Wow, what a great Ace store! I was really impressed with the selection of products. In addition to the usual hardware store items they even have some arts & craft supplies, pretty cool. I bought plumbing repair parts, light bulbs, kitchen utensils, household organization items, household cleaning supplies and car wash supplies all in one trip. Their cleaning products section is pretty epic. Everything a clean freak like me could want. Its so nice to have this store right in Kihei and save the drive into town to go to the big box stores. Customer service was great too, super nice people working there. Ill definitely be back.

Every Tuesday is senior discount day 10% off all purchases. They take care of their customers loaded everything into the car for me due to its weight. Grateful to have them in Kihei.

This is one of the kindest and most helpful places on the entire island. I am at the Ace Hardware in Kihei a few times per month and always have a pleasant experience getting exactly what it is that I need.

Great customer service. It’s the only place on the island I can find isobutane fuel for my jetboil stove.

This Ace always rocks a cool local vibe with friendly employees that are so helpful and informative. I always find what I’m going in for and more. I’ve been shopping here on and off since the late 90’s and the vibe has always stayed this way.

This must be the worst ran Ace in the entire country. Usually only one cashier unless the people in line complain. It is poorly stocked. I only go there if I have no other choice. A constant dissapointment.

I really enjoy having this helpful hardware store in my neighborhood. It is super convenient, the people that work here are friendly and their hours are great. For a reasonably small store, they have a great variety of inventory. Highly recommended!

The store is at the back of the plaza. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but I have almost always been able to find what I need. The employees are very helpful.

Every time that I go to an Ace Hardware Store, I am treated with respect, friendliness and knowledge.

This Ace Hardware store is located in a really nice shopping center in Kihei. It is very well-stocked and is my preference for most hardware items instead of going to the larger home improvement stores in Kahului. The sales staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about their products.

Huge kudos to all for excellent customer service finding things in the store.On the other hand, shame on the site leadership for being 30 years behind the times. Havent they heard of the benefits of having a unitized checkout line yet? I, as well as other customers, waited in lines with only 3 or 4 customers in front of us for 10 to 15 minutes because the persons being checked out had multiple issues to deal with while other checkout lines without such issues moved quickly and efficiently.This problem is easy to fix. The store has lots of room to set up a unitized checkout line system. This isnt the 1st time this has happened to me here. I will take my business elsewhere until this problem is fixed. This is a VERY simple problem to fix. Please exit the neanderthal age and join the 21st century. This one upgrade to ur store would GREATLY be appreciated and make the customer experience a far more pleasant one while bringing more business into the store. Please consider implementing this simple, well intentioned, cost-free and effective solution. I and others live nearby and prefer to support local businesses wherever possible. Thank you.

I would have given this store a five-star except for the the service we received at checkout. Lorma couldn’t be described as anything but rude. There was no smile, no personality shown and not even an apology when she rang our items up wrong. We brought it to her attention and she said that we were wrong. We pointed out the item which was located directly behind her, she still insisted that we were wrong. When pressed again, she rolled out the item, measured them and changed the price to the correct price. No apologies, nothing.

Excellent experience here. Needed a very specific and as it turned out very inexpensive part. The folks here treated me like I was buying a thousand dollar item and helped explain pitfalls I may encounter with installation. Highly recommend.

Love having a good hardware store so conveniently located to my home. Kihei Ace has most everything u need. Their service workers r very helpful if u cant find what ur looking for just ask.

Ive always been helped by friendly staff. If the lines get long they do a really good job of bringing up more cashiers. Its a great alternative to driving to town if you need something quick. Selection is decent and sometimes the stock gets low, but for being a small neighborhood hardware store I think its completely understandable.

If you find yourself in need of something in Kihei and dont want to spend 40 minutes traveling to Kahalui and back, stop in at Ace Hardware. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and mostly local. They are very helpful and have just about anything the big box stores do. The store is stuffed full so you might need some help. Luckily, the crew is roaming the store answering questions. I really appreciate the personal attention. Its conveniently located in a strip mall and you can always find a parking spot nearby.

Regular ace hardware. Staff is nice. This is a great option for when you have an immediate need for a specific piece, but it is a little pricey when compared to online.

Ace Kihei is really the only hardware store on the Southside. Friendly helpful staff here and waiting lines to cashout are usually swift. Id say like most stuff on Maui the prices here are moderate but they do have a good stock of items and a small nursery as well. Propane also available, overall a good spot to get what you need for your projects

Purchased a $10 pump at this store. Never used it and never even opened it. Returned to the store 3 days later with the sealed pump to return but forgot my receipt. They wouldnt give me a refund.Every other store I shop at (Lowes, Home Depot, etc...) can swipe the credit card you used to make the purchase and send a refund back to that card. If their system is down they give you cash.Will never shop here again.

Theres never a time you can walk in Ace Hardware Kihei and receive friendly service, hello and a smile. Unless youre a grouchy person you wouldnt recognize it. They know what isle your product is located saving time looking for it yourself, and if they cant help you with your problem theyll find someone with a solution. Ace Hardware Kihei is my favorite over and above the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowes any day and time. Sometimes cheaper price equals wasted time looking for help or someone with good information and knowledge and in the end NOT having your product. We had to look for a worker and wen we did find a worker he didnt really help until I said some remark bout goin somewhere els to find da bulb or finding someone else who would actually help me... he then came n looked but didnt say anything than left to go do something else...
