I’m hoping the place does well. I had mixed feelings on my last visit but I’ve been several times and plan to go back. I ordered a strawberry Bellini and got what you see in the first picture, I didn’t care for it. I was barely drinking it and my server noticed and offered to remake it. I appreciated that, I was just not going to drink it. He returned with the drink in the second photo, much better! So you may have to request how you want yours made. They have many cafe drink options also that are awesome. I ordered the chicken and waffle for my meal. The chicken tenders have little flavor and would probably only satisfy your standard chicken eating kiddo. It took forever to come out unfortunately. I was in no rush and just waited. I expected the chicken to be piping hot since it was delayed in coming out, because they were frying it since I added it on after ordering the waffle, but it was definitely barely above room temp. The server again noticed the lengthy weight and came to apologize for it and assured me it would be ready soon. He even had them throw in fresh strawberries at no extra charge. I ordered the bananas but held out in the strawberries originally. The waffle and the fruit were AMAZING!!! They have so many items on their menu too. There was a lady enjoying a slab of ribs across the room that looked delicious. The server was great though. He even signed me up for their points so I can earn discounts on future visits if you’re into that.
Fun place. Service was good, restaurant is new and clean. Food was good, could have used a little more seasoning. I order the chicken and waffles and my mom had the breakfast skillet and potatoes. The potatoes definitely needed more seasoning as well as my chicken. But it was still good. My mimosa was excellent and strong!! Order the single so you get more champagne.Their menu has soo many choices so its something for everyone.We will return again!
Ive been here twice and both times the food was super delicious and well presented, I only put 4 stars just because my waffle was cold but everything else was hot so perhaps that was plated first also I had strawberries on top. But I would for sure go back for the amazing desserts in the display case and the retro vibe of the diner. They also have really delicious cafe style coffee drinks. So go support your local business and give them a try.
Incredible!!! Atmosphere is beautiful- contemporary retro with gorgeous fixtures. Service was amazing- our server had been serving for 20 years and it showed. He was wonderful. The food- oh the food! Everything we had, from the Benedicts to the cake was absolutely out of this world. I can’t wait to go back and get more cannoli cake. I have a new addiction! I highly recommend this spot.
Awesome lunch experience! Kevin was our server and he was fantastic. He was helpful, especially with the menu (its huge). My mother-in-law got a cheese quesadilla which she loved. My husband got the fried green tomato BLT which was delicious. I got the famous donut burger, which came with rubber gloves to keep you clean! If you like donuts and burgers and are a fan of salty sweet things, youll love this burger. It was most excellent! Before our entrees came out, Kevin had brought us a surprise box, which ended up being a sublime piece of white chocolate, chocolate cake. We three shared it, making it the perfect ending to a surprisingly wonderful lunch experience. Next time were in town, well be back!!!
I would have not rated at all because the Service was terrible never got to even order a glass of water. Place was not busy server look at us after being seated . Another group came in after us and was seated and served immediately. I would only be able to say maybe because we are people of color we should be at the back of the bus If you will. Liked coming here but probably the last time. And for my 60,000 followers I would recommend finding somewhere that cares about customers or pertinial customers . Can not critique the food if you cant even get served a glass of water! Actually no stars if it would let me rate that way.
From where the service used to be when it opened until now, absolutely disappointing. No longer bring bread to your table before you order. Don’t give you the coffee menu for their coffee bar which is what they used to be well known for. No longer put sugar around the lemonade rim. They did because I asked but it looked like they threw it on and put absolutely zero effort in it. Portion sizes are down. Ordered the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and was significantly smaller than last time. Also put $15 cash towards our receipt and waitress charged our card the full amount of $36 and tried taking it as a tip instead so we had to ask for most of it back. Didn’t ever ask if I needed a water when I finished my lemonade and coffee and never got a refill on anything. Worst service ever. Don’t bother. Not worth the time
We have been going to the diner for awhile. However after today it will be awhile before we go back. Stopped for lunch. Order was taken. Waitress very pleasant. People coming in after us getting their food and leaving. Finally after waiting a half n hour and food still hadn’t arrived. Spoke to one of the waitresses to check on our order. After an additional 10 min. My husband was livid and we left and went somewhere else.Going to wait awhile to go back Hopefully their service improves. Guessing the kitchen lost the order. Not sure. Just know husband was very upset. Restaurant wasn’t swamped.
Food was excellent. Always drove by this place but never stopped in to try it. After finding out they served Bloody Marys I figured Id give the place a try. Went for Sunday brunch and the food and drinks didnt disappoint. Will be back soon to try the Donut bacon cheese burger that they offer...........Went back to try the Donut bacon cheese burger and was not disappointed. I opted not to use the gloves they give you with the burger so it was messy....but delicious. A must try!
Loved the food, everything we tried was delicious. Our server Lindsay was helpful and guided us in some great breakfast options. If youre looking for something sweet try the cakes you wont regret it.I would definitely come back here again.
The meat was dry and over cooked. I thought it might just have been mine, but my wifes food was the same way and it was a totally different kind of meal. Then we bought desert to go. The cake we bought was half the size of what was being served to customers at tables adjacent to ours. On top of that the cake was old and stale, so much so the icing was brittle and it had a strange taste like it had been stored in a refrigerator with something else that contributed to the strange taste. We had to throw both pieces of cake in the garbage.
We ordered off of the greek menu and the portions were shockingly small. We were so disappointed that we were going to review this place a 2 star but then ordered Greek wings upon receiving our tiny meals and they were very very tasty so we decided on 3 stars. The portion was 3 thin slices of meat, way below industry standard.
We have loved going here since the day the doors opened. The service is spectacular. Clean, quiet, and delicious. Deserts are amazing and have yet to try a meal off the menu we didnt like. We stop here regularly. Doesnt matter of youre in the mood for breakfast, lunch, sinner, or just coffee and desert. This place will take care of you as if youre family.
One of my favorite spots for breakfast! The food is delectable and the aesthetics of the restaurant are well crafted. The service most times is pleasant from start to finish! My server today was Troyce, he was very hospitable. I definitely recommend this reasonably priced restaurant for all to experience!
Great food, great service. My nature is I dont try many different things but everything Ive tried has been really good. Chicken quesadillas, burgers, grilled chicken sandwich, fish and chips and salads have all been very good.
They are working on a new menu and a new process for serving so our service was a little slow, but the people are nice and explained what was going on. The food was absolutely incredible though. The French Onion Soup was hands down the best I have ever eaten. The Chicken Piccata was luxurious and rich. Well visit again for sure. Hopefully their new system will be fully implemented by then.
The Diner Bakery Co. NEVER disappoints!!! The food is amazing and we are always greeted with a friendly smile. The staff is wonderful and the Greek Fries are so delicious! I love the California Panini and the Pacific Omelette but the French Toast and Country Fried Steak are fantastic as well. If you want something a little smaller try the New York Breakfast Sandwich.
Love the food at this establishment! The fresh bread with oil and balsamic is a great way to start a meal. My favorite soup has been the Autumn Squash Soup. The lemon chicken soup was great during the first opening months but I feel like it hasnt quite been hitting the mark. I definitely recommend the Corned Beef Hash, Fish & Chips and the old fashion pot roast. Highly enjoyed the Nutella Cafe. There is typically a wait, tends to get super crowded at dinner rush. However, the food is definitely worth it!(2/3) Pictured is the White Chocolate Raspberry Cake. Yum. And it was on the house! What an awesome treat!!

