They built a large vinyl covered aluminum fence with beautiful gates for us. This was on wooded and rugged landscape and the job they did was excellent. The designer and the installation team were incredibly professional and skilled. We would call them again should we have the need for a fence.

We had used Diversified a few years ago to install cedar fencing in our backyard and was pleased with their work.We called on Diversified to replace an old section of fence with new cedar.Again very pleased with the entire experience. The office personnel and installation crew were all very friendly and professional.

I would put Danny Wilkerson up as Employee of the Year for his help with my fence repair. After waiting a good bit of time (process started in early April), I was told an estimate would be done but I never received it for review and approval. Mr. Wilkerson was dispatched on May 5 to make the repairs and I told him I had never even seen an estimate. Rather than rescheduling the repairs, he took the extra time to track the estimate down (which was no easy feat as it turned out), advised me right then of the repair costs, and then proceeded to take care of all the issues. Id say he went above and beyond the call and it is for HIS care and attention that I give the company a high rating. Thanks, Mr. Wilkerson!

Outstanding job! I am super pleased with my new fence. I needed a special install to get my truck in and out of the back yard. Others that came and looked at it quoted twice the costs and made the estimate so complicated. Diversified Fence arrived and finished quickly. The communication from estimate to installation to follow up has been a flawless experience.

We had our fence installed just a few days ago. I am absolutely in love with it. The crew did a fantastic job. They got it don’t very quickly. They made sure it was the correct layout. The only thing that concerned me was there was a piece of wood they used that looked like it was already partially rotted. The crew never told us they were finished and just left without saying a word. Which me and my husband thought was extremely odd.

We are thrilled with our new fence. Diego was extremely professional, a great communicator, and was meticulous with our fence construction. He even used a jig to make sure each picket was aligned perfectly before it was installed. He took great care with each and every portion of the installation. We could not be happier that we decided to go with Diversified. We would recommend this company to anyone!

Did a great job installing a vinyl privacy fence. Took them only half an hour to take down our old wood fencing. Unfortunately they had to work really hard to dig out post holes because our soil was very rocky, but they still got the entire fence up in only one day. Very hard workers. They returned the next morning to set up the double gate and haul away our old fencing and to clean up. They were also cheaper than any of the other fence companies we got quotes from. Very impressed and our fence looks great!

Hired Diversified in Dec. 2020 to install a simple wooden entry gate across my drive with an automatic gate opener. The gate was poorly constructed. Visually I could see that it was neither level nor plumb and the wood was second rate. They claimed this is industry standard, but what company aims to be average?The gate opener was another matter. Diversified couldnt seem to get it to work, even though they claimed to have installed tons of them and could troubleshoot and maintain the system once it was installed. I have dents and scratches on my car from where the gate has hit me, and I was unable to enter or exit the property on more occasions than I can count. I eventually stopped using the gate all together, and requested a refund.Diversified fought me every step of the way, even though at two months out they still couldnt get the system to work. Customer service is non-existent. No apologies forthcoming nor measures to make things right with me. I have contacted the BBB, FTC and States Attorneys Office because Diversified cannot see its way to do the right thing. My advice? Steer clear of them.

Diversified installed a partial privacy fence and they did a great job in a timely manner and guarantee their work. Weve waited a long time for this fence and it looks great. Cant wait to hang out on our back patio and not have to see our neighbors. Will recommend to family, friends and clients. Thank you!

Okay its been four months since installation. Being new to the area and living in a H.O.A. Neighborhood for the first time, we took a neighbors recommendation. I used a online price calculator and there pricing was more than fair. 400ft plus of fencing and three gates. The pictures say it all. Were Very Happy with the Outcome and the Total Process. Highly Recommend !

This has been a 2 year process with our fence project. Both times Jason was very professional and on the spot with his proposal, Linda was great to work with on our order with getting the product ordered and scheduling the install. The install was respectful and courteous and on top of their A game as installers.We enjoyed with with the Diversfield Team and we thank them for the quality workmanship of their products.

The team at Diversified was great to work with. They came back at half the cost of the other quotes I got. The team was friendly and informative. The process was quick, easy and my fence is beautiful! Id use them again in a heartbeat.

The company was not very helpful or forthcoming on working with me in placing the fence after giving them a copy of my survey, and owner was very unprofessional and threatening when I requested clarification on placement of my fence within the surveyed boundary of my property. For these reasons I would not recommend this vendor

Rarely get a call back. Not unusual for MOST businesses in NC. They get a sale, then anything else that is NOT revenue generating is put on the back burner. People are TOO LAID BACK!!!

