Genuinely one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a high-end luxury store. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and the woman was super nice and accommodating so this is not about that. I got to the store about 8 minutes early and there was one woman in front of us also early for her appointment. The staff was not only incredibly rude to her, despite her having cash in hand to buy something, but incredibly rude to me and my mom. They made both her and us wait, even though there were several employees in the store and only one customer. I understand appointments and covid precautions are important, but this seemed outrageous given the larger size of the store. The woman servicing us was very snotty and rude to me while trying on a bracelet getting seemingly upset that I did not know how to put it on, despite only ever seeing it online and I had explicitly said I had never put one on before. They are also weirdly strict about viewing other products in the store. I would never shop at this location again and will make a point to buy the item was interested in used somewhere else. It is a shame to see paying customers being treated this way, especially when I would have bought the item but didn’t feel $640 was worth the horrible service experience. I worked low-end retail for over two years and never once treated a customers spending an eighth of that this way. I don’t see why it’s so hard.

I called to make an appointment do to the pandemic. As my first time I was very nervous. Antonia called me back and she was very sweet and helpful. Once I arrive at the store I feel very welcome. Antonia explainer everything and was very patient. I went the second time and the experience was even better. Antonia really make sure you happy with what you pick. She make her customers feel like family. The store are very nice decorated and the safety COVID-19 system are on point.

This was my second time at the store and my SA Michael was amazing. I specifically asked for Michael when I called to make my appointment since my first experience with him was great. He is the reason why I will not go to the Short Hills location. They had a really good selection at the store.

First visit to the store since the start of the pandemic. It feels like a really safe shopping experience with the new safety precautions in place. I really liked the required appointments (it felt like a private shopping experience). Dawn, my SA, who also happens to be the greatest, had everything ready for me. I was able to see what was new in store, purchase a piece I had been searching for and most importantly have a safe outing during these stressful times.

A couple of people and I were waiting in line to go in but as we were waiting a couple of people just walk past and went inside. When we started asking why those people can just go in they said those people have an appointment. Then when we ask how long we have to wait they said “maybe one hour”. What kind of customer service is that? Nobody said anything about how long the wait is until we ask and nobody clarified to us that if we don’t want to wait we have to make an appointment.

Went over to the mall today for the first time in a long time and wanted to check out a pair of sandals in person I’ve been eyeing. I get to the door and it says “appointment only”. Why would you want to deter customers away? I do not want to be hassled to call and make an appointment. Enough with the over-bearing pandemic nonsense. I’ll guess I’ll order from your website and hope for the best instead of giving a salesperson commission. Not smart Hermes

The King of Prussia store’s customer service has been absolutely terrible. I understand the need for appointments during the time of COVID and I understand it was a very busy holiday season for them, including a 10 day shut down. However, I have simply been trying to make a return or an exchange for over a month and have had no success at making an apt or getting my questions answered. When calling the store, one can not get a human being, you have to leave a voice mail detailing the issues. Many times the voice mailbox is full and you can not even do that. If you get a call back and can answer it, they either immediately disconnect the call or you get told that your original Hermès associate that you made the purchase with will contact you in regards to your concerns. I have not heard from that associate since the day I left the store with my purchase 35 days ago. I will never be shopping at this store again, it’s been a nightmare. Tiffany’s will get my business.

Been seeing some reviews about needing to call ahead for an appointment...Thankfully I had some intuition and just assumed a store like Hermès would require appointments and provide a safe, personalized shopping experience for every customer - so I called ahead and was thankfully able to get in next day.I suppose if I went and I didnt have an appointment, that I might be momentarily tilted... then take a breath... and move on with my day. These precautions are in no way reflective of the store, so its sad to see. If you drove a while to get here and didnt plan ahead, well - plan ahead better?Stop cryin....Anyway. I went there with my wife a few weeks back and purchased a push gift for our upcoming bébé, and I was absolutely thrilled to have Michael Williams assist us with our shopping experience.We were not rushed during our appointment, and we got to enjoy looking at a number of out of reach ceramics, jewelry, and other items in a relaxed, patient manner. Michael encouraged our curiosity, and at the end of the day enjoyed some decent business with us.Thank you again! You make my French wifey very happy

First Hermès shop experience - not so well. The SA was ignoring me and really seems like she didn’t care at all. I don’t even know her name because she never introduced herself. I was so ready to spend some money that day because I drove 3 hours to be there but ended up leaving with sadness.The other SA seems pretty nice but she was with other customers.I wish this was not my first visit to this brand - terrible.

The new store is absolutely beautiful! As a regular LV customer, I never had interest in Hermés until a few years ago. I wasnt sure what to expect when I walked into the store for my first time, but I was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Dawn! She asked if there was anything she could help me with and offered to let me look around the store and shed be available to help if I needed it. I glanced around the store and then asked to see a couple bags. She was very helpful and brought out several different bags and let me try them on and compare them to figure out which style I liked best. Once I decided on a bag, she helped me pick out a couple twillies & showed me different ways to style them with the bag. I never felt rushed & she made me feel super comfortable the entire time. Im certainly not a wealthy person & walked into the store with jeans & a t-shirt on, so I wasnt sure what to expect....but I was blow away at the service I received! Ive been working with Dawn for about 2 years now and shes been awesome to work with! I live out of state but visit family in KOP often and shes even helped ship items to my home!I highly recommend this store! You can walk into the store and not feel pressured or judged at all! Even the security guards are super nice & helpful!

