I am very pleased with the job they did at brake masters. They were informative, professional and extremely helpful. Beau and Gary made me feel like family and they cared. It’s not easy nowadays to find a reputable business that looks out for their customers. There’s no other place I would take my vehicle for repair. They have a customer for life. The crew was super friendly and very accommodating. The work was done with professionalism and promptly. They even saved me money on work that didnt need to be done. This is the second experience I have had with them and I dont see myself going anywhere else. It is with good conscious that I recommend this shop.

They told me I needed a front right upper control arm which I ordered from Rock Auto. Turns out to be its the driver side upper control arm. Wasted 3 days because they dont know left from right. They overcharge for labor also at $140 an hour. Do not trust their supposed expertise

I made an appointment for a routine oil change. The lady on the phone was rude and snippy. At my appointment the lady comes to tell me I need new brakes ASAP and though she can save me money (by pointing all over the paper and talking a thousand words a minute) it will still cost me $830. I said no and I sought a 2nd opinion. Not surprised that I was told my brakes were fine and I haven’t had any issues. So they were trying to scam me out of quite a bit of money. They were not dressed professionally I saw one guy with his shirt untucked walking around in sandals. It’s sad this place seems to have gone downhill or be going through a rough patch because I used to love going to them for service. I recommend you ask them to show you proof of what needs fixing or get a second opinion. And hopefully the lady will work on her customer service skills.

They were friendly and honest. They didnt assume the worst first. Spent less money than expected and all work completed in a timely manner. Thank you Beau and Nathan.

They gave me an inflated estimate of over a thousand dollars to repair my truck. Took it to big O tire Co. They repaired it for 350.00. Not the first time they tried to make unnecessary repairs.

I am blown away by how wonderful this company was to me, particularly Eric & Mike. During a cross-country road trip, I became stranded with 2 dogs, a bicycle, and 8 weeks worth of stuff in my car. Disastrous, but Brake Masters stayed open a little late on a Saturday to accept my tow, and allowed me to keep everything secured in their bldg until I figured things out. They determined engine had seized with no warning, got new/used prices to replace engine, contacted Subaru to see if theyd help in any way, and eventually kept my totaled car until its pick-up by church I donated it to. These guys know their stuff, they listen well, and go out of their way to be helpful & affordable. Im very grateful.

Wife took my truck for complete brake job, so I could keep my schedule at work.1200.00$+; and there were no new drums, wheel cylinders, even the e-brake was way out of adjustment.Started leaking, had to add brake fluid...Again, wife took it in, and they SWEAR it a rear axle seal - 600.00$+...still leaks - had to (still)add brake fluid because it was promised that the rear axle seal was the issue.Money-grubbing, thieves that will say whatever they can make you believe to dig deeper in your pocket while not addressing the issue.NEVER, EVER take your vehicle here - especially if you are a woman - they will take advantage of you.

Ben and Gary were very understanding and helpful during my visit. Its hard to not feel like youre going to be taken advantage of at the mechanics when you know nothing about cars, but these guys were definitely on my side. I want over charged and they explained things to me in a way I could comprehend. Horrible. You make an appointment and then got told it will be an hour and a half wait past my appt time and to come back, suck3d it up and came back just to be told i should have waited and it will now be another 2 hours. First and last time going there. Dont waste your time

Charged $467 just to changed brake pads..Told me 467 for a wheel alignment and brakes shoes...cancelled alignment..Ok the brake change and went to pick it up 7 hours later to this large bill and all they offered a $35 coupon..3x what brakes cost any where..Wont make this mistake again..lesson learned..

The service people went above the call of duty to make sure I had the right battery for my cadillac and installed it. They stayed with the problem until it was solved. I appreciate their good service.

Had the brakes on my truck changed here,when I got my truck back it pulled to the right, and my brake light was now on. It wasnt when I left it. They claimed it was from nothing they did, and could not figure out why it was on now. Never did they pull the tires back off to see if they left the brake thingy .. 😆 unplugged ...and obviously I dont do brakes....onions to Brake Masters and for the 4 test drives they took in my truck..

The team at Brake Masters know that anyone who walks through their door is not just another customer or job, they are people too. From casual friendly conversation, to respect and honesty, I can say I was impressed. Ben was upfront with us, explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. The gentleman the did our brake check and changed the pads (Adrian or Aaron possibly... sorry Im not so good with names but I do remember it started with an A) showed me what was wrong, explained why it was an issue, even showed me examples to compare it to when I asked, and answered my questions even though they probably seemed silly or outrageous. The other gentleman in the front office (didnt catch his name) was kind and friendly. Though for our time there we didnt have dealings directly with him, we got to watch him interact with other customers. He is a genuine person with compassion and respect. Today I went to brake masters frustrated and stressed over the issues with my car. I left with confidence that I was safe on the road again, a MUCH better attitude and perspective, new knowledge, an appreciation for the Brake Masters team, and gratitude for being treated like a person with a reminder of just how important that is for everyone and how much of a difference it can make in someones day. While my wallet may not feel the same lol, I will be happy to return to finish the work that needs to be done, and will definitely be recommending to family, friends, and acquaintances!!

