Great customer service and very helpful staff. Used to go in weekly because they had a great stock and selection of Gundam and other models. The Gundam selection is essentially non existent as of the last 9 months or so and other than cars the model selection is lacking. Seems rc stuff has taken over most of the store. Would have rated a 5 but the models were my whole reason for going. Now I only go in when I need paint stuff for my airbrush.

Very cool shop. Mostly carried RC and scenery design. Was looking for fantasy figurines, but only found paint. Why have fantasy themed paint, but no fantasy things to paint? Overall a good shop though.

Such a great place! Husband likes to shop here for models. They have so many great games, toys & stuff for hobbies. Paints, decals, etc., that you cant find anywhere else. Also a great selection of radio controlled items & lots more. If you are a hobby enthusiast, this store is definitely worth a visit.

Beware of purchases made from this store.We purchased an item that appeared to be opened. They assured us that it had not. Only that it has been “checked”. My wife asked if this was returned could we receive a refund and was assured she could.They would not refund our money. They only have in store credit. As this is unacceptable we have tried to work with this store and have placed several calls with a person named Tyco. He was supposed to forward to Jeremy the owner. He has made it clear to us that they are not interested in working with us.We asked for a refund - they will not do so.We asked them to order an item - they told us they can’t. This was an item that was actually in their store but had been sold. We asked for them to order another one. They will not.They said maybe they can get one from another store but this has proven to not be the case.Jeremy will not return multiple requests for contact.My advice is to find another company to do business with. One that is more ethical In nature and will treat you as a customer.

Well about Hobby town they have always done me right because I have to drive a hour and a half to get my parts for my RC trucks theres not to much in Yakima Washington.

We support small town businesses as often as we can, however it is difficult to shop when they dont have the parts you need. The parts they were going to order would take two to three months to arrive. It was easier for us to use EBAY. I love that we have a hobby store but it is for a very select customer who does not happen to be our family.

Great selection, location, fair store prices and knowledgeable staff. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the all too common disdain for quadcopter pilots. The best way to get ignored is to mention quads.

I cant believe they dont deal with drones anymore. Kinda disappointing.

Has anyone had a controller problems?i just bought the arma notorious 1/8 scale on saturday 4/10 just before closing and sunday morning went to play with it fell in love the second time sunday the power botton broke right off and fell inside the control, now i promise you i didnt drop, tamper or anything to the control i mean 800$ spent imma treat it like a diamond! ill call tomorrow sucks cause i left town sunday night for work for the week. OH and to add this stores BAD 2 the BONE i love it. helpful peeps here...

We used to love this store but went there today and while one employee was busy fixing a small truck, the other employee was too busy being stoned out of his mind and chatting with his friend who came in to the store just to hangout. Tried to ask a few questions about something I was looking to purchase and he acted like I was inconveniencing him by interrupting him & his friend’s hangout session. Another customer asked a question as well and the employee couldn’t even bother to get up from his chair behind the counter to help out. Really disappointed.

Not very good customer service. They just happened to have a product I was interested in. Next time I will be shopping Amazon.

We went in for the first time the day before Christmas eve. Even though they were very busy took the time to help us make an informed decision. We have been back 3 times for more fun things. Nice guys who work there, it is obvious they have a good deal of knowledge regarding R/C cars and planes. Hobbytown USA has a good selection of paints-both enamels and acrylics, and they carry several different brand names-all of which are good. Heres the catch: Youd better know something about whatever it is youre looking for, because if you have questions about things are are not related to R/C issues, the staff arent really able to help you. They are, at least, honest about it, which I can appreciate. I guess it makes sense, as most of their business seems to come from R/C -related sales. My greatest concern is that the store discontinues selling paints and other model-related items; I can always go online, but it is nice having a store nearby that supplies what I need right when I need it.

Boats, Quads, Copters, Cars and Planes... One of the sales staff asked me if I needed any help and I told him I knew nothing.WOW! He opened up and told me his experiences and what he did and gave me good suggestions on what to buy in order to learn. I was very impressed as a possible customer with all the time and detail I was given. Love this place! I recently started getting in to RC Cars. Went there to pick one out and the staff was so helpful with choosing what i was looking for. When i crashed it and needed help figuring out what was wrong, the staff jumped to help me and it seemed like it was their passion to do so. They have definitely made a life long customer out of me. I will be going there for any hobby needs that i might have in the future. I have recommended the store to other people who have went there and had the same great experience as i have had there. Unsure about this place. It was oddly set up like some aisles had a barricade halfway through and you couldnt browse without going around. But the guys working were super nice.

This store is very small in size, however staff are active hobby enthusiasts which I can appreciate. I was pleased to be able to shop for my husband for the holidays here. They have a basic selection of model rail systems, and they have a fun assortment of other interesting gadgets as well.

Called from out of town for discontinued hard to find helion parts! Was my first time dealing with this store. The customer service was far above my expectations! First person took down my info “didn’t have to repeat myself five times”! Second person called me back to place order. Was a complicated transaction and went flawlessly! Nice that they have some parts,but more and more Im having to order what I need online. The guy behind the counter didnt seem to know what I need or care. But I found some of what I was after without his help.

Jeremy and Brian have always been really helpful each time I have visited the store. What they dont have, they can order in normally at no freight cost to me. I use them for most everything they stock that fits into my part of the hobby. I would like to see more covering and building supplies since the ARF and foam stuff isnt in line with what I like out of the hobby.I realize you cant be all things to all people and not many in the hobby gravitate to the same things I do. I am happy to support them with what they carry that fits my needs.They have been very helpful in keeping my sons helicopter running, at times even pulling parts off of the display model to get me going.

