Great place to stop. Service was very pleasant. A lot of things to shop. Great treasure hunt.

So came here to eat at Wendys and could not have been happier. The people were absolutely friendly, received our food in a timely manner and it was good. Did not have one rude person here, though we were here at the lunch hour. The restrooms on this visit were fine. Definitely had no problems this visit and everything looked clean to me. Definitely recommend visiting.

8/28/2021 - Of all the trips Ive made into truck stops including this location the cashier has always checked me out on the OTR side. It was late and extremely busy. The clerk finished up with an OTR driver then refused to check me out since all I had was a water. Basically she argued and walked off. Can we say Lazy! This would have never happened during the day. Brian Hatchett / Jerry Roberts - if youre reading please pay attention. Your employees are declining service to paying customers.

Today, Sunday 7/15/18Store and bathrooms not clean, since we entered by the fuel island, was the wet floor without any sign of care is wet ...The bathrooms were very dirty with watered papers, toilet without lowering and paper towel overflowed in the ladies bathroom. ..The gentleman bathroom with the wet floor, even more because there is no paper towelandmy husband tells me that we have to wait to use the hand dryer and two damaged urinals too ...Wendys area super clean and friendly staff, the Dunkin Donuts all good...IN THE STORE-Market the non-friendly staff....

Pretty nice inside. Showers are out in the laundry building. Theyre nice inside too, but the shower heads suck. Good food, (big fat cheeseburgers in the warmer), and somewhat friendly staff. I didnt have to leave any collateral for the towels and key.. and I look like a drug dealer before I shower 😊

Nice, clean store with friendly staff. Mens room only has two commodes, so dont wait till the last minute. Weird liquid soap that leaves an oily residue, but the air dryers will evaporate that. Wendys inside was decent. A little wait for food on Sunday evening. But it was hot and fresh when I got it. Dunkin Donuts on site also. Bacon, egg and cheese bagels were on point if you have $4.32 to spend on one. Didnt try the Baskin Robbins, but the ladies and kids there seemed happy with their cones. Monster energy drinks were 2/$4 when I was there. 75 gallons of diesel gets you a free shower and they have laundry machines available. Ill stop there again.

It is 7:19 pm 8/4/17: Mens restroom stalls are filthy. Smells like a litter box. Toilet paper is placed in holder so you cannot retrieve a solid piece. It comes out in very small swatches. Toilet seat had piss all over it that was dry, meaning it had been some time since the last cleaning. The lock on the door was retarded. Mold on the tiles. Sinks covered in water and no soap in dispenser.Be a truck driver is difficult. Sometimes the only thing we have to look forward to on the road is a clean restroom and a hot meal. This place was disappointing.

Great place but it will take you 30 minutes to fill up your truck because of how slow the diesel pumps and def pumps are.

You can put lipstick on a hog, but it’s still a hog. I’ll admit that the place is beautiful for a truck stop. Employees were very friendly. This is where my praise stops. Prices seem higher than other TAs; no fuel discount either. Shower had a floor mat and hand towel, no bath towel. Hot water was very lacking. Cold water pressure was ample. The non adjustable nozzle is aimed high at the back wall. Glad I’m not short; as I’d have to jump to get wet. Would rather go to a run down old 76 that TA refurbished; where they understand the “bread and butter” amenities that drivers really desire.

Had to leave without buying anything. Still a government statewide mask ordinance and NONE of the employees were wearing one. If you want to have a possibility of catching covid, this is a good place to go.

This place is pretty nice for truck drivers. It’s got plenty of food and showers. The employees are always nice.

Clean, pristine, friendly and fast. Seriously one of the best travel stations you can ever visit. You walk in to this wonderfully kept travel station and are greeted with warm smiles and multiple calls out of Welcome to Gateway!. The bathrooms are very clean and they are kept that way regularly. Any food I have bought from here is always fresh and the coffee is superb! Well worth a stop!

The only good thing about this place is convenience. The fuel 10 cents higher than cefco right down the road and def is 50 cents higher. The fuel has black algae and only the first 2 pumps have def. You have to buy at least 100 gallons of fuel to get a free shower that’s not clean and the receipt must be from less than 24 hours ago. No one is manning the diesel desk so you have to ring the bell and wait. With better management this place could be top notch.

