I liked good service and tasty food there. Nice place.
Just finished eating there 1st time and it was amazing! I am looking forward to going again soon! Great food selection in their buffet, the items around the grocery section is just so massive compared to other locations. This is definitely my go to stop for Filipino cuisine and grocery shopping for a taste of the Philippines here in the States! I highly recommend this restaurant! 5 stars!
This restaurant is over rated and overpriced. This is the first place I saw that weights their food even though they have containers from small to large. The taste of the food is not even close to other Filipino restaurants. Also the server or owner is very unfriendly. Definitely will not return or recommend to my friends. Maybe I would recommend to the people I do not like.
Love this place! Ordered a couple dishes for a party and I thought the price was great for the quality & serving size. So good! Salamat😁
Small store, lots of inventory and prepared foods. However, the staff is a bit standoffish and not a friendly as most filipinos. no greetings are given when you enter the store and they dont thank you when you check out. This observation has been made across several visits in the last year.
The fresh food that you can eat at a table there is excellent and they have a great selection of Filipino food to purchase for groceries too. They offer services to ship to the Philippines too. The employees are really nice too. I really recommend visiting to try them out!
Came here yesterday with my family, to have some hot foods and groceries. Their foods are super delicious!delicious!
The prices are a little bit high if youre looking for good Filipino groceries place to go
The best pinoy grocery store and best pinoy foods ever! Contrary to vickas comment about the wife..the wife is so friendly
I just finished shopping here for the first time and it was a really solid experience. The baked goods are fresh and tasty, the buffet food is good, and they have everything on the shelves that you could possibly need.Side note: their restroom is extremely clean for a public place. Actually, the whole place is extremely clean.I recommend you stop by and try it if you’re in the area.
Wish this place was closer and Ill probably be here everyday since I dont cook. Their food is always good and fresh. Great options.
Love the food here and the people. For getting a full combo meal or a snack. Good prices too for bbq pork..its great.
Great food and really wonderful staff. The new seating on the second floor has a great view and is large enough to feel very comfortable socially distanced.
We drive here to get my favorite snacks. I love this place.
Excellent service. Very easy to send Balikbayan boxes to my wife in Pinas. Very friendly.
So glad I did catering order with them for Christmas Eve dinner. Entire family and friends loved the food. Kakanins tasted so authentic! Cant wait to order for next event.
Friendly staff, wide selection of both Latin, and Southeast Asian groceries. The eatery itself makes the visit worth it.
Home away from home
Excellent customer service and awesome food. Philly Pinoy does make you feel like you are back home because of the variety of product offerings and food specials.
Great place for Filipino food and groceries. Largest selection of Filipino fare in Southeast Pennsylvania. The staff and owners are always a pleasure to do business with!
Hidden gem found everything pinoy.
Went here because I thought the food would be good and authentic, and my wife is from the Philippines, so we wanted to try it. The food that was in the steam table that we picked out was all microwaved to heat it up before they served it, all the meat was chewy from being microwaved. Cost $30+ for 3 plates of food. We threw all the food in the trash except the rice I ate which was also disappointing. We left and both had headaches as we started driving down the road. My Philippine wife has been cooking for me since she came here 3 years ago from the Philippines and she could charge $100 a dish for her food compared to what they served us here. The food is terrible and we will never go here again! It’s like we ate Fridays food on a Sunday after they microwaved it to heat it up. Was really hoping for a different experience.
Came to Philly Pinoy last weekend for lunch with friends, the place keeps improving. I had beef caldereta and it was so flavoursome along with pansit and lumpia. Cant wait for my next visit.Very clean and professional environment 👌 👏 👍 i would definitely recommend
You can find a lot of Filipino stuff youre craving for at Philly Pinoy. Their food is also legit! Staff is pretty friendly, I always feel like Im back home when Im there. lol
Okay for a quick fix to satisfy Filipino food/snacks craving if nearby.
I adore this restaurant very much. there is a special spirit. The meals are marvelous. the service is powerful and the crew is trained. The cost is satisfactory. greatly recommend.
The food is consistently well prepared and flavorful, staff members hands out fantastic customer service. I loved how neat it is and vibes. Would recommend to others.
One of the cleanest ever !
