Brooks was very professional and thorough when talking about the truck with me. Coming from over 1000 miles to buy a Raptor out of state can be quite stressful, especially wondering about the truck and the condition of it when I arrive at the dealership. On the way home to Brazoria from Sonora my husband’s 2010 truck literally died. We limped into the service bay pulling a travel trailer with no power. The service man was out with his computer in 2 minutes. The problem was something electrical and obviously not an easy fix. My husband had been looking for a new truck for sometime and had a list WITH HIM of what he wanted in a truck. Within 30 minutes Eric Schwartz had found him just the perfect truck with a few cool options he didn’t know he wanted. The dealership had no problem letting us park our travel trailer in the back and treating our big dog like their own. Eric helped us unload and reload all our stuff we we’re bringing back from deer camp. We were so blessed to have broken down in Kerrville and having met a really great guy who was more of a friend than a sales man. Than you so much.

Big time happy with our purchase at Ken Stopped Ford.. Trying to buy a truck in todays market should be avoided if at all possible due to supply and demand issues...but...if you gotta or you wanna...I can highly recommend Ken Stoepel Ford in Kerrville, Texas. Zach, their internet sales guy has the inventory up to date and knows status on inbound stock, Michael in finance does his job well and is a straightforward pro. Charlie Alexander, our salesman, was dogged in getting the sale done on both the company and our end. Most places today, the sales and backroom staff sit back and expect a sale and if something is amiss, well, theres the next customer. Charlie ran down The truck we came to see, fixed a glitch in a customer hold, had all the paperwork done and we had our sale done in under 3 hours. Picking up the truck the next day, Charlie had everything ready to go like a professional salesperson does. Bottom line, Id send my Mom and my kids to work with Charlie and the crew at Ken Stoeple Ford and wouldnt feel the need to go with them.
The following is a list of steps taken so far, for a known problem, that still has not been resolved 38 days later. Ken Stoepel Ford referred to as KSF from this point forward.Aug. 30th 8:30 am - 2018 F150 was dropped off at KSF to address rattle on start up. A known issue on Eco Boost engines. Made a special point to make sure they had correct phone # as this is a company vehicle and KSF has had problems calling the correct number for our company vehicles for over a decade. I harp on KSF having the correct number because (as I have explained to KSF every time I bring a vehicle to them) I greatly value being kept in the loop about the status of my vehicles so I can work around not having my work vehicle.Aug. 30th 4:18 pm - Received courtesy text from KSF at correct number.Sept. 1st 10:44 am - Returned call to KSF after they called wrong number to inform me of what they had found. I was told my number had not been saved in their system despite receiving courtesy text 2 days prior. I instructed KSF to proceed with repairs.Sept. 9th 10:23 am - I called for an update on my work truck as I had heard nothing from KSF for over a week. I was told they needed extra permission to remove valve cover and possibly remove cab to inspect for extra damage to the engine. Again, I instructed KSF to proceed with repairs.Sept. 16th 10:10 am - I called KSF again as I had heard nothing about my truck since my call on the 9th. I was informed in the last 4 days a member of their team had contracted covid and the service department had been closed for safety. I fully understand and respect this decision, however, I was never notified that my work truck would be sitting idle for 2 weeks. Again, KSF failed to keep me in the loop about my vehicle. The person I spoke with on the phone said they would have someone from the service department contact me, that day, to access my truck so I could retrieve tools I needed to work.Sept. 16 3:54 pm - I called KSF again as I had still not heard back from the service department.Sept. 16th 4:27 pm - Finally received call back from KSF. Was told I could pick up vehicle and would receive a call to reschedule.Sept. 17th 10:07 am - Picked up truck and drove 3 blocks to where I work. Popped the hood to see if I could see any evidence of work and was met with a light coating of dust covering the entire engine bay. No handprints, tool marks, wiped areas, nothing. absolutely nothing to indicate that any work or inspection of parts had occurred at all.Sept 28th 3:25 pm - Called KSF and left message to inquire about new appointment.Sept. 28th 4:14 pm - Received call back from service manager telling me it would be 2 or 3 more days for his entire crew to get back from being in isolation and I would receive a call then.Oct 7th 11:12 am - As I write this review, I have yet to hear back from KSF regarding a pickup that was originally scheduled to start repairs over 38 days ago. At this point not a single screw has been turned. Despite repeated requests to be kept informed on the status of my work vehicle KSF has failed to call me a single time without me calling first and having to leave a message. For the cost of these vehicles, I absolutely expect better service than what has been provided. Even basic requests to be kept informed have been ignored. All I can assume is that KSF is in hopes I will exceed my warrantee mileage while waiting to be called back so they can charge me for the repairs of a known issue, to a vehicle which was purchased, and had all scheduled maintenance preformed at KSF.I highly recommend staying away from Ken Stoepel Ford. The service is abysmal to say the least.