Staff was very friendly this was my first time there. I enjoyed it!!!!! I definitely look forward to going back brought the food home taste really great I will definitely go back there! I just might have my birthday dinner there!
The food is always good, the presentation always appeasing. The menu is extensive and diverse. The service is wonderful...with the one exception that keeps this from being a 5 star review. Multiple times I have been told that the wait (which there will be one at peak hours) was to be longer than it ended up being...like, significantly shorter. Multiple times I have been told 15-20 minutes, only to be seated in less than 5. Multiple times. It makes me feel like they are intentionally trying to thin out the crowd by weeding out the impatient. Im sure Im wrong but it has happened so many times, it has given me pause to think why. Other than that, it would be a 5 star review. The food and table service are top notch!
Great food, a huge menu (both the brunch and dinner menu are amazing!), and a beautiful atmosphere inside. The staff is always super friendly. A great option if you live on this side of town, and you dont feel like traveling to the Marietta diner. It has similar items to the Marietta diner and a similar feel, just smaller, and less hectic. They have very good cakes and pies made in house too!
I finally checked out the Diner Bakery Company with some friends for brunch and Im kicking myself for not coming here earlier. The prices are great for what youre getting and our server Kevin was very nice. My corned beef hash skillet was delicious and the biscuit was very fluffy.
First time here since it is still relatively new. Went for a bakery-level bagel just to test the water. Decor is fun, somewhere between hipster and classic 50s dinner. Menu lists foods they apparently dont serve any more (most bagel varieties) and my food was delivered burnt black without remorse from the waiter. This is unacceptable negligence and reflects apathy for the customer.There are lots of exciting options available like alcoholic milk shakes, huge cakes, etc. but after this experience I have no confidence in the quality, which is important because these are not cheap dinner prices. I will likely give it one more shot for lunch with a more conventional order, but for now, it was a disappointing experience and yet another dinner that falls victim to diner-itis, too many menu options and not enough focus on making any of them good.

I heard that the French toast was very delicious... The menu has a vast variety of food selections... The Diner is spacious, seating is very comfortable and its also very clean Diner...

