Matt and his team are honest, on time and knowledgeable. Had me back up and running within hours when all others couldnt.
We had an unplanned stop in Key West due to a couple of issues with out boat (one making it undrivable). After making multiple calls to other mechanics, Matt was the first to respond, and communication since has been great, especially because we had to travel out of state for work. The boat is still in their hands, but so far the experience with them has been top notch and professional.
A quality outfit I can call upon as a local business owner. Matt and the folks at Mobile Marine Key West are the best boat services here . Mobile Marine Key West is my go to for quality mechanical work. With years of experience and a large crew they deliver a consistent quality product you can count on.
The team at mobile marine repair services were a tremendous help. Very understanding and got things done quickly because we were in a hurry. Highly recommend
Very professional and experienced team! I was experiencing malfunctioning gauges with my boat. They took the boat into their expertise and completed the repair task seamlessly.
I called Mobile Marine for a few simple repairs on my boat . After telling them what repairs we needed done I called them to get and estimate . They could not give me estimate but they told me that they charge 125.00 hr . I thought it should not take them more then 3 hours to clean contacts on my lights, screw back in a fishing seat and replace brackets ( that I provided for them) on my Bimini top . A few days later I received an invoice for $900.00 . They our professional and work on a timely manner however I would never use them aging as I feel they are way over priced .
My boat’s engine stopped working suddenly. I called upon the team of Mobile Marine Repair Services and its team reached out to me within minutes. Highly impressed by their services.
Mobile Marine Repair Services was recommended by the Marina where my boat was docked in Key West. He came to my boat and misdiagnosed the vibration in my driveline several times and only got it right after I investigated personally. Said he didn’t know what he could do for me but said he would try to locate the damaged part. He charged me $100 for the diagnosis. He eventually found the right part after contacting him several times. He told me it would be a “couple of days” but turned out to be almost a week, meanwhile we were stranded and stayed on a distant mooring ball for 6 nights When the part did finally arrive, he couldn’t, or wouldn’t, install it. I had to meet him at a restaurant to pick up the part that was a half hour dinghy ride away. We waited outside the restaurant for 30 minutes, only to realize that he had been inside the entire time. He explained to me how to install the part myself, but didn’t offer to actually do the work. We had to motor for four days home on one engine to have the part installed by a competent mechanic at my home port in about an hour with zero issues or excuses. This mechanic only seems concerned with collecting money and not actually fixing the problem. Not recommended.
The guys at mobile marine repair services were really great. Very cooperative and professional
We took our boat to Mobile Marine Repair Services and received excellent results. The team here is highly professional.
Right from repairing the boat problems to correcting the minor flaws on the overall look, the team here did pure justice to my requirements. great job!
Even though they couldnt fix my hydraulic problem (parts issues and Im passing thru) the mechanics were prompt and professional. Ill definitely use them again should the need arises.
These guys are fantastic- we came in from the Island’s May 1- gave them a list - Air conditioning pump, electrical work - serviced both gensets- got us in great shape to head back up the coast. Thanks Matt and your amazing team of Pro’s
Excellent service. Fast and efficient. Will be using them again.
I have used this company since they purchased it from the previous owner. Weve used them for about 8 years. We had a Tiara and now we have a 42 Grand Banks. Finding good dependable people to work on your boat can be a challenge. I am slightly perplexed by some of the negative reviews. My husband and I are about as picky as it comes when it comes to people working on our boats. Our boats are our pride and joy. Matt and Kariann are two of the most finest business owners and human beings that I have ever met. They are professional, honest, extremely knowledgeable, as are their hand picked employees. Matt and Kariann are both retired military and it shows in the organized and professional way they run their company. This is a business with integrity, they really care about what they are doing and want their customers to be happy. Matt and his team have excessive knowledge. They have worked on our boats many times over the years at our marina, as well as hauling our boats out at their land location in Stock Island for bottom paint, detail work and even did a beautiful awlgrip repair on our 23 Albury center console that a forklift at another location damaged. We have never been dissatisfied with anything that Matt and Karianns company has done. They are a class act and we highly recommend them.
Mobile Marine Repair Services is my topmost choice when it comes to getting anything related to boat repaired. Whenever I face any problems with my boat, I contact them for expert services.
This man has overpriced me after giving me an estimate and when I declined to pay that price he up the hours on the invoice and priced me $800 over his estimate since then he has settled with me for $1100 and I am very unhappy with the service he didn’t even finish the serviceWatch out for this company
Don’t. Do. Not. We had them come to the boat for minor repairs. They walked off of the boat with 6000.00 and numerous “issues” needing to be repaired!!!!!! You’ve been warned.