NEVER use Diversified fencing! We recently bought a house with an electric gate that was installed and serviced by Diversified. The fence was broken and non-operational and part of our contract was for the seller to have the gate operational. The day before our closing Diversified fixed the gate and charged the seller $300. We went the next day to see our new house only to find NOTHING was fixed. We called Diversified and were told it was fixed. I stressed that I was standing in front of it and it absolutely did not work. The secretary took my name and number and said the technician Tony would call me. He never did. Both myself and my realtor called multiple times requesting Diversified fix the fence the charged the seller to fix. We were finally given Tonys cell and told to call him direct. Tony never answered or returned calls/texts. Finally the seller agreed to pay a different company to repair the fence. Upon inspection he found the battery was dead, the right side was hung 3 too low and dragged on the ground, the key pad was broken and not cemented into the ground. Diversified took $300 from an elderly woman and lied to her that they completed the service they charged her for then refused to actually fix the fence like they were paid to do or refund her money. They are dishonest, unprofessional thieves

They offered us a slightly lower price than the contractors recommended by Lowe’s and Home Depot. Their financing option was good (offered us 18 months no interest—I’m not sure if that’s their standard offer or a limited special, but it’s worth asking about). The work was completed in a timely manner and done neatly. The builders did accidentally cut my cable line (811 failed to mark it, so it wasn’t really their fault), but they let me know immediately so that I was able to contact the cable company to have it repaired (at no cost to me). Overall, we were happy with the job and would recommend the company.

Had Diversified build us a cedar, semi-private, scalloped fence, and they did a great job and did it in one day. They were friendly, professional and showed up when they said they would. They also reached out to us by phone when they had a question instead of assuming they knew what we wanted. Very pleased with Diversified and would definitely use them again.

Hands down, Diversified Fence Builders did a great job on my six foot privacy fence. Diego and his team were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. I received several quotes from different builders and Diversified Fence Builders was the best value. The only issue was the communication with the company. I would call and send emails with no response for several days.Overall, I would recommend this company to others.

Update: In response to the below comment, this was absolutely not the process we were told about. I stand by the conversations we had. Talking to a manager at the sales point is not the same as taking to a manager after to discuss the problem. I called multiple times and was told a manager would call me back, and they didnt. I never planned to leave the negative review but was hoping to work it out through good customer service. Unfortunately, that doesnt exist here. Thanks for the comment almost a year later though!I attempted to call and discuss our experience with a manager, but I did not receive a call back. We were very happy with our initial consult with Diversified Fence. They were able to come out very quickly and give us a quote. The quote was less than what other companies gave us, and they thought they could get the work done within two weeks. We were very pleased and decided to move forward. I called to schedule and was asked to make a deposit. I went ahead and paid in full because I thought that would be easier. I was told someone would reach out to me to schedule. After several days I hadnt received a call so I call and asked about this. I was told their scheduling meeting was the next day, and I would know then. I was given some tentative dates. A few more days went by and still nothing. It was a holiday so I let the holiday pass and called back. I was once again told that they hadnt had their scheduling meeting for that week and would hear from someone after that. We finally did get confirmation of when the fence would be built, and it was more than two weeks from when all of this started. The guys who came to build our fence left stickers on the bottoms of all of the pieces of wood, left trash all over our driveway, front yard, and back yard, and did not cut all of the posts to be the same size. I called in because I wanted to handle this with management, but I didnt hear back from them. While they may give you a little discount over others, the lack of professionalism isnt worth it.

Awesome people to do business with. Within 2 days of calling to get initial information Tony came to our house to give us a quote. After agreeing to move forward the fence was installed 8 days later and installation was quick and easy. The guys who installed the fence were careful not to disturb the landscaping and after they finished made sure they had picked up any and all trash.I cannot recommend Diversified Fence Builders enough, they are great people who do a great job.

I have used Diversified for both personal use and commercial use. First I had Diversified install a long white picket fence at my personal property. They showed up on time. They did the installation well. And I have had no problems since then. Because things went so well I asked them to quote a large project at a commercial property in Virginia. Their price again was better than all the competition. The installation was a bit tricky. They managed through all of the details. From start to finish, including washing off the debris and dust from the parking lot, they did an excellent job. After that, I had to call them to repair some damage that a guest had caused. They promptly traveled to the property again, and Did the repair. Not only that, they left a few extra pieces in case it ever happened again. If I ever need fencing again, I will definitely call Diversified.

Ridiculous...I called in to request an inspector to come out and give me a price on a 12 foot tall privacy fence for 7 acres of land at a commercial site. I was told that I would have to go to their website request what I was looking for, get a quote and then someone would call me to schedule. It may seem petty, but why should I have to do all of this just to schedule for someone to come out? Im not a fence expert so how can I possibly tell you online what I need. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We just moved into a new home and had Diversified Fence install a simple chain link fence to keep our dog in the yard. Hands down, they did a wonderful job!I was referred to them by a surveyor friend of mine and I went with them since they were referred to me. Ive had nothing but lovely conversations with Linda and Lori to help schedule the estimate, scheduling, install, and follow up.They responded to me in a very timely fashion every time I contacted them and their team did a wonderful job with our fence installation.Im giving them 4 out of 5 stars simply because their installers didnt communicate with me very well and they placed the fence doors in the incorrect locations. However, I called the office right away and the crew was out fixing the job the very next morning. When the installers came, they started the job without going over the specifics with me and once they were finished, they left without me reviewing the job before they left. We had planned for a double door on the side yard so our landscaper could get into the yard with their lawn equipment and they put a single door in place instead. It was an easy fix and was not a pain to correct at all.The team was pleasant with me throughout the entire process, their prices were very reasonable, and their work was exceptional.