Clean and nice place the staff are friendly and good service . They made a good improvement to the store and the food was good too👍🏻
Grocery experience good, lots of selections.Buffet food experience not good. Chicken inasal still has blood dripping inside; dinuguan has more tendons than meat; barbeque meat are hard and sliced way too big, sauce not authentic Filipino BBQ; sisig has more pig parts (ear, face) than meat; atchara has no distinct taste, palabok gave us stomach ache, ginataan smells spoiled already. Overall, food not recommended for authentic Pinoy food.
I had to lower their rating to 3 stars after todays experience.Took the whole family for Halo Halo to cool down and it was very disappointing ~ lacked flavor and ingredients, it was pure ice.We complained, they didnt take any action to the point where I had to ask for a refund (not the whole purchase but for just one)Will go back for the food but definitely NOT for Halo Halo.
I always come by buying some food in this spot. I loved the rapid service and well made food. They never disappoint.
Great Filipino lunch specials! We ordered food for two of us oh, and it was enough to take home for dinner also! $20! Also a great Filipino grocery store inside!
This spot never fails to deliver. They have awesome dishes for reasonable pricing, there are no long waits even when they are full.
This Place is very clean and they have everything you will be looking for, everything is organized well that its so easy to find everything you are looking for, If you are a Pinoy or likes Filipino food then this is the place to go! 2 thumbs up.
Kudos to friendly staff. Well stocked all around especially the imported ice cream. Good cooked food.
Their Filipino food is excellent. Masarap! Recently moved back to the US after living in the Philippines, and this place helped make the transition easier. The grocery section is well stocked, though I think it would be nice if they included more items that are hard to find in the US. Things like tabo, 7D dried mangos, souvenirs, etc.
Great place to get a bite to eat and go grocery shopping for hard to get Filipino products.
Well-stocked Grocery store dedicated to very large varieties of Filipino food & snacks! Helpful store employees. Very convenient. Dont need to go far!
A great place to stop eat for a delicious Filipino meal and grocery.
Best place to shop and eat for all things Filipino in the KOP, Norristown, Plymouth Meeting, Valley Forge, Conshohocken, or other suburbs of Philadelphia. The only people who hate on this place are white people without culture in their lives. One time I was looking for Lumpia (Filipino Egg Rolls) ingredients and found most of what I needed aside from the meat and produce, right here. Shortly after serving my small company the lumpia, I became an instant legend. The food is very good and the items in the store are authentic imports from the Philippines. The staff in general are very friendly and can help you if you are too white for the store. P.S. if you can speak Tagalog (The mysterious language of the Philippines) then you will be considered a regular here and acknowledged via first name basis.
Good food and variety of filipino products
Great variety of Filipino Food
Wow just stumbled upon this place by chance. Had actually planned to go to brigeport rub house but then saw this and thought to give it a try. Amazing food. Also value for money considering this might be the only Philippines cuisine outlet in kop. Had sisisg barbequed pork and chicken curry. If you love pork then you cant miss this place. Food was amazing. This is going to be my Sunday place to go from now on to explore their other curries.
Just opened a bigger store and restaurant upstairs! Awesome place good philapino food
Small but excellentUpdate: since they upgraded the place their Toro Toro is bigger and better. They have a dine in area and the market is much bigger now. All in all great.
Good selection of Filipino goods, great service.
They have a great meat department people are friendly and there are always stocked and have great prices
Im Filipino and Im glad I found this place. They have a friendly staff, clean environment and Authentic flipino foods including all time favorites like adobo, diniguan, sisig, lechon kawali, just to name a few. They also have Halo Halo and other flipino classics.
Happened to see on way home from work. Authentic pinoy food brands. Small store that is completely stocked. Has food buffet for takeout on saturday and sunday only. Homemade desserts to go....Magnolia ice cream, salted eggs, snack container of dilis, and mong tomas sarsa, goldilocks prepackaged sweets..e.g.. Polvaron are some of sundries they have. Items are $$, but like any specialty store that is to be expected. The achara was delicious as was the maho blanco. The owner is really nice also.
This is a Great Store, they have everything my Asawa likes and more !!
Wonderful little spot, with great food and a great selection of Filipino groceries!
Loved this Filipino Store. Very Convenient and lots of Pinoy Products...
Food & service is good, but I didnt really like the loud rap music.
