I’ve been going there since I was a teenager and made the mistake of getting a range membership a couple years ago. I asked to suspend our membership in January (more than a year as required) due to ammo prices and they’ve charged me every month since. I’ve had to dispute the charges with Scott many times and he has refunded most of them, yet they keep charging me. Now I’m having my credit card company deal with it. The range is awesome but the hassle and lack of customer concern is NOT. So I absolutely would not recommend a membership there. It’s like a black hole that you can’t get out of.

A friend went here revelry and they had 9mm priced at 1 dollar a round for FMJ, and 2 dollars a round for hollow points. He asked them what their reasoning for such a steep price point is for the hollow points was. They reply with: There are lots of new gun owners that come in here and they dont know any better and think that that is normal pricing for ammo, so thats what we charge them. Don’t get scammed by these people!

These a$$holes charge over a dollar a round for 9mm, and laugh at newbie shooters who don’t know any better than to take their money elsewhere. Don’t come here unless you want to get ripped off.

Charging $1 a round for fmj 9mm and $2 a round for hp just to make a buck off the new comers. These guys have predatory business practices, and will charge you more than is a fair price for range time and ammo.

They are busy and sometimes it’s tough to get questions in or take a look at some of the things they have in stock or to offer, but that’s only due to the sheer amount of customer traffic they get! First time going to a gun range as I am a new gun owner. Walked in and the gentleman asked what he could help me with and I told him I would like to shoot. He said just fill out the form. I filled out the form and told him that I had never been there before and how it all works. He politely explained it to me. After my time shooting, I asked the same gentleman a question about my gun and how my shots were always to one side of the target and how can I fix the sights. He explained that it was not the gun and that it was me and what I was probably doing. What he explained made total sense. Looking forward to coming back to see if I can correct it.Only thing I wish they could do is have a table or something to put ones items on inside the range as there are only a couple chairs.Other than that I have no complaints. Definitely coming back. Thank You for a pleasant experience.

Worst business I dealt with in years! Poor customer service, business does NOT back up or guarantee product sold to me. I purchased a rifle. Upon delivery to my local FFL the magazine was damaged. Manager would not replace it. Once I purchased replacement magazine gun jammed half the rounds in the 10 round clip. Its clearly a dysfunctional firearm. Manager does not talk to me on the phone, or return calls, or answer emails. I will NEVER do business there again!

No real wait to shoot, walked in and was shooting within 5-10 mins. I think range time is like $14 a hour and $1 per paper target if you don’t bring your own. I had a good time. Not the friendliest staff but I didn’t really go to make friends so not a huge deal for me. I didn’t buy any ammo or weapons so I can’t speak to the prices but a quick peak at the inventory, the prices seemed fair

Like others have said, dont expect to be waited on hand and foot as soon as you walk in the door. It s not a ladies shoe store. BUT, if you ask questions, they are very helpful. Whether the prices are good or not depends on what youre looking for. I personally like the indoor range and the fact that you can rent a wide variety of guns there to try out before you invest in one. This is a fantastic service. I took one of my brothers there a few months ago to try an XD compact. He could have swore he wanted a 9mm but after he shot a few of the available pistols, he decided the .45 was more accurate.I also like the gunsmith they have right now, mostly because hes very knowledgeable about AK platform weapons, which I have too many of. Damn you cheap spam can ammo!

Like stopping in here, great that you dont get harassed as soon as you walk in the door. Free to browse around and when you are ready for some help or to ask a question, you get good, straightforward answers. Also nice that though the folks there are pretty well versed they do not seem to be the I know everything and your experiences or opinions are meaningless sort. Sometimes their ammo selection is a tad weak but come back in a few days and usually it is stocked again.

Ive been doing business with Hole In the Wall for over 30 years.Ive purchased countless firearms and even consigned several over those three decades. For those complaining about rude or unfriendly staff...you mustve gone in while they were very busy or when someone was having a bad day (still not an excuse for poor customer service).Scott wont put up with rudeness behind the counter. The days of the Good ol boy attitude are long gone. The current staff are knowledgeable and helpful whether youre there to buy or youre just looking. If you go in to use the range and maybe rent some guns to shoot youll find the staff helpful and knowledgeable in that area as well. They even offer firearm training classes that include actual shooting.Feel free to ask all the questions you need to ask. They would rather you ask them n00b questions so you know what youre doing and you dont make n00b mistakes. As I said, Ive been doing business with them for 30+ years and will continue to do so until I cant shoot anymore.