Jeremy and Brian are very helpful. They answer my questions and help me figure things out. Bill does good also. I only wish they had a little bit of CL stuff like Brodak has but the RC stuff is great.

Small model selection. They are well stocked for Remote control vehicles and other assorted RC kits. Almost out of Tamiya paints, well stocked for Vallejo paints.

Helpful staff and they have pretty much everything you need for a modeling/RC hobby.

Not the best selection. Most of the items can be found online for almost half the price. They dont carry anything Airsoft related, not even batteries of the appropriate size and configuration. They do however have a decent RC selection.

Receipts clearly state that opened yet resellable products can be returned within 15 days minus a 15% restocking fee. Attempted a similar return within 2 days since product was having connectivity issues. Couldnt reproduce the problem in store so was willing to forgo the 15%. Was told that the policy on the receipt was old and no longer effective and to contact the manufacturer for returns/repairs.Be wary when buying here. Even if you are handed their return policies in print, they still wont abide by them.

This is a great source for your hobby needs. I shop there for R/C Cars and parts. I have been purchasing items there for a number of years now.Jeremy is a stand-up guy and will make sure that you are happy with your purchase. When you deal with a business regularly, you will run into a problem or two. Thats life! Store is currently being remodeled l,however the staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable about their stock (models and rc vehicles of a higher grade) and even helped track drown a much needed part at another location. 5/5 will shop again.

These guys are great, from the first day I came in some time ago, new to the hobby and Im sure asking allot of questions they have heard a million times, helpful doesnt say enough. Brian was very helpful without being pushy at all, helping me to pick out a new truck without trying to sell me the whole store, even though in the frame of mind I was in he could have, I appreciated this,Now fast forward a year or so, Im back to buy another and my wife has caught the bug. The owner is an exceptionally mannered gentleman, and I witnessed one incident where I would have not had the patience that he so perfectly maintained. My hats off to the owner. And the shop and its senior personnel go out of their way to help people find what they need, and promote the hobby as well. Anyone who has a complaint about this store should be ashamed of himself. And a coward, since no name is included. And Brian is also a good person, as well as a very experienced RC person. Great place for various hobbies. There are things for Rc cars and trucks, model planes and cars, train sets and scenery materials, but what I went for was the new Vallejo paint materials that they just began carrying. So you dont need to go to amazon and hope that they have your paints in stock, you can just run over here and skip the delivery time and hassle.

I went there today to pick up a part for my boss.And i noticed was his poor attitude. So i ignored it, And i paid for the part.And i stood there waiting for him to give me my change.It was only 38 cents, I looked at some rc cars to give him a chance to say.oh im sorry, heres ur change .but nope.nothing.i just looked at him.And i walked out.its not about the money, its the integrity of it.The dishonesty of that kid.

The older gentleman that works here is rude and blatantlt ignores customers. I went in to buy a gift for my husband, gave a good morning to both the older and younger gentleman. The old man looked at me, didnt even say hello or ask if I needed help then went on to talking to the younger man. The younger man that works here is nice enough, but doesnt offer any customer service really.I have tried to like this store, but the employees treat customers as a burden. :(

Ok folks this is in reverse order so try to keep up. Ive left this as one star to get your attention and now I have it. So it looks to me like the owner would like to know how you veiw his store and more importantly it matters to him. He went above and beyond today after I shared my frustrations with him. And I dont mean like a kiss avala. Well not one of those. Even though this starts 2 yrs ago he looked at the items listens to my story and gave me replacements on some items off the condition they were in and refunded me on an item I had purchased last month . Now most of this stuff was so far out of warranty its not funny but he showed me today that not only dose customer service still exists but that it also will get repaid . As for I will tell this story many times before I doe I am sure of it. The day I was shown that small buisness is and can be great. And the prices appear to be better than Amazon anyway. Thanks again my boy is loving his new traxass stand corrected. Thank you for your ernest reply. And to anyone reading this take the time to read the whole thing. It has a good ending.I have an Erevo . I went in for a battery. They sold me the upgrade 2 batteries and the y adaptor. I ran the car maby twice and had issues. Granted I live an hr away. So next time I was in town I took the car in . Well they sold me a new remote and transmitter. After about 600 tries to bind the two I gave up. Next time I went that way I took it in. They said it was the vxl3 speed controll they sold me that I got maby 2 runs out of. Well if you want to talk to the owner good luck . I was informed that he has multiple businesses and trying to catch him would be by chance not schedual. By now there is no warranty on the upgrade. So it sits for another year while I cool off. The other day I went back in and bought another upgrade kit for the speed control I was told was bad. Went home and the same thing. So thanks hobby town jerks . It was exactly what I thought and assured otherwise . It was that cheap spectrum remote and recever you sold me. But Im sure there is nothing you can do about it once again even though Im right there in the computer and I even have the box it came in and obviously has 0 use just like the esc had 0 use . Well gess what ? Now the darn !! Batteries are so old they dont work either. Sticking your nose in the air isnt good customer service. Being a smart mouth isnt either. My son likes rc cars but if he didnt you would never see another penny from me . I cant stand zero customer service. Or at least help in the right direction. Get some better help if your not going to be there to keep your tellers from irritating the customers. Maby a genuine how can I help you. Not a hi what can I sell you that you might or might not need at a couple hundred bucks a visit to our lovely smart mouth establishment money pit that I know your gunna donate to today because theres nobody else around to be a jerk to you today sir. Well thats what I here anyway.
