Nice casual local spot; very well decorated with a huge selection of coffees a bakery/baked goods. I had an English Toffee latte with an extra shot (always get an extra shot) and a cranberry orange scone. Certainly a treat to stop here.

Ended up getting a delicious chai latte as well as a maple scone and Bavarian cream horn. Not only was was the latte and treats delicious but the atmosphere was cozy and warm. The staff was incredibly friendly and took special care to make our order perfect. Will definitely swing through again if we ever get the chance!

Great coffee, cute interior and vibe. Would have loved to be able to plug in my laptop and wish they had coconut milk as a dairy alternative! Food smelled delicious.

The sandwiches we had were good and not skimpy. We also had delicious creme horns baked there. Friendly personnel and decent prices. The only complaint we had was the noise level. You could hardly hear across the table. Also,I would have preferred to have a waitress take our orders at the table.

Exceptionally good food and service. As far as my wife and I are concerned the best coffee drinks in Keokuk. The decor is pleasant as well and the place appears spotless every time we visit.

Stopped by a few weeks ago… excellent service, AMAZING French Vanilla Latte. Since then I’ve stopped by every time I’m in Keokuk & the experience hasn’t changed - well done!

If you are staying or passing through Keokuk you would be doing yourself a disservice to not stop by here. You cant go wrong with any of the food she makes and the coffee is great as well. I highly recommend a pumpkin bar.

Java River employees are also sweet and I appreciate that they remember my drink order:)They have curbside delivery available if you call in.they have great sandwiches, desserts, and home style food along with fun things like paninis.Plenty of alternative options like Gluten Free bread, alternatives milk (I like almond) smoothies etc.So thankful to have this spot!

Fun place for lunch or a morning coffee (or latte, espresso, etc.) in the morning. I find their pastries delicious (best scones ever) and their lunches are unique and very tasty.
