I usually come here often for good deals on used guitars and amps, lowest prices Ive seen anywhere else. But I walked in today to buy an acoustic guitar and saw a sign saying that regardless of vaccination status you have to wear a mask. So I walked right back out the door. It irritates me than an already bogus policy is taken a step further . I will not be spending any money here until that ban is lifted just out of principle. Nothing personal to this establishment I will refuse entry to any other store that has this same ignorant policy.

Had a mostly nice experience. One of the team members made eye contact with me and then turned his back to me when I came up to the counter, which I found extremely off kilter. Then when I asked if he had a drum mount, he wouldnt come to the floor to help me look and said its somewhere on a rack but doesnt know if they actually had one. I feel bad because I had intensions of buying one along with a splash but received no service from him so I had to go to Guitar Center afterwards. Now, on the other hand, the other team member helping multiple customers at once, finally got back to me and was cheerful and quick. He even carried a pretty heavy amp out to my car as I had my little ones with me. That guy was great. If you get him, youll have a great experience.

Came in for a new tremelo bar and Anthony helped out a ton to help me find a new one that fits! Everyone at this shop is great!

Love this place. Great place for beginners or advanced. They are knowledgeable and will take the time to male sure you are taken care of.

Very disappointed with this place. Was super excited to find a double bass drumset I liked. Even though I had to pay $500 for shipping, I was willing to do it. I even called and spoke to someone who said it will ship out later on the week with new evans heads. Then today I recieved an email stating they canceled the order due to it was in store sale only.

Stopped in here to check it out as it has been a while. Found a few instruments that were priced very cheaply for what they are. They were very honest about instrument defects, having a tag on them calling out the issues. Also nice is that the sales folks were not pushy and didnt hover, so I was able to spend some time looking over the inventory.

This store is my #1 place to go for any music related purchases. They keep a well stocked store at all times. The gear they have is good quality and taken care of. They let you try anything out, pedals, instruments, amps, etc. Just yesterday i went there to see if i could find an epiphone les paul, and Danny and i think it was anthony went out of their way to talk to me about those types of guitars, and anthony i think it was went out of his freaking way to go into the back and let me try the les paul they were getting ready to ship to another store. That’s dope that he got that for me and put that trust into me. The staff that works here is phenomenal. I’ve never had a bad experience going there. The dudes have immense knowledge about everything there. They are some of the coolest dudes i’ve met, and the nicest. I’ve been a recurring customer there for like a year or two, and that won’t change. Keep it up homies! I’m glad you guys are here!

I came in here to purchase a quality microphone. I was greeted but the only available associate had chosen to help a guy who had just walked in instead of me ( I was in the store for about 10 minutes) so I left. My rating is for professionalism as something as simple as asking “May I help you with something?” Would’ve been just fine. I now have to provide business elsewhere because of it and it’s unfortunate because I really wanted that Microphone.

Playing make believe with phony mask requirement. Tell me, is there a difference when air is forced out the bottom, sides or higher in the air out the top of a mask than a casual release of breath forward while not obstructing your oxygen? Spent nearly $1000 a year ago and showed up with a $2500 dollar guitar ready to buy a new tube amp. But I guess treating people like dirty animals is good health policy now. As of this review, even based on admittedly contrived fatality numbers you are still 10x more likely to die in a car crash this year. Likely will not be back as a matter of principal, as I cannot support those that participate in the destruction of our society and country.

Found an on line listing for a bass cab I wanted and dropped them a note. Staff could not have been nicer or easier to work with. When I drove down to pick it up, they were super helpful and easy to work with. The selection there was downright impressive and it really had the feel of music stores from the 80s and 90s where staff were really into music and had pride in their jobs.Would recommend to anyone looking for music related gear.

Super friendly guys and gals, very helpful and attentive, the store offers fair prices with the option to trade. Probably one of the best music stores for used gear, however they sell new as well. Id say one of my favorite people to talk to there is Danny, he really knows his shiz. Never had a sour experience there.

Had saw a guitar at the store and an employee told me I had to wait to purchase it until they could open again. I was told today they sold it to someone else even though they told me I had to wait before I could purchase it. Very poor customer service. Will not be shopping here anymore.

