We had an outstanding lunch today! Omar was an outstanding server! The Viva Salad with shrimp was out of this world. My friends had meals which looked wonderful. Last week I was here for happy hours. The curried mussels, shrimp and empanadas were delicious. Some think Viva serves bar food. They are wrong. Viva now serves five star quality cuisine at a fraction at an affordable price! They have one of the best chefs on the island!

Ah-mazing! We are sitting here right now writing this review, that is how much we enjoyed our lunch. The burger was juicy and fresh, and the proveleta was out of this world!!Omar was the best waiter ever! He was so up beat and had great suggestions. He accommodated is quickly and made us 5star margaritas! I highly recommend this place.

Felt like I was back to a place I call home. The place is elegant, really top quality. Our server Tomas was outstanding, really nice guy from Córdoba, Argentina. Steak milanesa with fries, real Argentinian food. The skirt steak was fantastic. They have a good wine selection. Totally recommend this place!We Hungry double Approved!

Such a nice place!! The waitress was excellent! Perfectly attentive without hovering. Their steak empandads were excellent!! We also had the steak tacos. Delicious!! We went earlier in the evening (5:00 pm) so it wasnt crowded at all. You can dine in, or eat outside. They do have fans and shades to keep the Key West sun off you while you dine. Cant wait to go back!

The food does not taste bad (although it needed salt), and you dont expect to have to fix the food. Lower your expectations for an Argentinian restaurant, because the dont even know how to pair the food properly (as it is done in real and good Argentinian restaurants). If you eat outside, like I did, the cockroaches will run all over you. Also, people smoke in that area where you eat, which is disgusting. I do not recommend you go to this place at all. Will definitely NEVER visit again. Prices are way too expensive for what it is.

Shout out to Thomas. He is a great waiter, there when you need him. Salad was fresh, PEI Mussels were truly PEI, they were perfect. Steak was prepared as ordered. Great sitting on the patio listening to live music.

Omar greeted me with a smile. The white sangria (watermelon) is the 2nd best Ive had only to the ones in Spain. The steak Empanadas were obviously made with love & care. They left me wanting to order more they were that amazing

First stop of the trip for a beer and appetizers. The empanadas were awesome and so was Omar! He gave us exceptional service! We will be back!

This place was awesome.It was super charming.. they had live music and such a cool vibe. The entire staff was friendly and offered suggestions. Our server was super honest about the dishes and made sure to direct us to dishes that we would love.I ended up getting the salmon and it was so GOOD! Would love to go back.

My group decided we wanted to do a “fancy” dinner one night where we dressed up much more than usual and ate somewhere nice no matter the price. Key West is always a bustling place and many places need reservations way ahead of time, and on my third or fourth try I stumbled across Viva and was finally able to land a reservation. (I don’t think you necessarily need a reservation here but for big groups or if you want to make sure you don’t wait forever I’d really recommend it)Little did I know what an absolute gem of a restaurant we chose! It couldn’t have turned out better!Viva is one of those cool places where it’s a little higher end where you can really dress up and not look way too fancy yet you can also dress super casual comfy and not stick out either. We opted to sit out in their courtyard, which was gorgeous. Lots of colors and lights strung all over and even live music! The live music actually made our whole night, especially this one woman who played the saxophone (Ithink), she was just uber talented and it was hypnotizing listening to her play. Even though we were far finished with our dinner we all agreed to stay until she was done performing.And the food- absolutely no complaints and only deliciousness. My aunt and I split the surf n turf and the sirloin was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth heaven. I could have hung out at this place all night and definitely recommend it to you if you want a diamond in the rough hidden spot of Key West Duval Street.

Great food at a very price. Steak was absolutely the best. Drinks were strong and beer was cold.

We came last year for the first time and had their HH. We came back for the same thing this year. Their empandas are fantastic, steak and a cheese corn. I think we had different flavors last time. Their sangria is great and available in red or white. The steak was tasty and flavorful. Good service.

Great food/cool vibe/attentive service

The evening was magical. The atmosphere was lovely. The music was lively. The drinks were delicious. The food was a major disappointment. As the food should be the first priority I can not call it a good meal.

We found no line no waiting for a seat outside, service was great and the music was pleasant, we are not fans of sauce on out steaks and would order on the side next time. When we think of Argentinian steaks we think of wood fired. Hard to tell

Food was really good. The steak tacos were delicious, calamari was great, overall it was all good. Service was a little slow but there was only one guy so cant fault him for that.

A little bit of Argentina right here in the Keys. It has a nice open air feeling and warm atmosphere plus entertainment. The food was delicious. I had the Garlic ginger shrimp and a small salad. One of my partners had the Argentine filet mignon Milanesa bread fried steak and the other an Argentine Ribeye. All plates were delicious. I thought my shrimp dish was just a bit skimpy which is why I held back the 5th star. Service was good.

Fantastic outdoor/indoor space. Sat outdoors n there was a live band. Make reservations, we did esp since had a party of 6. The hostess was pleasant. Our server Omar was extremely friendly n had jokes although he did 4get a few things requested but made up for it w/ his humor.... the food was extremely tasty, started w/ appetizers - mussels in a curry sauce. Entrées followed w/ surf n turf, grilled salmon (2), sirloin and grouper; every1 of us enjoyed their dishes immensely!!! We had dessert too, all of w/c r made in hse I was informed. The chocolate cookie was the best,, but they all tasted fan!!! Pics below..... a must visit when in Key West!!!

