Julie is expert at flooring decisions. After much consideration, we decided that we wanted a plain parquet for our upstairs, and we found a vendor online that offered something similar to our desires - and Ill add that this type of flooring is uncommon and hard to find. Julie found a local/state vendor and a local floor installer/finisher for much less money than what we had found, and the quality was excellent. In addition, she offered her interior design experience as we chose lighting and paint colors, and her thoughts were invaluable. She also helped us find great carpets for our master bedroom and our spiral staircase.As our project continued, she also offered ideas about some unique aspects of our house - such as re-staining ceiling beams, dealing with popcorn ceilings, and making our front door more appealing - its a heavy wood (old) door, and we were able to do a makeover for it because of her help.If you want someone who will birddog every contractor who enters your house, she may not be the one for you. But if you want someone who knows design and flooring choices - and much more - and will hire the highest quality subcontractors to do the job for you, you will definitely be completely satisfied. Julie knows the people in the area who do various types of contracting, and she chooses reliable and highly qualified people.I would - and will - use her again anytime I need flooring consultations, and for many other services as well.One more thing - the cost of her services was well worth the results. I felt that the cost for her services was well beyond reasonable.
