind from the second you enter the door.

To say Dr. Tasman is amazing, just wouldnt be enough!! My daughter saw him at almost 4 (She is a twin) due to one of her eyes turning in. He was so gentle and overly caring, making sure she was comfortable. She was fitted for glasses and we patch which has been a tremendous help in straightening my daughters eye. We didnt know she needed glasses as shes passed standard eye tests. However, she has always been emotional and seemed to really not like my husband. It broke his heart as he never treated her with anything other than love and support. We couldnt go out to eat as a family because if I had to take my other two kids to the restroom, she would have a melt down and my husband couldnt look, talk, touch, or comfort my daughter in any way. The day Dr. T got glasses on my daughter, she not only had better balance, but she could SEE my husband. We think since hes 64 and has a beard and shes super tiny for her age that she thought he was scary! Now they have a beautiful relationship!! We have gone out to eat with no problems and he is even able to take her with all meltdowns! Dr. T saved us!!! Hes the best!!

First of all, when I first moved here the doctor I saw told me I didnt have any signs of AMD even after I told her I had been diagnosed by my ophthalmologist after my optometrist suspected I had early stages. Ive since switched to another ophthalmologist in Acworth that is treating me for AMD.Secondly, dont give them your phone number! Their SPAM computer will call you at all hours of the day/night to tell you they havent seen you in 2 years! Just got another call @ 5:00 am. Ridiculous! Lose my #!!!

Took my 5 years old daughter today to get examined and get her first pair of glass and I must say they are THE BEST, FRIENDLIEST, COMFORTABLE, WELCOMING MOST ATMOSPHERE I EVER BEEN TOO!!! Thank you all so much for being you all. From the check in till the end you are all amazing. My daughter cant wait to see you all again. :)

Absolutely wonderful. The lady at the front desk was polite, helpful, and very nice. The tech, Alex, was awesome! He made me feel comfortable and made sure i had everything i needed, he was very knowledgeable. The Dr, Dr. Ryan, was spectacular. He did everything really quickly and he was incredibly helpful. They were just a great team! The glasses helper, Alexis, was wonderful too. She was upbeat, very polite, and helpful. I would recommend this office for sure!

They always use multiple methods of communication to make sure I stay on top of my appointments. They are very willing to call my insurance for me and they recently saw me as a walk-in even though they were completely booked. The staff is accommodating, knowledgeable and timely. I’ve been going for years and I’ve never had a negative experience.

They know me when I come in the door and are always helpful and fun to talk to. I just recently came in with someone that has not been able to have glasses for 7 years and they took great care of him. The whole staff went above and beyond to make sure he had glasses that day. It’s been months and I still don’t have the glasses I PAID FOR AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO CALL THEM THEY JUST IGNOR THE PHONE once I get them if I ever get them I won’t be coming back very shady people they most likely are ignoring me so that I will forget and they can keep the money they keep hanging up on me it’s sad this used to be a good place and if you leave a bad review they call you asking you to take it down and if u don’t they post a good one to push yours down sad

They fit us in quickly so that’s why it’s not one star but taking two hours after the appointment starts and an hour after the exam is done to get customers out the door is just unacceptable, especially after we see what looks to be the entire staff team outside taking selfies. Seems very disorganized. Lady at the desk had to ask doc about something for billing, took literally 20 more minutes. Just crazy slow and seemingly unorganized. People have things to do, I don’t know why staff are taking selfies when we’re still sitting here waiting to pay and leave. Just not very organized or professional, won’t be back. Was relatively-speaking cheap, but we have responsibilities to get done, sitting here half the day waiting to pay because of disorganization was not ideal.

A co-worker recommended this eye clinic to me a couple of years ago, and Im glad they did! Dr. Gurvich and her team are always outstanding. They really take the time to diagnose and explain any eye conditions that you may have. I always leave feeling good about my visit. Everyone at the clinic is so friendly too. I really enjoy this clinic and would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

I have never had a better experience going to see the eye doctor. I have been going to Tasman Eye Consultants for years. My kids when they were growing up loved to see Dr. Tasman and his staff. The only reason they cant see him know is that they live in another state. I have had every type of eye wear from hunting or shooter glasses to motorcycle glasses done and glasses for work. The service is world class, everyone in the office are professional and very personable. They have also helped me with my nephew that has had trouble being fitted for glasses. Dr. Tasman set him up with a great pair of glasses, my nephew was so excited about how good he could see. I enjoy every visit.

Best group of professionals ever. Took care of my daughters from the start with Kayla, setting up the appointment, to Alex who made my daughters feel comfortable, and Dr. Tieu who quickly figured out the problem. I recommend them to everyone. My appointment will be me.

The Best experience ever at the eye doctor. Dr. Tasman is very nice and funny and so is Dr. Tieu. The entire atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff makes a point of learning your name. It is clear that everyone takes pride in their work and they have excellent patient care. They are the best!

I had a 3:30 appointment and arrived a few minutes early. Sat there 30 minutes - no one said anything to me. Woman on phone entire time scheduling appointments. Having to wear a mask 😷 and we all know you don’t breathe properly - I leftI even called to confirm my appointment - poor customer service. They don’t deserve the 1 star

They were prompt, polite, professional and went above and beyond exceeding my expectations. There was no pressure to purchase glasses and they were honest with clear advice after the examination. Used a groupon for a credit on the glasses and paid the rest with care credit. He didnt need insurance, no out of pocket expenses except for the groupon. Quick, courteous and professional service and 3 days later he had his Ray Bans!