I love this Diner Bakery Company!! They are the nicest people and the best food I can think of. You can order Brunch almost all day. their sandwiches and dinner options are 5 🌟. This is a great budget option without the budget options.

Our goto place when anyone says I dont know...where ever you want.The tuna fish is so good. Like a NY diner.Fabulous pot roast.And best chocolate cream pie in town.Bonus earn loyalty points for every dollar spent.One of the servers.. not even ours was so sweet.My mom was cold and he brought her over a pot of hot water wrapped in a towel. Kudos for great service
Everytime we go to this establishment the food gets worse.Dry, disappointing and the desserts were not that great.Not sure if Ill ever go back.The desserts looked delicious until we took our first bite.Looks are deceiving as the saying goes.

Great food and friendly service! Good portions. They recently added some more authentic Greek options to their already vast menu. There is definitely something for everyone to enjoy here. My only recommendation is that they stock up on their monte christo bread as it is a very popular item. They use the bread for their French breakfast menu so by the time the dinner rush rolled around they were out of it. It happens and there is still plenty else on the menu to choose from. We just wished that the kitchen would advise the wait staff of popular items when theyre out as we placed our order for two and waited a bit before we were told they couldnt fulfill the orders and then we had to request the menus again so we could pick something else. I went with the gyro and it was great though! Their pita bread was tasty and amazingly fresh too. Their tzatziki sauce was on point. This is a great neighborhood gem!

This place offers a very good experience but seems to be lacking something with its overall presentation. The meatloaf and potatoes are a little unusual but fantastic. Desserts are pretty good. The exterior of the building is a little odd. To me the lighting makes it look like its always closed.

Had a delicious corned beef hash with perfect eggs over easy for brunch today (12/15/2019)! Our server, Jermaine, who is excellent, said they have one guy that cooks all the eggs and potatoes: Hector. Kudos to Hector and his ability to leave the yolks runny and thoroughly cooking the whites. Not an easy task!!!We discovered this place in October this year and have been retuned at least 3 times already. If they offered any non-dairy alternative options for their coffee on a consistent basis I would have given them the perfect score.
This place has a really great ambiance and really spectacular food. I would definitely recommend stopping by. If not for the unique vibe, then for the huge selection of cheesecakes and desserts.
Love, love, love! We wanted a fun place for breakfast and we accidentally came across the Diner Bakery Company and Im so glad we did!! From the moment I sat down and looked at the menu I knew this was my new favorite place. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I absolutely loved the ambiance which was a modern twist on a retro diner.It took the two of us forever to order because everything genuinely looked great (a problem I havent had in a while) so I look forward to returning to try the rest.
I went her today with my mom and my cousin about 12:00PM. This was my mom and I first time here and EVERYTHING was GREAT! My server was Simona, she was on point, and the BEST!!!!!! She always kept checking on us Very Attentive, Polite, Happy, a People Person, and Just EXCELLENT!!!!The food was 5 Star and then some! Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, juicy, and PERFECT!!! The sweet is the BEST!!! The special lemonade was EXCELLENT!! GREAT combination the manager created for the special lemonade. The manager is also a People Person, ask anything we needed, wanted to know how the food and everything was. I had to tell her that the food IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Plus Simona was Terrific!!!I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR EVERYONE TO COME OUT AND CHECK IT OUT, TO SEE WHAT A TERRIFIC PLACE IT IS!!!!The Manager deserves an Award, and an all paid trip for 2 to any place she like with $2,000 spending money. We had a late breakfast here. He had the pancake combo and I tried the western omelette wth home fries! Service was excellent, timely check ins, pleasant. Home fries could have been a smidge hotter but overall really enjoyable experience. Reasonably priced as well! We are planning to return another time for Sunday brunch!
Ordered curbside. The man who took my order and the gal who brought it to the car were super nice. But my meal was 3 vegs and what I got was mixed vegs. So I thought ok mistake made, Ill just eat that. As I looked closer there was major mold on the cauliflower brackets. I went in and the man who took my order apologized profusely. He got my correct order and the mashed potatos were amazing, the brocolli was mediocre at best. Very disappointed!
We have enjoyed the quality food and service while dining in at The Diner Bakery over the last couple years. Today, we had the pleasure of experiencing their specialty Easter takeout menu. The turkey was savory and moist combined with perfectly cooked and seasoned risotto and mash potatoes. Even the Cesar sale exceeded our expectations! Our preorder allowed us to select a complimentary bottle of wine which we was a perfect pairing. For dessert, we selected the Diner’s carrot cake and lemon cello mascarpone- both cakes were delicious. My family loves The Diner Bakery, and we have missed visiting these last few weeks due to the National health emergency. We will continue to order takeout from this consistently tasty establishment and eagerly await the day we can dine in the restaurant again.
My husband ordered a greek salad. I was rather disappointed as there wasnt an ounce of lettuce. It was only onions & cucumbers & for 2 salds came up to $30.00. The customer service rep. was however polite.****Update: I did end up purchasing the full, authentic Greek salad and it was delicious & plentiful. Thanks!!!***