The owner likes to hire extremely rude staff. I asked one of the clerks working there a simple question, how much is this box of 9mm and he acted like I just insulted his wife. I asked him which box was better of the 2 brands and he said condescendingly, Theyre both brass, it doesnt matter . on top of that I asked if I could have some oil on the xDM rental gun I was using and he pretends to oil it but when I check the barrel its dry. The other staff member was nice, but they have a history of hiring extremely rude, condescending, lying staff members. if you use the range and one of them treats you bad just give him the finger and show him your target and ask him if he can do better.

I went to use the range and while its nice to have an indoor range available, they have a policy of leaving your brass, which as a reloader and the high price of brass now days, I find this as a problem. The price to shoot was $20.00 a day when I used the range last, not sure what it is now, but for that price and to leave my brass too, it is not cost efficient. The gun shop itself seems to be well stocked and the staff was helpful, although I went around lunch time and there was only one guy behind the counter so it did take some time to be waited on. I think if they would change their policy about leaving your brass and let you collect your brass I would have given this a much higher rating.UPDATE: I see that you can now collect your own brass. Prices are good if your military you get a discount. The only issue I found was the range was a mess, with brass laying all over the place and two lanes out of commission. Looks like the range is getting tired and in need of required maintenance. Its still nice to have a local place to shoot handguns.

After reading the reviews Im not sure if Hole in the Wall is paying for these positive reviews or the employees and their relatives are writing these positive reviews or the total lack of a decent indoor range in the Tri-Cities has people confused of what constitutes a good indoor firing range. For that reason I will assist. Marksman in Puyallup is an excellent indoor range. Sharp Shooting Indoor Range in Spokane is an exceptional indoor range. Hole in the Wall is an open cesspool. On the day I visited five lanes were inoperable and the air conditioner was running (it was 23 degrees outside). When I requested an employee turn off the air conditioner I received a snarky response. The employee was too busy texting and doing Facebook to assist customers. The floor of the range was littered with spent brass. No one checked the shooters to see that they policed up their brass when they finished firing. Range safety was left up to the individual shooter. Quality ranges all require a safety brief before you are allowed to take your spot on the firing line and a range officer is present to make certain the rules are adhered to. Hole in the Wall has none of these features. Basically Hole in the Walls policy is do whatever you want just dont get us involved. I would avoid this range until sweeping changes take place.

I heard of the Hole in the Wall before but finally had a chance to check them out when I had new shooter with some physical limitations. I have high standards for customer service as I work in it myself. I also grew up with old crusty gun shop owners that have to deal with a lot of lookers and very few people with interest and a store for of valuable inventory, I dont expect stores like this to be like Tiffanys., so I dont start rating my customer service until I engage them. My experience was swell, clerk read the situation well and gave helpful recommendations per what we were looking for. I enjoyed the fact I could keep my .45 ACP brass for reloading. In the end I rented ten different pistols for the new shooter to compare and find what would work for her. In fact at one point I needed to purchase more ammunition and one of the clerks got up from his lunch and helped me out. Yes the range was a bit messy and a lane was down but in fairness the shooter volume was pretty high and as long as its not an immediate safety hazard I see no need to shut the range down midday to sweep brass. Ten pistol rentals, three boxes of ammunition, and two shooters in the range was $148.00 not bad when I consider its wear and tear on all their equipment and not mine. My only critic is it would have been nicer to see a better selection of high demand pistols in the rental case. Automatic wise they had Glocks, a few Springfields, and one Smith & Wesson and a few unpopular or one off pistols. It would have been nice to have seen a few Sig Sauer, Ruger, and maybe a Kahr or H&K.

Well the day we bought it they let us use the range free of charge to fire off the new gun. My wife loved it. The people say that the walther p22 is crap because it malfunctions an jams.
