We went there for a quick bite with our three dogs and were beyond pleased. If you want a massive, delicious, piled high burger then this is it, not to mention it would be double the price anywhere else. The fries, onion rings, and brats also deserve an honorable mention but the burgers swept us off our feet. The large outdoor patio is secluded, inviting, and comfortable. My mother, who is extremely picky, left with a huge smile and glowing review of the place. The staff were so sweet and accomodating. I am told the beer is fresh with a vast selection. If you dont like beer like me, try their killer cider. We have been back a couple times and Lacey takes care of us in the best way.

Our last stop on our way to the airport. Small, cute, chill bar. It seems like a local spot for regulars. The food was good. My husband had the Popper Burger which was yummy; and I had the Cobb Salad Wrap which was extremely fresh and good. There was live music that helped to add to the chill vibe. Definitely would return to try other food items, as well as to relax on their patio.

Walked in on taco Tuesday and loved it, chicken street tacos and onion rings were bomb! Had a big kona pineapple cider and a kona gold ipa. Loved this place!

My husband and I came here the first day our stay in Kihei and had the popper burger. After that we spent 2 weeks and paid a LOT of money eating at fine dining establishments and food trucks around the island, but we couldnt stop thinking about that popper burger! So, on our last day we came back to What Ales You for the BEST BURGER and quite possibly, the BEST FOOD in Maui.

Great location that is conveniently located to other restaurants and bars, we ordered some nachos and wings and their guacamole is great! House made flour tortillas and the buffalo wings are where its at. The service is top notch as well and outdoor seating is available give this place a shot you will not be disappointed happy drinking and go for happy hour

Best fries on the island! Beer selection is top notch and food is delicious!! Savannah the owner was so welcoming to us and always had a beer suggestion for us when we came (we were here for a month and came weekly)! The burgers and fries are delicious, but we’ve had salads, chicken strips, and tacos - everything is great! Whatever you pick you won’t be disappointed!

So, great selection of beers. Great customer service. But... My true unit of measure is how does their cobb salad compare. What Ales You had an absolute winner. Perfect ratio of flavors and textures. Did I need salad dressing - NO! The salad was perfection from first bite to last. This place is an A+.

Lets say this is just a front. The wings awesome. But when you look for a brewery you expect them to make beer. I gave it 3 for the wings you can buy a beer at the supermarket.

What a disappointing end to my trip (and special night out during Covid) this place was. Bartender served us without looking at us at 905. And consistently came by to tell us we needed out soon (for 10pm close) while slamming chairs and cushions around us. We were just in for one drink. First glass of wine had turned bad, but was ignored. Seemed to be an industry night or something as the inside was packed and outside with people waiting to get in. Such offensive service, but solid beer and wine menu

If you came here for craft beer, this IS the spot for Kihei, HI. With 20 taps available from local island and mainland craft brews including Kombucha. Employees are friendly and will suggest a brew based on your flavors. They have a great reggae mix on the speakers. Plus live music occasionally. Locals are good to us and will start up a conversation.

As a local, I frequent this spot at least 2 times a week before the pandemic. I always bring my family & friends visiting from the mainland. Love their selection of wines & beers. Their food is so delicious! Once restaurants opened up during the pandemic, I reached out to Savannah & Jess for a bday private party. It was an amazing night of fun! The food was amazing! Great place to drink beer. A laid back place with comfy chairs and couches. They have a large selection of beer, mostly from the Pacific Northwest, but also a few local beers. Sit at the bar and listen to the live music, or sit in the living room and hear the gently background music. Lots of locals hang here. Service was good, but the waitress didnt know her beers, except that she liked to drink them. Check it out, its chill.

Cool, laid back atmosphere. A few TVs playing a variety of sports games. Tap list was diverse in beer type, and consisted of a lot of popular Oregon/California beers. Service was friendly and while the food menu looked good, I didn’t try anything beyond the potato Mac salad, which was a decent portion and very good.

First visit to Maui and we stumble upon this gem on our first day. Excellent selection of beer and great wine and cider too. We even got to chat with the owner for a bit. This place specializes in brats and oh man are they good. Pretty sure I just had the best brat of my life, and Ive eaten a lot in my life time. Nice and cozy on the open air veranda. I foresee a couple more visits in our 2 week Maui stay.

For $12: 2 scoops of rice, some raw spinach and a stir fry of a tiny mushroom sliced, a quarter of a red pepper, and maybe a fifth of a small zucchini with some frozen corn on top. Cool.

This is not a taco place, but they somehow have the BEST tacos Ive ever had! The atmosphere is also cosy with most of it being outside.

Best tap selection in Maui (probably Hawaii). They have the college football on Saturday and NFL Network on Sundays. Very welcoming friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We stopped in for happy hour today. We ordered 3 appetizers for us (2 adults and 2 kids)The beers were very nice and the selection was very good.The food unfortunately was definitely below average. Luck of the draw I guess? The chips and guac were over salted. The mac and cheese was very bland and the quesadilla unfortunately had no flavor at all.Waitress had said appies and beers were $2 off for happy hour. Had to go ask for the bill as our waitress was mia. None of the appies were discounted for happy hour so I had to ask for it to be fixed.Not sure our experience today would be enough to bring us back

Cozy bar seating about 10, with a larger enclosed patio offering comfy chairs. Superb beer selection of about 15 taps. Small menu, but bruschetta was perfect, as was the off-menu cheeseburger. Friendly, inviting staff. Growlers for takeout @ $15. Doubleplus good!

Great NEW spot in Kihei at the Triangle. Classy spot with at least 12-16 different drafts always on tap, solid wine selection. Beautiful décor inside and out, good music and Taco Tuesday has jalapeno cheese tamales too!

What a treat to find a real Taphouse that does Growler fills on Maui! They have an excellent selection of craft beer from some of the best breweries in the world! We were pleased to find some favorite brews and a selection of beer we had not tried before. So far this is the only place with any Nitro Taps on the island. Comfortable seating, good food and great beer in paradise. It was a fun time!!

The reason I went to this restaurant was because a vlogger (Aloha Stoked) suggested going there for Taco Tuesday. To my sadness, they no longer have taco Tuesday with the chef that use to come in and make the special tacos.Well I was there, and was in the mood for tacos, so I decided to get the tacos off the menu. They offer chicken and fish. The chicken was better in my opinion. They had good flavor. My fiance got some rice bowl. She said it was nothing special. She said the chicken had good flavor, but everything else on it was kinda bland.The bartender was extremely nice and the selection of beer was good for me at least. It was heavy on the IPAs during that rotation of kegs.Not sure if I would go back there (we stay near Kaanapali when we visit), but of all the places we went to in Kihei, I thought it was the best. Wont be a must stop when we visit again in 3 years.
