Came here with the expectation of buying a desk. Only to find out when I got here it was the display model listed on the website as the one for sale. Maybe you should let people know before wasting their time that the 1 item listed on the website is a display model only. Thanks for the time waster. For being a multi million dollar corporation it shouldn’t be too hard to update your website. It’s also too bad we can’t charge you for time wasted because of your own incompetence within your corporation. I feel good knowing I will tell everyone not to shop here and to shop small business instead of these large corporations that care nothing about their customers or customer service for that matter. It was small business that built America not greedy corporations.

Great place for your business needs, I get my cards here and will soon start using their other services for signs and various other business advertising.

So, imagine this nightmare. We waited for a couple of hours yesterday to get our second covid shot. Today I heard that some office supply places would laminate the cards for free. My wife took our cards. They were laminated and now you can not read the name and address label on the cards. The office max solution was for us to go back to San Antonio to get new cards. Why on earth did they do the lamination ;in the first place? It looks like another drive to San Antonio and another two hour wait. Thanks Office Max.

The roof was pretty high up and the ac worked fine. they had some computer stuff and the paper stuff was cool too. I think they can even print things for you. 5/5 would come again

Very rude person behind counter of printing. Didnt want to look for items I had printed. Didnt want to check me out didnt give me a chance to say prints were fine or not.

I’ve printed things here multiple times every time has been great except for the 2 times I’ve gotten I think her name is Victoria dark hair in ponytail with glasses. Horrible customer service (with me) the first time I came in to get some labels printed which I had already gotten them printed before just needed to add a link on it which pic was already saved in their computer she told me it’d be a few hours... I told her that I had done it before and it take 5 or 10 minutes at most the other employees never had issues doing it right then. She insisted she had other projects to get done before mine and she’d call me or email when it was done for proofs I believe I didn’t hear from her till the next day or right before closing...It only takes 5-10 minutes to do! She didn’t get it done till days later which when I finally picked it up someone else working gave them for free because they saw how long it took. Now today I get her again which mind you I’ve been in since then with no problems everyone else is super helpful but today I even emailed my order what I wanted done, then called and asked if it could be printed. She said “normally you need to come in and we’ll print it, oh yes I see the email right here” I told her ok I’ll be in 10 minutes I get there she said sorry I don’t have it done but I downloaded the images. I said oh that’s ok, waiting there. Then she’s like oh well I don’t know what kind of paper you want this on and I said regular sticker label paper. She’s looking at the computer and someone walks over to the printing and she tells me oh well this is going to take a few hours till I can get this done. And proceeds to help another customer when she could have just helped me and gotten it done! I said “I called and you said to come in and that you’d print it” she said “well I didn’t look at what it was I thought it was just a black and white copy”. I said it literally takes 5-10 minutes I’ve come in here multiple times and had this done with no problems. She continued to make excuses and said that “she’s got 6 or 7 other projects ahead of mine.” My order wasn’t huge let alone something to be considered a project it was printing 4 sheets of labels! I finally got annoyed by her bs excuses for not wanting to help me and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was amazing as always and has helped ringing me up or made copies for me or helped me find something, always excellent customer service. He asked me what I needed and did it no problem in 10 minutes and even gave them for free. I felt bad because he was in the middle of something and had to stop because Victoria can’t do her job right. I’ll be going in again tomorrow because I didn’t get 1 thing I really needed to do so we’ll see. I know if any other person than her is working they will be very helpful to me!

The assistant manager, helped me. I tried out their brochure printing program from my home computer. It was confusing to me. When the little cookbook came back from being printed, my errors showed. But Mike replaced my projects with better copies at no extra cost and Alex in the print shop was also nice. They showed a real desire to get customer satisfaction.

Service in the print department has changed dramatically since my last review two years ago. Great service! One lady in particular seems to be the catalyst for the change. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and works hard to make sure everyone in line knows they have been noticed and will be helped ASAP. I’m not good with names, but wish I had taken hers down. I hope her supervisors know that she puts a genuine effort into her job and has improved this branch considerably.

Office Max has everything you need for an office, but their supplies are very expensive. There are very few people who could afford to shop here for school supplies. It is a good place to buy specialty supplies that are hard to find. You can get good deals on computers and software. The service department is very good and personnel are friendly in all departments.