Diner dishes made with French and upscale techniques. Definitely a hidden gem in the North Atlanta area. Me and my wife love to come here when we want some upscale comfort food done right. The bakery here is also fantastic, and if you love cannolis, youll have to get some of their cannoli cake.Staff are super friendly, attentive and wonderful.
We came here to celebrate Christmas with my dad so we had 13 people and they were able to accommodate us. We did have reservations the only drawback was we thought we were going to have the room to ourselves but we did not so it was a little loud. Otherwise would definitely go back. Our waiter was extremely attentive and took care of everyone above and beyond. He even helped his take pictures so we can all get in pictures together. Definitely well-run restaurant with wonderful staff.

Visited location on Sunday 2/9/20. It was a busy afternoon, but they took a last minute reservation for a table of 14. Employee on the phone was very nice as well as the hostess (young blond - hate I didn’t catch names). Not only was our waiter (gray goatee with glasses and possibly manager) top notch. The food was outstanding and when our waiter overheard that it was my girlfriends birthday, he ensured she received a slice of cake with happy birthday written on the plate. He went above and beyond with his service skills and my family and I are customers for life. I only hope someone sees this and shows him!!!Your loyal for life customer now - Chad

Im visiting with my boyfriend and my family down here recommended this restaurant. Evie was very welcoming and she helped us through the menu. She even went so far and brought a pastry out for us to try and said it was on her. Great customer service. Great food.

This restaurant has a LARGE and extensive menu with PLENTY of options for anyone and everyone. The food looked very good. My wifes Salmon Oscar was really good. I had their famous donut burger which was a little underwhelming, but I cant wait to go back and try something else on the menu.It was a nice and quiet establishment with a great location right off Cobb Pkwy.

They have an amazing chicken and waffles but on the menu their pot roast is supposed to have carrots, red mashed potatoes, and pot roast gravy. I got red mashed potatoes, green beans, and some type of spaghetti sauce loaded with tomatoes on top. Very strange and not at all what I wanted, overall a disappointing meal but everyone else had a great experience!
The food is definitely hit or miss here. I had the NY Strip, and they are definitely not a steak house. The steak was OK, but Ive had a lot better. It was cooked properly, but too thin and the seasoning was wanting. The baked potato was dried out though and I almost chipped a tooth on the bacon bits that we in it. One of my sons had a burger, and it was good. The other had fettuccine, which was pretty good. The carrot cake was not bad, but a bit dry. The cookie dough cheesecake was pretty good though. Like I said, hit or miss.The only standout to me was the service. Our waiter, Kevin, was awesome and did a great job of taking care of us. He was on top of everything and had a great attitude. Thanks to his great service Ill definitely be going back, but I think Ill try to stick with the burgers next time, or maybe breakfast.
Largest menu in the world, its like 6 plus pages. Dont know if thats a good thing yet though. Good service and decent food.

This was one of the best experiences I have had at a local restaurant. Our waiter was very helpful and answered all of our questions extensively. He was also very good with service, asked if we needed drinks in a timely manner. Food was excellent, had a medium rare burger that was cooked to perfection. It was obvious they knew how to keep the burger at the safe temperature for the right amount of time. I would recommend this place 10/10
My husband and 2 kids had dinner last week for the 1st time. The food was good, affordable and came out very quick. What really made our evening great was our awesome server, Nick. An absolute delight! A great attitude and a wonderful personality! Its not hard to see that he is a true professional. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience and even brought my kids dessert; on the house.

This is a great place with great food! I had the California burger which had provolone, avocado,lettuce,tomato, and black bean and corn salsa on top with fresh cut fries. It was delicious! The cakes and pies are great too! They also have an extensive coffee menu and Adult milkshakes!

Food is outstanding. Everything you could want from fine dining to grilled cheese done to perfection. The deserts are incredible, they have a red velvet cake that will take your breath away. The wait staff is kind and efficient. The food isnt rushed but the few minutes extra wait is well worth it, you can tell care is put into each and every plate. One of my very favorite places that just does everything right.
My family came here Sat. for a late Thanksgiving meal. We were escorted to a private room to a long table and found our seats and ordered our meals. The staff was very nice and while they didnt have any sweet potatoes, they did take the gravy off my meat. No cranberry sauce, but my sister-in-law-s sister gave me hers and the meal was excellent. The tea was very good too. My boyfriend and I hope to come back some time soon a restaurant we liked went out if business so this is a great alternative to it-even if its not an Irish pub.