Cant stress enough how helpful and friendly the staff are. And, they arent in your face - if you want to come in and browse, they let you do so without all the high pressure b.s. of some other stores. Highly recommended!

We bought our daughter a clarinet and one of the finger valves wasnt working properly. We brought it back and the guy said they would fix it for no charge, but it would take a week. Within a week, it was in perfect working condition. Didnt pull the buyer beware card, didnt ask us if we broke it, or charge us for the repair. Excellent customer service.

I have been a customer at the Kenosha locations (yes even the old one off Greenbay Rd) for years. I have purchased everything I needed for my complete rehearsal studio (complete drum sets, guitars, bass, amps, PA, mics, ETC). Conveniently located, great prices, knowledgeable staff. I have never sold them anything, but I do know with the price I pay for my gear here, I would be better off selling to an individual on my own. I would recommend to all looking for a good deal from people that are pretty knowledgeable.

How is this place in business? They insult you with their purchase price, yet you find the exact same item in the store for over 10x the price.Example: I looked at a used, very dirty item and asked whats the best price they can do. They stated price is not negotiable! I looked up this item and found it everywhere for less BRAND NEW!!! I went down the street to the music center and walked out with it brand new less than their dirty, used junk. Everything in that store is dirty and WAY OVERPRICED!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a used Gibson J-185 Rosewood that ended up being damaged in shipping. The store worked in getting the insurance refund from the shipper and issued a refund so I could have my local luthier replace the broken bezel on the electronics. Tristen was excellent, very flexible and very responsive in getting a resolution. I have been looking for this specific type J-185 guitar for quite some time and they really wanted to find a solution so I could keep the guitar as opposed to just “send it back and we will refund you”....great service. Would absolutely buy from them again.

A 15 year old dented up shure 58 microphone should not be $89 bucks when you can buy a brand new one for $99. Ask them to go down a bit with it and you will get the All our prices are firm spiel.If your walking in there for Guitar strings or picks or trinkets -- ok Fine - or sorta fair prices - ALL THE USED GEAR IS TREMENDOUSLY OVER PRICED!At least clean the used gear up before you sell it for almost dang new price. Horrible, I brought my guitar in to be setup, had to call back 6 times to finally talk to the tech who pretty much told me my guitar was crap, because he could not get it set up, and could not explain WHY he could not set it up either, and that he all ready spent too much time on it. Ok, so Id like to talk to the manager, hes not in, and no I can not set up an appt to see him. Horrible Tech, Horrible service.

BE WARY OF THIS STORE (Buying Online)I recently ordered a PEM-500 system from this store. It was used. I inquired as to what it came with and, among other things, I was ensured that it came with the case and that everything was in great condition.When I received the item the case did not have the factory foam (so the expensive electronics were just floating freely) and there was a very large hole in the side. So essentially the case ($30 to replace) was useless. I checked the packaging to ensure the missing plastic was not in the box, that it did not break on shipping.When I contacted on of the managers of the store he told me to file a complaint with UPS and that he did not know foam should be there. It is hard to believe he did not know foam should be there since he thought enough to wrap the foamless case in bubble wrap before shipping. I told him I did not want to talk to UPS since it clearly was not their fault and it would be wrong to ask them to pay for it, but he refused to help me beyond that.I even explained that I could get a new case for $30. If he could give me a partial refund or gift card for even half that cost I would be happy. But again he refused. He stated my only option was to send it back to them for a refund of the unit cost (which means I still have to pay $50 in shipping to and from and am left with nothing).I contacted the director of music go round, but since stores are independant, he has no say in the matter.The owner was not available to speak with.I am still hopeful for a resolution and will update my rating if there is one, but for now BE WARY of this shop. I feel I was, at the very least, misled into believing what I was purchasing was better quality than what it was.UPDATE:A different manager contacted me today and offered a full refund including shipping cost. However, I am unable to find a better deal elsewhere even with having to buy the case.Of course, cost of the product was never a complaint. It was being misled as to the quality of the product.I still would not recommend buying online from this store, but if you do, avoid taking their word for product quality. Ask for pictures or something...