Been to both fast lane and regular service, they actually go out of their way to make the customer happy. Repairs on my truck were quick and didnt charge me for anything extra, bill in both cases came out less. To top it off shopping right there while you wait, or huge park with dog park right next door.

These people claim to discount a vehicle cost, then add thousands of dollars for warranties that are useless, and insurance that doesnt pay off when you file a claim. GAP insurance is a farce and the company will not stand behind it. I paid for the GAP insurance and then when insurance totaled my vehicle, it was MY insurance and the salvage that was required to pay off the loan. Basically, a $20,000.00 car was acquired for $6,320.56.I had asked the salesman what this car would be worth if it was totalled and I was told it would be worth what I was paying, so I went through with the purchase. I gave the service department my business for the first three months, but they were so rude and condescending when I brought my vehicle in, that I decided to use another company closer to home.
Great people here. I did not buy from them but I wish I did. So friendly and they worked really hard to find me what I wanted. It just didnt work out. Maybe next time!

I had a key that now & then wouldnt start auto(worn). I asked if they could make another from it with ford code for key. That was a waste of time. I found a good key on the 3rd day & had them make another one from it, (Worked). Altogether=3-4hrs x3 days + $105 (expensive keys) Nice people.

I was in the market for a 1 ton truck to pull our 5th wheel with. Id been searching the internet for several weeks and eventually saw a beautiful one at Ken Stoepel. Being that I live in the Dallas area and the dealership is in the San Antonio area, all negotiations had to be completed over the phone. Once we agreed on a price, I bought an airline ticket and flew down there. Danny Flores (my salesman) drove out to the airport to pick me up. You have to have some level of confidence to by an expensive truck online and then buy a 1way ticket to pick it up. If its not as advertised, I would have been stuck. This truck was everything it was advertised to be. My buying experience with this dealership was excellent. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a car/truck.

I was caught by surprise when my truck started to misfire in the middle of a cross-country trip to get to flight school, whilst towing a 7000lbs travel trailer. Boy was I lucky to have stumbled upon this dealer and their Assistant Service Manager David (I think that was his name). I was greeted with a smile and a genuine interest to help. David quickly got my F-150 in the queue and their techs got my misfire taken care of quickly. I am so grateful for their much needed help and kindness. I am happy to say that I reached my destination safely and on time. I highly recommend this group of friendly professionals!

Bought a new truck at Ken Stoepel Ford this month and was very happy with the experience. Did my research online, service rep Eric Schwarz had the truck ready for test drive when I arrived at the dealership. He offered information and provided information without hovering or pressuring. Matt Duran in finance handled the purchase paperwork efficiently and in record time. Follow up phone calls and emails to see if all was well. Forty years of driving, eight vehicles purchased, this was the best car-buying experience Ive ever had.

I inquired about a 2008 GMC Canyon earlier this week, but unfortunately was told someone had already had a pending offer on it. But I mentioned to them to please give me a call back, whatever day, If that deal didn’t go through. Low and behold, I received information a few days after that the offer fell through and I immediately told Art, mark it as sold! Arriving to the dealership ready to make a paid in full purchase, Art and manager Tom were happy to help, and made the process THEE most painless vehicle purchase I’ve been through (I paid in full for my 2020 wrx and it took almost 4x the time to get me out the door.) Brought in my 2020 vehicle for service related to sub/speaker issues. A number of issues occurred over the 2 months it took to still not resolve the issue. However, the last straw was noticing a dent made at the back passenger area. The dent extends outward, made from the inside of the vehicle. Not only have the issues not been resolved - despite being told on numerous occasions that all issues were resolved - now my vehicle has been dented. I am not sure if the individual(s) working on the vehicle were aware they made the dent, but it certainly wasnt brought to my attention by anyone on staff. I dont trust the dealership anymore, so there is no point in returning to see if my original complaint could eventually be resolved. Or returning at all, for that matter.

Love this place! I would recommend to family and friends. I took my vehicle to other places for service before I discovered this place. You don’t need to buy a car or truck from the dealership to bring it to the Quick Lane for new tires, break work, oil changes or inspections. The prices are good, they are fast and really nice guys! Most of all, I love the free snacks!

Eric and Juan were great. I wasnt pressured to buy anything. Just had a casual conversation with Erik while killing time while my moms car was in service. Looked at a couple of vehicles when I came across a 2019 F150. Almost had to put a leash on Erik to get him to help me check it out. Wound up driving it off the lot the next day. Juan worked tirelessly to get the approval, even after the lenders went home fore the night.(bankers sheesh) One week later, Im totally in love with my new truck. My family is from Oklahoma and we had an exceptional experience. From the first contact I had with Gary Washington to delivery of our vehicle was absolutely flawless. Gary was nice enough to drive our vehicle to a local car mechanic for a pre-inspection that we really appreciated. I called Gary on a Monday morning and we took delivery of our vehicle by Thursday afternoon. I highly recommend these guys and would do business again with them in a heartbeat!