Definitely very clean restrooms great selection of foods snacks drinks. Pretty great memorabilia and old antiques that you can view. I really like the old currency that they do have up on display. I was going to buy one of the teddy bears or the monkey but theyre pretty expensive stuffed animals for their size. Overall a great place for truckers to stay the day.

If you are just passing through for gas, this place is fine. Its a nice looking place. However, if you are a truck driver, keep driving. The showers suck. They look nice, however the shower heads are 7 and 1/2 feet off the ground, pointed at the wall, and NOT adjustable. In order to get a hot shower, we had to turn the knob all the way on which made the water stream thin, anything less would give lukewarm water. Im 52 and could stand in the middle of the shower and the water would go right over my head. I had to stand almost against the wall (trying desperately not to touch it) to just get the top of my head wet. My husband, who is 6 tall, even had problems with the way the came the water came out. The faucet for the sink is too short so be sure to turn the water all the way on, or the counter will flood. When we got into the store, there were flys everywhere so eating at the deli was an absolute no.

Extremely rude people staffing this dump at night. Filthy bathrooms and high prices. You will be a happier traveler if you head down by the road to the next service station. Definately not representative of TEXAS....must be from somewhere else.Followed up the next morning with management who politely listened and agreed to address parking concerns. I did receive an apology for ridiculous treatment I endured the night before over the parking issue which I appreciate although it was too late for me it may help the next innocent driver.

Cant speak for truck drivers but if you are needing a place to stop, this place is great. They have a bunch of options if you are on a road trip and looking for a snack. They restrooms are big and usually pretty clean from my experience.

Was very please with this place stop in all the time payed $9 for a shower this morning when done went inside to get coffee and breakfast got a breakfast burrito from warmer wanted salsa and with a nasty attitude from KERI was told that she would have to restock I said ok you going to get me some she said yea in 10 minutes What’s up with the attitude ... Need to hire people with people friendly attitudes to work in truck stops we don’t like attitudes ....

As a driver the showers we take we look forward to warm clean showers. Not the case used those number one . The toilet kept flushing making shower cold . My husband disposed of some one else razor head and hair before I saw it. Mandy said nothing could be done about it she just doesnt usually give that shower to people . The other young lady (did not catch her name ) blonde hair looks mad . She was rude when I asked the price if showers . Everything else looked so nice I did not think I needed to tour the showers like I usually do. Please work on your showers and motivating your staff . I was offered no compensation, nothing.

Went by for some gas as I was checking out I purchased two pieces of. Chicken and some hush puppies to make a long story short the chicken had no. Flavor the blandest ever I have eaten now I see why it was so full dont waste your money and to add injury to insult got food poisoning from the chicken

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL ESTABLISHMENT. Went in to get fuel, and Heather ran my transaction...the card declined, and Heather proceeded to look at me with a severe scowl on her face...I tried two other cards to no avail...so I then went and got an EFS for 700, of which 600 would fuel my truck all the way up, but because Heather thought I was being rude, she refused to give me any more service beyond the fuel I already received, plus, she called the cops on me and had me criminally trespassed from the lot...Lady, You really do need Jesus, and you need to quit worshiping the Devil, because all you did was to make sure that it will be a lifetime before I ever think about coming to this truck stop...Very Disgraceful...Truckers, if you stop here, better have a smile on your face, because if Heather does not like the look on your face, you may be kicked out of here as well...

Showers about half clean, so it should have been half price? NO. Staff need a bomb under their a@* to get them moving. Went to the deli area for catfish around 10:30 am, and was told to check back later because its not ready. I came back in at 1:30, 4:45, and finally at 7:00 pm. Still no catfish and the staff could care less. Know what is ready? Me to drive out of here and spend my money somewhere else!

TRUCKER BEWARE. They charged me $5.40 to fill up my Bubba (coffee) this morning. I dumped it out and they still charged me. They wouldnt even let me scan my rewards card. Keep driving.

Came in to visit my parents from Dallas. Got some food and a red bull. Change tendered had foreign currency mixed in with it so I politely asked for something different. You couldnt pass that off to someone else?, she asked me. Some people are so ridiculous. Seriously?! The cashier has bleach blonde hair and black glasses. Be ready for an attitude.

