First the purchase process. 14 months ago we bought a 24 Sunchaser Tritoon with a 225HP Merc. I think everyone knows this, but the pandemic made boat sales skyrocket and we found several dealers that were inflexible and a couple that were actually dishonest. We worked with Jerry and he had many, many boats in stock to choose from, gave us a fair price and GLYS even jumped though hoops to get the boat delivered to us on the Chain o Lakes per their commitment on Friday before the 4th of July holiday in 2020.Second is storage last winter. They completely resolved a couple minor warranty issues we had, completed the 100 hour service requirements flawlessly, and provided excellent heated indoor storage for us. Picking up the boat in October and dropping it back off in May. No trailer needed for me. No fuss no muss!Third is service. Just this past Sunday we had a failure out on the lake. Got some very kind folks to tow us back into harbor. Tuesday morning (most all marinas and boat dealers are closed on Mondays) I contacted my home marina to see if they could help me and as expected, they said they have a 3 week backlog. So yesterday morning I called Amy, she says oh yeah Steve can come out TODAY. He did, but there was a torrential downpour yesterday afternoon, so he came back this morning (Wednesday). Then by 10:45 AM this morning Amy calls me and says Yeah Steve fixed it, gave the motor a needed SW update, and fixed the driver seat. Ill save the details of the issue here, its not that important. What is important is the EXCELLENT, FAST, service coming out to me on Grass Lake to do the service call (as you know, these folks are in Kenosha). We are already back running and will be back on the water Saturday without missing a beat. Amy will be submitting the charges back to Smokercraft as the work should all be under warranty. I cannot say enough good things about all these folks at Great Lakes Yacht Sales. If there was a 6 star button, they would get it!