Hermes K of P is my Happy Place! From the moment you walk in the store, everyone greets you with a smile and offers to help you. A special shout out to Effie who goes above and beyond to help you find the right bag/ products for you. She is amazing! But when Effie is off all of the other girls jump right in to make sure your needs are met, Dawn, Jess and Robyn of course! My husband is not a shopper but he loves going to Hermes with me and it is because Effie makes each visit such a fun experience!!

Effie was such a delight to work with and I look forward to her personally being my sales agent whenever I visit Hermès for my needs and wants.I had the pleasure of meeting Effie’s acquaintance on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 and upon entering Hermès, it was busy which is typical for a Saturday at King of Prussia. When I browse, I prefer being left alone until I need assistance which I was promptly helped with by a helpful security personnel who called Effie for me.Effie explained to me the history of what I wanted to purchase, how to care for it and told me she worked at Hermès for 10 years! It shows through her kindness and professionalism.I walked out happy with my purchase and look forward to visiting again!

I went to this store to buy a mothers day gift, I waited there for over an hour to get someone to help me thats after I asked and complained multiple times. The store is a total chaos, they have no idea which customer is next to help yet too lazy to set up a line or register each customer who needs help line the LV store is doing. The sales people are all rude and negligent, If they have a customer and you wait nearby, they gave you a dirty look like who the hell you dont go away. The security guards are equally obnoxious and unhelpful. The service is so pathetic considering the price level, its actually disgusting. I walked out of Hermes decided to get the gift at Chanel, theres no Chanel boutique in the mall but theres a Chanel in Neumann Marcus, I went in, its equally crowded. A sales person who is helping a custom near me come over the second she saw me, she first apologized and said she will be with me right after she is done helping the other customer. Thats what a professionally trained sales staff should be doing apparently they never heard of it at Hermes King of Prussia store. The Chanel sales person efficiently helped the other customer finish her purchase, I can tell the other customer was very happy then she came right over to me, she was knowledgeable and warm, helped me pick a gift Im very happy with. I have to say Im thankful and impressed by Chanel, even though its not a boutique, it provides service as professional and pleasant as I experienced in the Chanel boutique stores I have been to. I find my experience at the Hermes store at King of Prussia shameful and no one has to experience that. Ill tell everyone I know about my experience and not to go there. If theres a negative 5 star, thats what I would rate Hermes at King of Prussia.

I have read a lot about Hermes and was very excited to visit the store. What a huge disappointment. They had virtually no bags to look at, nobody offered to show us anything and they had this unfriendly and unhelpful security guard.

I was at the Hermes King of Prussia store this past weekend, the worst experience ever at any designer boutique. It was a disaster zone there, cant tell who were sales and who were security guards(yes, they had guards there which showed their attitude towards customers), neither of them knew what they were doing. What happened in this store made me feel I was at a busy farmers market, but the way they treated their waiting customers was not even close to a farmers market. The employees there had no courtesy and no etiquette, they had no clue that for luxury products which are not life necessity, only product quality plus excellent service can seal a high ticket deal. Lack of either, customers will switch to another one. The worst part was that they started to play game with and manipulate the waiting customers, and they had no shame and apology for doing so. Will never even go into this pathetic chaos store and will not buy any Hermes products until they close this store. Will share this mistreatment with friends and family without hesitate. If there is negative 7 star, thats what they deserve at this store.Right after I left Hermes store and entered Bottega Veneta, by comparison on professionalism and custom service, a big difference between heaven and dirt. I immediately made the purchases. I want to thank Hermes here for driving me to BV and found my luxury product even better and service non-surpassing. Would suggest Hermes send their employees to intern or apprentice at BV store at King of Prussia Mall. They desperately need this education!

Hermès always employ the worst sales and provide the worst customer service on average among all the luxury brands. This specific store becomes worse than before. Today, after I and my friends looked around several minutes in the store, there were no sales came to ask if we need help. Therefore, we asked a man in the store if there is anyone who can help us on our purchase, but he replied that all the sales were assisting customers and we need to wait in the line. What is the waiting line? Meanwhile, he even not told that we can have a seat in the rest area and wait for the sales. Additionally, I find an interesting situation was that all the Asian customers were browsing around themselves while other customers in different race were supported and I even heard an asking if they need champagne. I understand some customers are more important and they are frequent shoppers so that sales are happy to support them, but people like me may come just several times a year who want to make some purchases may feel bad about the service and maybe even decide not to come again which leads to the loss of a potential loyal customer for the store. In comparison, I suggest people try LV in KOP because I find their improvement on customer services. Right after we came into the LV store, a man asked our names and told us sales were busy at that time and he put our name in the system so that a sales will come to us later. At around 2 min later, a sales came by and ask if we were wait for service. The following purchase was smooth. The sales was patient because my friend asked several styles and colors to make comparison. Good job, LV! Hope to see the change next time, Hermès!

It was so disappointed by the way that how to treat a customer.I got the belt for a gift.I called in to make sure for exchanging the size.I got helped by a sale lady,but she need to be authorized by a higher supervispor.As soon as she knew my situation,all she did just gave me a look, n told the sale lazy for a receipt.Then the so-called supervisor went back to what she was doing.As a customer, I am here at the store for the brand name, of course I would expect a friendly customer service,I don’t expect the so-called supervisor smiles to me but at least a little bit professional inside of cold face.I am sure that I am not a big customer for them,But I am super disappointed by the top famous brand in the world!