RDU is notorious for terrible contractors. To the contrary, Diversified provided timely and professional work that I expect when paying for a service. They are responsive, explain the process and options for fencing legibly and in a manner accepted by HOAs, and return phone calls (which shouldnt be a special, but around here it is.) If you want it done right with peace of mind, call them.

Diversified team is very professional to work with and get a the job done. They were very responsive to my request to install an additional section for symmetry and they obliged with great speed. There were delays in getting the fence installed but mostly related to Covid situation and not a fault of Diversified.

They did a good job on the fence. However the installers moved the fence about 8-10 inches away from where the original fence was. They put the new fence directly on top of 4 of the heads on our sprinkler system. On top of this they put a shovel through one of the lines as well. We spend about $450 to have our guy come out and redo the system where they messed it up. Diversified is refusing to pay the bill. I own a service company and if we happen to make a mistake like this we will do whatever is necessary to make it right.

We contacted Diversified Fence after a referral from our builder to have an aluminum fence installed on our property. This was the third fence company we made contact with and the first to be punctual and eager to please. John responded quickly and presented options and prices which were appealing and reasonable. Our fence is beautiful. John was easy to reach during the entire process. He ordered, delivered, and supervised installation. My wife and I are very particular about the people we choose to work at our home and were delighted that the crew was respectful of our property and flowers. They worked in spite of a particularly rainy season and had our fence up within a day. John came by once again the day after completion to inspect the work and be assured that we were pleased. He and his crew went the extra mile to complete an excellent installation. We recommend John and Diversified Fence to everyone and will use them again without reservation.

Called to make an urgent order for posts for a job site where my Techs were located. I had my card fail and tried to use another card, and the owner claimed he wouldn’t accept and demanded my guys bring cash. My Techs don’t pay for their materials, the company does. I’m 3 hours away, I’m not about to bring cash because you can’t accept my card. I’ll go elsewhere

I agree...would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy...I would give zero stars but it looks good at least. I got a fence installed for nothing! Wont even keep my dogs in and clearly thats why i got the fence!! Just had to get my dog out of jail! Should have just went with the cheaper company SMH

I did an online request for a quote on their website and scheduled an appointment for one week out. I received a call the day of the appointment with numerous questions regarding the project and was also asked to send pictures- That was the reason I requested the quote, for someone to come out and discuss all of this with me in person. I was told he would not be able to make the appointment due to problems with another job. I was made to believe that the person would call me and come out the following day, however I have never heard back from them. This seems like a poor way to conduct business. I would not trust them to take on an important project for me based on this initial impression.

Horrible no call back after coming out for a quote! If you didn’t want to do the job just say right then and there that your not interested. Maybe they didn’t like the fact that a female was in charge of the job! Idk but I would definitely not recommend them to any of my colleagues in the area.

They didn’t even build the fence like they said they were going to and how they measured it out. I’m am going to try to get them to fix it, but we will see how that goes.Very displeased.Update(2 years later): owner replied. Said that my husband said things that he didn’t. We could have gotten the fence fixed but they were going to charge us for it. Even though they drew their drawing and dimensions incorrectly. I was with the guy who measured it out and the dimensions on their drawing was completely incorrect and not correctly shaped. They were short with us about the issue while it was occurring and made for a bad experience overall.

We have hired Diversified Fence Builders to install 2 fences for us and have had nothing but positive experiences with both installations. They have installed both an aluminum fence for us at our main home as well as a wooden farm style fence at a rental property. We found that their pricing was more than fair, they use high quality materials - made in the USA, and their customer service and workmanship was superb.

We had an issue with how our gate was hung. After several calls we finally got a repair man out to the house to look at things. We now have a gate that still does not hang properly and has nails sticking out at miscellaneous places and looks absolutely horrible. The work was haphazard and unprofessional. We had been impressed with the original installation but the follow through on this repair is not at the standard we had expected from Diversified. I wish I was able to upload photos of the work that was completed here this week. If this is the stndard of service I would not use them in the future nor refer them to a friend.

After paying 3,800 for chain link fence this is what Im left with.Terrible installation, fence gates that dont line up end post that are loose, dry packing end posts leaving cut pieces of chain link causing injury to animals in my care. Removal of 75 feet of fence they were told not to touch, when they removed fencing they broke off post instead of digging them out which I had to do because it created a hazard that can and did injure feet of dogs. I will never call this company ever again. Sorry Im completely unsatisfied with Diversified Fencing Co. and John Folsom. The morning of this install he was on his way to a vacation leaving unsupervised employees on my property to do this install. Original Fence completed as new construction. 2 vinyl doors never closed properly...I have to lean into it to close it. Recently I called to have a second gate installed along the aluminum gate portion of the fenceIt took 2 weeks to get back to me, after several calls from meTheir quote for one gate was 3x what they quoted the builder.
