Peggy was so communicative, patient to answer all my random questions, and helped us narrow down some plans, including making a great dinner reservation for us, where we got the best table in the house. Our daughter and son-in-law renewed their vows on Ironwood Beach with Pastor Laki. It was 18 years ago that we renewed our vows on Maui with Pastor Laki as well. He was pleasant, entertaining and had a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed when he played his ukulele. I wouldn’t be surprised if we did it again! Great memories that will last forever.

Im so impressed! I called Peggy yesterday immediately after our flight from Kauai to Maui. I had never spoken with her before, and told her we wanted to get married THE NEXT DAY before we flew back to the mainland. After an amused laugh, Peggy told me to give her five minutes and she would see what she could do. In five minutes, Peggy had everything pulled together. She even told us which resort to stay at since we didnt have any reservations (we fly free standby with the airlines so we never make concrete plans until we land somewhere). Minister Mike showed up and was so amazing. He made us feel completely at home and relaxed, saying no problem at all regardless of how we answered his few questions. I was in Maui this past June and Mike took the most beautiful wedding pictures, capturing the best day of life in most perfect way. The session was so natural and fast I was amazing when I saw how beautiful all the pictures were and loved some of the candid pictures he took. Peggy and Michael created the perfect wedding experience, from beginning to end. We were looking for something adventurous for our wedding ceremony (at the top of Mt Haleakala), and they seemed to be the only company willing to do that (other companies just offer beach/waterfall ceremonies as ‘adventurous’). Peggy was quick to answer any questions we had, from before booking the wedding to the end of the ceremony and beyond.Michael performed a unique and very personal ceremony that was loved by everyone attending. After the ceremony Michael went above and beyond to take some more great pictures of us, hiking down with us some on the trail to the crater to take more pictures of us. My wife and I used Maui Aloha weddings for our wedding ceremony and they did a great job at a very affordable price. They made it very easy and arranged everything we needed. We communicated and planned everything well through phone or email. They catered things to our preferences (flower bouquet, cake, flower ring, dinner/restaurant choices, and beach) and had nice add-ons (doves, etc.) that made the experience more special. The pastor was great, friendly, and made things easy as well. Everyone overall was friendly and easy to work with. We really appreciated that, and enjoyed the experience and memories created that well get to look back on with warm hearts.

We used Maui Aloha Weddings for our wedding coordination in August 2014. We are so THANKFUL we did!!! Peggy was a complete lifesaver. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. I had previously called another wedding vendor last fall. I explained that our 25th wedding anniversary was next Valentines day and I asked if that date would be an issue with having a vow renewal on the beach. They said no and proceeded to set everything up for our beach vow renewal on Valentines day 2015. I bought a dress to wear, we booked our trip, and made a lot of plans. When I checked my email later that day, I had an email from the vendor saying they were sorry but they could make more money on a large wedding that day. I was crushed that someone would do this to us especially since I told them our request up front. I then contacted Peggy at Maui Aloha Weddings and she was so excited and happy for us. She assured me that we could have a vow renewal on the beach on Valentines day. We emailed and talked back and forth for a few months. I called Peggy the day we landed in Maui. Peggy had taken care of everything. Peggy also told me we were the only ceremony she had booked that day and made us feel so special. Mike was not only our officiant but our photographer and he was just as impressive. Although it was forecast for 100% rain that day, I think Mikes Hawaiian spirit held the rain back for us. Planning a wedding and a family trip from long distance isnt always easy - especially when you are somewhat of a control freak like me. :) Working with Peggy and her team was a breath of fresh air. The quality of what you receive is second to none. I have every person in my 24 person party telling me that my husband and I’s wedding was the best they ever attended. We used reverend Laki and he provided a ceremony that fit perfectly with us- amazing for just meeting us 5 minutes prior to the start! Everyone laughed, had fun, and it was so memorable. We even had another reverend come up to us and say Laki is one of the best on the island and he was trained by him. Then the photographer Rojeena took so much careful thought and time taking pictures! A drone was even taken out to take pics for us! I can’t wait to see how the images turned out. We began planning our Maui wedding in 2013. We didn’t know then, that by our chosen date of 7-7-16, marriage for gay couples would be legal in all 50 states. We got married at Kapalua Bay Beach on April 5, 2016. We dreamed of a perfect wedding day, but we couldnt have dreamed of this. Peggy was our main contact for coordinating things and she was easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to the tons of emails and questions that any normal, overly anxious bride(s) can come up with. When we came to Maui, Peggy and Mike had everything in order and we didnt have to worry about a thing.The morning of the wedding, we received a phone call that it had rained at our planned location and that it might not be best for our ceremony to be held there. We laughed as, back on the mainland, every single one of our pre-wedding parties had been blessed with rain! (We expect many years of good luck to follow.) We didnt have to rework a thing! Mike had several beautiful Plan Bs. I could have really used that kind of expertise back home for our previous parties!We easily decided on our new location, Makena Cove. Mike was available to guide us there, and I truly believe we were meant to have our wedding there all along.The actual wedding was just beautiful and we couldnt have asked for more. Robert performed our ceremony and he was fabulous. He even remembered every single one of our guests names, and I was especially impressed by that! The flower leis were fresh and gorgeous and made a special treat for our guests attending as well. Everything about the ceremony was a dream.Mike, our photographer and the guy who kept everything in order, is not only a great guy in general, but also one of those people who just have an eye for seeing things most people dont.
