I was in town for the day and stopped by for a tournament to burn a few hours. I had a great time and the staff was friendly and ran the event very efficiently. The store is clean and well organized with great prices and very helpful and knowledgeable staff.After only a little bit I was conversing with the regulars and didn’t feel shunned or ignored like I have felt at other stores when I visit.Overall a 10 out of 10 experience and I’ll be sure to stop by the next time I’m in Kerrville.

D&D, MTG, Pokemon Tcg, Warhammer, and everything in between. Heart of the Cards has it. Having a spacious play area for pickup games and scheduled events. The owner Pual and his team are super knowledgeable and some of the best people in the community.

The owner is a great guy and has cultivated a fun and welcoming environment for people to enjoy a large variety of hobbies, and has done his best to make sure that even during Covid the store has new releases and a wide variety of singles. I cannot reccomend coming here enough.

Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff. Anyone wanting to learn how to play table top games and trading card games (Magic, Yugioh, Final Fantasy, Pokemon) board games are welcome to come by and learn. If you have experience there is always someone available to play.

I always love going to Heart of the Cards shop. The atmosphere is filled with fun and laughter. Owners, Paul, Lauren, and Sean are so welcoming and friendly! Its a fun place to hang out.

Very friendly, new management so much cleaner and more organized. Needs more merch but there is space for gaming which is good. Small size of space is the only issue.

Good first time experience with the culture. helpful friendly staff who want nothing more than to welcome people into the scene. I go once a week for the events that they host. they even offer freebie packs to help players get started with decks, builds, ect. no elitism, toxicity, ect. presentation is good. Theyre up to date and good to go.

This store is under new management, and ownership. Paul and lauren both have plenty of gaming knowledge both digital and physical. The store is well stocked and they will help you find what you are looking for. They are setting up an online store as well, but you should certainly visit the store. It was designed for gamers by gamers. I helped on the renevation crew made up of many other community gamers that wanted a welcoming environment for our nerding culture. If this is what you want, look no further.