This is a very convenient location and some of their weekly deals put them on par with Amazon prices. The staff is always friendly. Do not need them for computer repair as I do it myself, so cannot speak to that side of the store.

Brittany at the Services desk is beyond excellent in her abilities, good sense, and super customer service!I threw a confusing problem at her and she totally solved it on the spot. Then she went a step beyond and made it all even better.Our urgent needs were met for an upcoming memorial service.Thank you Brittany, and thank you OfficeMax for employing great people like her!

This store is VERY clean and well organized! I had no trouble finding everything I needed, and the cashier was very helpful and courteous. 10/10 will shop there again.

Very helpful staff. The shop is big and clean, well organized, and the staff seem to have an intimate knowledge of where everything is. The printing section still has a few glitches to iron out, but theyre friendly and helpful as they can be.

When my computer crashed and I didnt know what to do, the staff in the tech center brought peace to my frazelled mind and had me up and running again in no time with no files lost. Truly Amazed and Thankful for their kind and caring service.

Im not too sure if these folks are under-trained and under-staffed, or what. Its like they WANT to help, but dont know how. Or maybe Im reading it all wrong and this person really didnt know a Toner Cartridge from a Drum. Either way, they should have been able to match the picture on the box with the cartridge in his hand. Another 1/2 day of work lost because I had to go back to the store and make the exchange. Thanks guys, yall really rock!!!

Great selection of home/office/school supplies. Prices are somewhat high but they have good sales for rewards members.

I had a great experience the uninterrupted attention of salesman, that answered all my questions the staff that was able to assist to my needs and then they even helped me out with my merchandise. If I couldnt find it they was on top of it doing a lot of the walking for me. Will definately do all my office shopping there.

My husband and I visited Office Max to see what they had for laptop computers. Jose (who I believe is the store manager now) was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! Even bought a computer from him, rather than ordering online (like we had planned). They also had a good sale through today, so saved $220! Couldnt be happier with our experience. So ... maybe things have turned around. Give them another try, folks.

Ordered some posters to print online and had to reach out about my order. Turns out the 2 days it would take to complete would take around 10 business days. They did not have the ability to fill the order. The only notification was an email or call back - when I tried to call back I was hung up on and placed on hold for 10 min. Reached out thru the website chat, which took 20 min to figure out that this process would be more than 14 regular days to be completed. I do not understand why I was not notified sooner! Why offer products and accept money that can not be completed or without a disclaimer?

The people were helpful and nice but not nice enough to make me want to pay $10 for four things of sticky tabs that I could get at Walmart for $2.... Sorry ...

I called to ask a question about Fed Ex. The phone was answered after 4 or 5 rings by someone who didnt now the answer to my question and put me on hold. I was on hold for 8.5 minutes before I gave up. I called right back to try again and no one ever answered the phone. I gave up after 6 or 8 rings and called someone else. Bad customer service!

A great 1-stop shop for all things office!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The quality of service in the print department is utter garbage. I took a planner in today to be spiral bound. I brought the pages in lined up and squared and the finished product is going in the trash. I asked the girl to fix it by trimming the outside edges and she was incapable of cutting in a straight line. She was using a paper cutter!!!!! Its not rocket science, people. The most amazing part was how she had no shame whatsoever handing subpar product over to a customer.I am not a fan of giving people bad reviews, but people need to be warned about this place. If you need something done well, dont go to Office Max in Kerrville.

Every time I go in here the staff acts like theyve never seen me. Ive been in and worked personally with all of the full time staff on flyers and posters. Still they act like they are learning how to do stuff each time we go in for the same as the last time. Very unprofessional, seemingly hating their jobs.

Bought a computer for a customer that had a bad hard drive out of the box, tired to take it back and they did almost everything they could to not help me. I even brought in the receipt and they told me it was outside the return period even though I still had one day left. Extremely unhelpful and apparently not great at reading things.

Had to send a important fax, went there, woman running that section was very rude, worked hard at not working

Slow service, got charged .26 for a picture printed on plain paper the other day, it was $6.92 for 9 exactly same sized prints today.

Snotty, dismissive staff. Difficult to get tech support once the product leaves the store.
