Like any family dollar everything but what u went there for...

I love this store. The employees have always been friendly and helpful to me and my family. We go to the laundromat next door every week and walk around in here while waiting on the clothes to get done. They have good seasonal selections, cleaning supplies, home goods and decorations, snacks and mostly non-perishable groceries so its a great place to find supplies for hurricane preparedness. Their pet area has a small selection of foods and toys, but theyre usually cheaper than Winn-Dixie or Publix. They usually carry the soaps and shampoos my husband loves too. Everything already has excellent prices, but they also have an app which can offer store coupons and manufacturers coupons! At the checkout, you punch in your phone number and it electronically sends all your clipped coupons to the receipt, no papers, no snipping. Just good deals.

Always have what I need and the staff is very accomidating.

For a Family Dollar its in good shape, and keeps it shelfs stocked. Also convenient for a quick dash when you dont want to hassle with the crowds at the malls.

Good variety of things... But when it comes to pay, you have Tobe very patient..most of the time I is only one cashier... If you are in a hurry you will be frustrated.

Prices seem ok. Always feel like Im in a third world country when I go there. Nobody speaks English and its generally a mess.

After many years shopping in this store, I have never been treated so badly like today. Family Dollar in key West has holidays hours which says open at 8am, I even checked online and it says 8am. So after waiting hour up front of the store and letting manager know that their hours says 8am, he started arguing with me and keep saying no. Then he smoke cigarette and even it was already 9am he locked the door right up front of me 😲😲😲 I couldnt believe my eyes. Im 8month pregnant and it takes me 20 min to walk to this store, which I go to pretty much every day, so do the math 20 min get there, hour of waiting and 20 min get back home. Thats nearly 2 hours waist of my time, being treated horribly, kicked out and walk home with none of the stuff I was going to buy. I will be writing complain to everywhere where I can to make sure this new manager gets fired.

THIS WAS THE WORST FAMILY DOLLAR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! Im active duty and the nex was closed so I decided to stop here to get my toddler medicine and wipes. Upon checking out, there was a man in front of me who needed to exchange socks, there was also a line behind me. We waited in line for about 5minutes and I called out is there a cashier? From around the corner comes a young lady huffing and puffing saying yea yea yea at this point Im thinking she will apologize to the customers but she did NOT she badgered the man who needed to exchange socks demanding that he show her a receipt and as he was getting it told him to moveover to the other lane. When it was my turn to check out, Ariana the cashier was rolling her eyes and scanning and talking noise the whole time I just stared at her, waiting for her to check her attitude. When she didnt I asked her for her name and she very rudely demanded why? I told her because she was rude and needed to work on her customer service skills and she told me I was rude and to have a nice day! At this point Im completely baffled by this so I ask for her manager, it just so happened that the cashier working with the sock man turns around and says yea Im the manager what you mean she rude? I then asked her name and she told me WHY YOU ASKING after telling me I was rude for asking their names and telling them that I would speak to someone above them, they both cattely told me how rude I was for asking them who they were and I needed to check my attitude Maybe if I was in my uniform they would have shown a bit more respect, Ive been in Key West over a year and have NEVER ran into these kind of people in retail!!! I will be headed to the store in the day to file a proper complaint.

Totally awesome the women that work there are hotties

Manager is rude. There was a long line and he stood and talked to the cashier, which was slowing her down. When he should have opened another register. Another day the Manager was working the register. An elderly lady asked for her receipt, and he said the receipt printer wasnt working, she asked how much the transaction was and he said I dont know its gone and gestured her to move on.