This place will rip you off overcharge you and does not give a care about the drivers that frequent them. Ive stopped here for Fuel Coffee and other amenities in the past but I will never do it again. Asked if I could park my car in there parking lot for 16 hours from 5 oclock in the morning until 9 oclock at night when I came back through even with my patronage they said if the car was left there it would be towed away at my expense

Seemed nice, but price a little higher than other nearby gas stations. We pulled in with RV, didnt see the truck entrance, so we ended up at the slow diesel pump. Also credit card purchase cut off at $85. Couldnt fill up without running the card again.

Spoke with a lady by the name of heather she said there was not a manger for me to speak with and was very rude to me .when I was trying explain to her that there was 300.00 missing from my efs she refused to listen to what I was saying even after I called efs and they said that at they had taken the money out of my acct and she refused to call and speak to someone with efs .so when I called efs she then some how had figured out her mistake and never apologized for being rude to me .or trying to steal my money then told me I could not ever fuel there again which is no big deal because there a million other truck stops that have smarter people working for them needless to I dont care if i fuel there and will not go there again watch this truck stop they r scam artists.

It sucks.... I buy fuel, and still had to pay 9.00 for my shower. And I had to leave them my driver license until I brought back their funky ass towels and key. I will never stop here again or stay here if I can keep from it. I have never had any other truck stop to ask for my licence to hold until I bring back the towels and key. This place sucks big time and I live here locally. The cashiers are rude and I even showed them hair, yes hair that I had to dig out of the sink drain before I could use the sink in the shower that takes forever for the hot water to get hot. I was told by the cashier that she could care less what I dug out of the sink that I paid 9.00 for and then had the gall to tell me Merry Christmas and to have a blessed day.

Parking lot is ok,stopped to get some catfish at 3:30 pm and was told they had no catfish cause the cook went home,sad but true the employees here say the fish is cooked in the mornings and when it is gone o well,guess this will be last stop here there are other travel centers that have cooks that work past 1pm,Wendys and Dennys are open I guess if you like that kind of stuff.

The manager there named Heather deserves the award of Most Rude Manager at a Truck Stop. To refuse to sell a truck driver a shower is about as low as you can go! All my husband did was ask why he had to stand in line again after waiting in her line forever. She did sell a man in front of him a shower then told my husband to go to another register. Then she yells at the girl there to not sell him a shower? Whatever! We will never stop here again! She needs to remember that trucks are the reason she has a job!

Mens restrooms not very clean with some broken tp dispensers. Otherwise nice place for a stretch and a bite.

Very nice stock, staff always has a smile. Lots of room to move around, so never feels too packed. The check out lines can be packed from time to time.

Very friendly staff, Wendy is very clean, the coffee is great, and the breakfast burritos from the store had an excellent flavorI will definitely be using this as a regular stop!

Dont be a older woman with car trouble needing a cell phone to call for help!!!!They looked at me as if I had two heads, wanting to use their personal phone for one local call!!! One of the customers let me call, less than one minute. Not on my Christmas list!

Best damn tater wedges and bacon habanero chips. BBQ sandwiches are awesome.

Stocked, and a neat place to be, but from the Wendys to the Dunkin Donuts it seemed like not one employee truly cared.. So its a just rest stop to get food and gas and coffee, if your expecting more out of it, dont.

I highly recommend getting there early in the morning so you can get an Earl Campbell pig in a blanket and a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee.

Some of the cleanest bathrooms on the I20. Good place for a family with little ones that need to use the restroom.

Its a hot day out, the a/c doesnt work in my black car. I brought my 10lb Shih Tzu in (carried her) to get out of the heat for a brief moment. The cashier asked me if she was a service dog, I replied no, he said but shes leaving soon right? to which I replied we are! Completely unnecessary when Im obviously checking out to leave. A simple sir we dont allow pets in the store would have sufficed when I walked in or even when I was leaving. Good to know though, Ill stop at a different gas station from now on for my trips! Theres plenty of others to choose from!

If you buy BBQ their be sure to count your change she give u back. Black slim girl at register will rip u off. She got me fot 20$ because I didnt cout it. .

They dont have paper towels to dry hands with in the bathroom and the shower. They make money from gas station but save money on everything.

Well I have been going to this truckstop for many years to get fuel then park and eat inside or at the Dennys next door. Wont be going anymore till they do something about drivers leaving their truck there for days on end. What I wanted to do today but no parking. 2 or 3 tanker companys have taken the place over. Really bad for business Sad when these companies have a yard right down the road. When companies do this they kill the business.