I saw Dr. Tasman & would highly recommend him to anyone. I was fortunate enough to be able to over hear Dr. Tasman with a little girl & it was her first visit to the eye Doctor. He was so good with the little girl that after I left my appointment I told my son & daughter in law that when my Grandchildren need an eye Doctor take them to Dr. Tasman.

The Doctors a good, but the staff is terrible, high pressure sales man and completely oblivious to your needs, i ordered prescription safety glasses and it took almost 3 months to get them. Well not be going back.

Wonderful! I was very pleased with my appointment and care. For many years I saw the same opthamologist, and when he retired I sort of drifted from place to place. Now that I have found this practice, I think I have a home for my eye care again. The entire staff is professional, pleasant, and kind.

In my experience this far, the friendly, knowledgable staff was willing to help in any they could. Dr. Fowler worked fast but took the time to explain the conditions so that there were no questions about level of care given. I was seen in less than 3 minutes of arrival and appointment time. I did filled out all of my paperwork online prior to my appointment, and only had to put my signatures 2 forms upon arriving at the office for the first time. After being a patience of a big box chain of p. vision, I could see that the personalized service was superior at Tasman. The new equipment that was used to measure the fitment of the new frames and lenses leaves little room for error. (No marker dots on a trial pair of frames and lenses here.) I would and have recommended Tasman to friends.

I have been a patient for over 25 years. I trust him implicitly with my eyes. I have been extremely near sighted my whole life. He has fitted my contact lenses perfectly. I joke with him and tell him Im the reason that he became an eye doctor because my eyes were that bad. Hes recently helped with getting a lens replacement and his office is very helpful in facilitating that whole process. Im to move to Houston soon, but he may very well be worth the flight back annually to have my eyes checked by someone I can trust.

The staff here is awesome. I came here when I was a kid and now that I have children of my own 2/3 need glasses, so I bring them here. My oldest is soon getting contacts and I wouldnt take her anywhere else.

The Tasman Eye consultants have been wonderful. I have some problems which were immediately found and treated, and referred out to most an equally satisfactory specialist when indicated. I trust them completely and will continue to go there as long as I live in Georgia.

Dont expect to pay the base charge. If you ask them why you were charged more, they wont be able to explain it to you. When I continued to politely insist, I was dealt with very aggressively by the administrative director and told that I was being aggressive and rude to her staff.Basically, I felt like they were going to charge whatever they wanted without explanation and I should just shut my mouth and pay my bill.On a positive note, the doctors were great. The office staff, uhh... not so much.Not recommended.

I drove down from out of town just to bring my dad (67 years old) for an evaluation for cataracts and my niece (6 years old that day) for her first eye exam and was thrilled by our experience! We were greeted with a smile by the front desk as soon as we walked in the door. They were very understanding of our insurance issues. Cassie came and got my dad from the front and was wonderful with him! Alex came and got my niece right about the same time and he was also wonderful with her! Made her feel very comfortable and not scared of anything. They were very accommodating of the fact that I wanted to be with both my dad and my niece. Dr. Tieu was really good with my niece and with explaining what he was doing. He left the door open so that I could come in and out of the exam room as needed. The day of the appointment was actually her 6th birthday and Alex and Dr. Tieu surprised her with 2 prizes! She felt like she was so important there! Dr. Zutaut made my dad feel like he was getting VIP treatment. I cant speak enough for how well and organized that office is! Everything is done with such smoothness! We could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you again everyone at the clinic!! :)

Our family has gone to Stuart Tasman at Tasman Eye Consultants for more than twenty years. When my child moved out of Atlanta, he kept one doctor in the Atlanta area……Stuart Tasman. Stuart actually took time to understand that I look at a computer screen more than 8 hours a day based on my current job. He fit me with computer glasses that eliminated my eye strain and daily headaches. Dr. Tasman also took family history into consideration and constantly does the proper testing to make sure Macular Degeneration never becomes an issue with our family. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. The office is clean and set up for efficiency…..once you get fit for glasses Tasman Eye Consultants has a technician fit you with proper frames. First class operation and undoubtedly a great experience…….keep up the good work!

I was referred to Dr. Tasman by my opthomologist in another town because of a severe eye condition that I have. I have been very pleased. Dr. Tasman is a very pleasant man & manages to be encouraging in a serious situation. His staff reflects his optimism.

Everyone I came in contact with was courteous and helpful. Besides the standard eye exam I had an infection in one eye. Dr. Tasman took time to run several tests to determine the best treatment which has cleared up the problem.

Our family has been with Dr. Tasman for many years and they know us well. The staff ask about other family members, etc., so it is a very friendly atmosphere. If we have an eye problem, Dr. Tasman is quick to help us or send us to a specialist.

While I am VERY happy with my eye doctor, Dr. Zutaut, I could not be more dissatisfied with the Optical Department. Under the recommendation of Dr. Zutaut, I was encouraged to try a pair of progressive eyeglasses. I experienced extreme discomfort with them and after three weeks, went back in to discuss my issues. At that point I was told nothing could be done, they do not offer refunds. At best, they would make me a pair of regular reading glasses. Nevermind that I paid close to $700 for a pair of progressive lens and glasses. They never explained the NO REFUND policy and actually encouraged me to try them. So my advice is to make sure you know that if you order eyeglasses from them, you own them outright, whether they work or not. Highly unprofessional. Take your prescription to Vision Works at the mall, they have a better selection and offer real guarantee. Now I own a pair of $700 reading glasses.... great customer service huh.

The assistant kept trying to jam the contacts in my eyes. They charge $135 for the contact fitting, even though I have been wearing contacts for 20 years. Ive never had an eye doctor charge to put contacts in my eyes, especially when I am perfectly capable of doing so. Will never return!
