Great experience compared to the one in Key Largo. Staff here was very helpful and willing to help. Ended up buying our scuba gear here for our trip in Florida and then Hawaii.Just an awesome job.

For as large of a store this is, they can only fill two tanks at one time and even if you are the only two tanks in line, they need multiple hours (4+) to get them filled. They also cant fill 120 cuft tanks as their machine isnt big enough to hold them.Great selection of merchandise as one would expect with Divers Direct.

Stopped in a few week ago after completing our open water certification while on vacation in Key West. Great selection and the staff was friendly. Kevin did an awesome job helping us pick out our first regulators.

Great people, best place to buy anything dive or snorkel related.The other dive shops will local shame you on buying from Divers Direct, but in 2021, who wants to go to 2 or 3 places to get what’s needed, when you can go to 1 great stocked store.We take advantage of their 3.00 mid week air fills.This place has the most knowledgeable and friendly people in the key largo dive community.I’m a local here and will not go anywhere else for our dive equipment.

Me and my husband (with the kids) went to this place the other day. We just got certified in our Open Water Scuba 6 mos ago. We wanted to get our own gears but we were not sure where we will start. So many different brands. The girl named Jane was very helpful in everythig from start to finish. She was supposed to get off work but she stayed with us for few more hours to help and find the right sizes and all the gears we needed. She is very patient, helpful and knowledgeable, the other staffs as well. The store is clean and you will feel comfortable shopping here. We have 2 more big suitcases to check in when we fly but we are very happy and pleased we got our stuff from this store. I highly recommend them :)Howard Family

I had an excellent experience with Divers Direct. I bought a rash guard the day before I went diving. After diving we walked by the store and showed them the problem. They wanted to exchange it right then but my receipt was back in our B&B. I exchanged it the next morning in about 2 minutes. Love the shirt,t service and the product quality.

Customer service is good, the selection is not. I guess that should be expected based on the location being in key West. Its not a very big store. They had probably 75% of what I needed. I would go back again if I needed common gear.

First trip to Key West. Having a great time. Our visit to this place was no exception. Maybe it’s the over abundance of sunshine but everyone seems so friendly. Especially when we stopped in at Divers Direct. Steve helped us with unbridled enthusiasm. Really charismatic personality. Made us feel like family. He helped me find a UPF shirt to wear on our excursion so I wouldn’t burn! Don’t pass this place up. They have everything to enjoy these beautiful waters! Next time we are in town, we will be sure to stop by and say hello.

Wow! Walk in to look at masks... we’ve been living in Key West for a little now and thought we’d better commit to a nice pair. No mirrors, the dressrooms are closed, I’ve wait 15 to someone open it.We forgot our anti-fog spray for diving glasses at home, so we have to buy an other one. The seller said, the best one is the 9$ (dearest) spray so we bought it. At the same day, we try out in the ocean and it’s do not works. We brought back, to change for an other. The seller said, because we tried it out, he can’t change it. But, we said, IF I DON’T TRY OUT HOW DO I KNOW ITS DO NOT WORKS??? The seller said he can’t do anything. So we left it there.Very wrong attitude.

We were on a cruise ship that arrived in Key West the day before our dive in the Bahamas. I discovered our dive computers were dead and we needed batteries,My husband was sure that we would pay dearly for them, but they were priced as cheap as at home! In addition, Steven helped me adjust my scuba mask after he heard I was concerned because it leaked. Very professional and we are grateful they were there!

Got a new mask with prescription lenses -8/-7.5 at a super nice price. The selection of gear seemed extensive. No pressure sales. I will definitely order from them online as I lived up in MA, but if I do get back down there, I will certainly be stopping in.

What a great store and friendly customer service. We were checking out equipment for doing our advanced diving and the staff were very knowledgeable. We didnt buy much as we were waiting to get home to Orlando to check out the new store there. Should have bought in Key West.

New layout of store is decent. however I still find low inventory of many sizes so I often pass up purchases. also I purchased hi pressure steel tanks and your not always able to fill them, not good.. parking is a real problem and often makes me drive away and go to other local shops.. employees I have found to be pleasant and helpful. Just visited again 3 weeks later to purchase a new Zeagle Regulator setup. Says online they are a dealer. Not one to be found in the building. I would have spent close to $2k on a new setup with computer sad. Lowered my rating from 4 to 3.

This is my go to store for dive gear. They have the best selection and the best prices that I have found. I wish they had a store closer to where I live in the Tampa Bay area. As it is now, I wait to buy things until we are making a trip to Key West.

Down in Key West for mini season, we frequent Divers Direct for all our snorkeling, lobstering and spear fishing needs every year. The staff is amazing and the selection is great! We had some minor issues with some of the equipment we had purchased and Michelle was able to exchange the equipment easily. She was extremely helpful and provided a level of customer service that far exceeds the norm. In addition, Lindsay assisted me with selecting a new mask as the one I had wouldnt seal and was fogging up. She really knew her stuff and was a huge help in finding a mask that fit me. If youre in the Keys, make Divers Direct your go to place for all your diving needs! Youll be glad you did!

Ive been coming here for all of my scuba needs since recently being certified. Chris and John have been a great help in regards to purchasing my own set of gear. The selection is pretty large in the store with various price points, which means theres something for everybody.

Abby was very helpful. I was looking door something items for a Christmas list for my mo . I couldnt locate some she noticed me wandering the store and asked if she could help. Heres the tale of two lost souls meandering in the snorkel aisle without a clue and increasing frustration and hopelessness. Then in the blink of an eye, Mr. Steven came to our rescue like a knight and shining snorkel master. Instantly he calmed our fears and confusion of all the snorkel options for my poor husband who suffers from goatee mask syndrome. (Drowning from a leaky mask always). He was funny, charming and so informative! Now my husband can snorkel in bliss and I dont have to worry about losing him to a goatee incident. Thank you for saving my husband, Steve. Thank you .

The store has gotten smaller, and the selection has gotten smaller on some diving equipment, but the staff is still excellent, and the selection for snorkeling is still great.

Not too much into diving or watersports, but being in the Keys, found this shop great for first-time purchases. They had sale items on some great products, and the snorkel and goggles I purchased were definitely quality. Staff was okay.

Top notch service at this shop! I live in Minnesota. I happened to stop in to this shop when I was vacationing in Key West with my wife. They had a great deal on a bcd, regulator, octo, computer combo, and also offer financing, which is rare. So i decided to buy the whole set. John was extremely helpful. Because we were vacationing, they also allowed me to use the gear on a few dives the next day, and would still ship it back to Minnesota free of charge.Once I was back in Minnesota, I realized I would be better off with a cold water regulator, one thats set up for less than 50 degrees F. John offered to let me exchange my regulator, assembled it, and shipped it back in time for me to dive the next weekend in 40 degree water. Could not have asked for better service.

I took a speargun band to the Key West divers direct today to be replaced. Being new to spearfishing, I thought mine was worn out. The resident spearfishing expert was put on my case and sent over to assist. He told me that the band was showing a little wear n tear but was still good for a few more trips. Instead of selling me a new one that I didnt need, he was honest and helped me out. He showed me that they did indeed carry the one I needed and told me that it would be there when im ready for it.He then offered up some great advice about spearfishing and let me know how to properly maintain my equipment. I learned a thing or two...You dont get this kind of service from an online store (or really most any sporting good stores). This dude was top notch and he represented his shop well.I will be back for all my diving needs. thanks again!!!