The smell of the food caught our attention and drew us in from busy Duval St. The decor was classic and fun, even if the sunshades were overdue for a cleaning. We started off with a nice Argentina Malbec and a Ginger old fashioned. Both drinks were good and refreshing for the meal. The chorizo on the cheese plate was delicious. The rest of the plate was standard charcuterie options. The steak tacos could have benefitted from a little cheese or sauce, but I improvised by using the sauce from the cheese plate and it was divine. Shrimp tacos were well seasoned, with just the righ toppings to bring make the shrimp the main attraction.

My parents and I came for the Happy Hour and everything was fantastic. The food was amazing and the drinks were so good. The watermelon sangria is very refreshing. Service was impeccable. Came back for the drinks and the environment. Omar (the bartender during the day) made it feel very inviting and so much fun!! The key lime pie martini is a must have. Please check this place out if you’re on Duval!!

The best Steaks on Duval, and the music is a big plus to a staff that are friendly, knowledgeable and first rate. Hakeem, our server made our visit the highlight of our evening. Finally dont miss the 14oz New York strip, it was fantastic. Viva, too Vivas!

Viva Saloon has amazing food, great customer service, and a awesome vibe! We sat outside and enjoyed live music. We also tried their sangria and it was amazing! I got the shrimp fettuccine which melted in my mouth. They had offerings of steak and veggies grilled too! They also have a great happy hour from 3 to 6pm

Great restaurant! The Cheese Plate for an App was great for 4 people. We had 2 different kind of steaks and the seafood spaghetti.. they did not disappoint. The sauce for the Steaks was delicious! Our 4 year old loved the live music

Just a quick stop in for a drink. Bartender was ok, but friendly. Downside was that he tried to overcharge me! Ive learned to use a Cash App card and transfer money as needed, due to this very thing. Tried to say my card was declined even after telling him that he overcharged me. Told him to try again and he finally charged me correctly after 3 failed attempts.

Visiting Key West for one week. Halfway through the trip a friend recommended we stop in for dinner! SO glad we did! Antonio was superb, answered our questions, recommended some great drinks! Hidden gem! The food and atmosphere are amazing. If you have the chance, stop in and get some empanadas and a Moscow mule. They make their own ginger beer which does not disappoint. Omar is the BEST bartender.

First time to visit Key West. We stopped in for a drink and quick snack. Omar was our waiter and was super duper friendly and provided fast service. He is one of those guys that you feel like you have known your whole life.

Loved this place so much! We had dinner reservations and were immediately sat in outdoor seating that was beautiful. The food was amazing and the service incredible. We loved it so much that we came back the next night for Salsa dancing!

I will start by saying it didnt live up to our expectations that we had derived from all the previous posts and reviews. My wife and I both went for the filet and were told it would be a week before they got any in stock. So, we both ended up ordering the ribeye instead and both had quite a bit of fat. I understand having some as all ribeye cuts do, but we felt these were excessive. We also waited 15 mins before even getting to see a waiter so we questioned how this was going to go early on. We were expecting a really good experience as we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary ❤. Hate to say it was just okay and not anything like what we were hoping. Meals looked good as we had the steak empanadas as our appetizer.

Great place with friends to enjoy an excellent dinner and drinks. Had the Ribeye which was fantastic with flavor especially with the merlot reduction sauce. Also the appetizers (cheese plate), empanadas, and chorizo plate were all fantastic in flavors and filled up our group of 10. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came across this gem this evening. I usually don’t give reviews but the experience was too great not to. Our server (Alex) did a phenomenal job making sure we had all we needed and was super attentive to our needs. And the ribeye, veal, and asparagus was cooked to perfection. My ribeye was hands down the best I have ever eaten. The reduction sauce was perfect and everything was perfectly seasoned. Shout out to the chefs “ya’ll slayed it”! Keep up the amazing job!!! Fantastic service and food!

We had an amazing experience at dinner! We tried the Steak Empanadas for am appetizer which were amazing! Amy our waitress was friendly. The veal chop, burger and flank steak with asparagus were amazing. Maybe one of the best burgers I have ever tried. Th Nutella cheesecake was a good way to finish.

Omar was the best bartender! We stopped in for a drink and stayed for hours because the environment was so much fun. Definitely a place we will come back to when we return to Key West!

Very nice place. Probably the fanciest steak house in the Keys. Beautiful young ladies working there. Very good food. I got the ribeye. Cooked to perfection. Had a Corona or 3. They open at 4pm.

Great food! Fantastic service! We made a reservation. They had live music, which was nice. It was fine for kids, but I don’t think they had a kids menu. Our kids just split a pasta dish.

The service here is top notch. The steak and lobster were by far the best meal I had while on the island if not the best meal ever. Nice live entertainment enhances the open outdoor environment. With all of that said, plan on having very deep pockets if you plan to dine here. Two people with tip just shy of $200.

Ive been coming to Key West several times a year for a decade. Discovered this place just last night. Excellent food!! Service and atmosphere were also 100%. Didnt have reservations so ate inside with the bartender who made me delicious expresso martinis. New favorite for sure!

Stopped in on Monday afternoon for Lunch. It was probably one of the best decisions weve made on our trip to Key West! The empanadas were amazing! The shrimp tacos delish! I had the Viva salad with skirt steak, and it was an excellent option too! Service was friendly and our guy (Hakim) made some great recommendations on drinks and food.