They were very honest, professional and thorough. had a slight squeak and when I took my car in it did not need brakes but they were honest enough to tell me. Instead of charging me for something I dont need they cleaned my brakes and let me know to come in for re-inspection.

My wifes brakes went out on her Suburban. She looked under the rear end and saw oil dripping down the differential from a broken brake line. She was two hours from home, and I was a thousand miles away and couldnt help her. Purely because of the Google reviews of Brake Masters in Kingman Arizona, I made one call and Beau took care of me and told her to come right in. She limped her Suburban right over, and she went to get her nails done nearby while they put the truck up on the lift immediately. She was out the door in less than 2 hours, and the bill was extremely reasonable. She was impressed with the professionalism and I was impressed with the willingness to help someone in trouble. Thanks Beau!

What a sham. I made an appointment with them and when it finally came they told me it would be about another hour and half. When I came back they said another hour and half. Why even make an appointment if they weren’t gonna keep it? Taking my business somewhere else.

I had an appointment at 9am. I was early I got here at 8:40. I got checked in and sat down. I saw slow service. Employees standing around and talking.that happened about 3 times. 9:41 . They still didnt bring my car into the garage to so an oil change. Got up and asked how long it will be. They said another 20 minutes. I got my keys and left. The only reason I came back was it didnt take that long last time I was here. Last time it only took an hour from check in early to having my car done. I will not come back here again. Never had slow service like this before. And I have been here 3 times before.

I dropped my vehicle off to get a rear brake inspection low and behold I needed new rear brakes. At the end of the day something didnt go right after I picked it up the vehicle. And I had to have it towed back. Without question they just took care of it!! Such a wonderful group of guys I really appreciated the level of customer service that I received here. Being in the same industry for most of my life. This hands down was a breath of fresh air to see acompany care so much about their customers which is sad to say hard to come by in this industry.I appreciate the good work and you always have my business!

Tried to schedule an appointment for an alignment but were out of available spaces that day, which is fine. was told i’d get a call back the next day, waited two days and didn’t. when i finally scheduled one and took it in they told me i needed all new ball joints, steering knuckle, and tie rods. said they’d work up ₐ price for me. ended up taking my truck to mohave utility and turns out everything was fine, i just needed a passenger side tie rod, and ended up going to stockton hill tire, for my alignment and have had not one problem. if you’re gonna run a business don’t be lying.

Mike was professional and courteous. Arrived early for my appointment and was taken right in. Intended to replace brakes on both axles but Mike said lets inspect first! Turned out only needed rear brakes and the price I was quoted over the phone is the price I paid. Very satisfied and would recommend Mike and the crew.

They failed to install the wheel or axle dust cover correctly, so it came off and was mangled. I had to order the part from Swantys to fix it. They didnt offer to pay for the part or do the repair. It was only $6, but was a major inconvenience. I spent over $1600 for new breaks and was inconvenienced by their mistake. I had to pull the tire off twice. Once to diagnose the noise coming from the wheel and then to do the repair after I received the part. When you spend so much money, you dont expect to have to do an additional repair to finish the job correctly, but obviously they do.

Was able to align my car change my fluids during my long work day. Everything was perfect when I got off. thanks Mike.

Very bad service and not customer friendly work was done brakes fell off in first 35 miles,ball joints were never seated,this could of been very catastrophic if would of been on interstate bolts were left completely out non existent...wow 13 year old with 0 experience could of done better.

Some of the nicest people I have encountered. I came in with a simple problem with my ABS sensor and they diagnosed it and even suggested that I take care of it through my Toyota warranty. They could have easily told me I needed to have it replaced by them but they chose to be honest instead.

Excellent service with highly knowledgeable employees and very fair pricing. I have never had a bad experience here, 10/10 would recommend!

Needed my front brake pads replaced, they needed to inspect my engine and back brakes to see if they were able to change my front brakes. Unnecessarly long 3 hour experience. 130$ for it all. Pretty gay

I have been bringing my vehicle here for years. They are straight with me and dont try to sell me unnecessary repairs. They also do so much more than brakes and have been able to handle every problem my SUV has thrown at them.

So I went to get an oil change called and made an appointment. At the time I made the appointment gave the car information and everything. They quoted me 24.95. I went into the establishment to get it done. Now they said it would be 59.95. Im sorry thats not ok.

Called Brake Masters at 1pm today asked if I could make an appointment for an oil change. They said bring your car in right away within the next 10 minutes we can get you in. They called me told me about a cracked hose. Found me a hose in the shop, didnt even charge me for the part because they already had it. Changed out my windshield wipers free of charge cuz I had the parts even put my brand new license plate on my car these guys went above and beyond I couldnt be happier!They just made me a loyal customer for life!Thank you Eric and the awesome mechanics at Brake Masters!

I went to Brake Masters on Jan 16th late in the afternoon. Had a bad wheel bearing. They took me in right away and had the part within 10 minutes and had me out in time to pickup my dog at the vet. Would highly recommend them. Very nice people.

Horrible service. Employees are rude. I went in to have new shocks and struts put on my truck. They tried to tell me I needed 1500 in repairs. I took my truck to another shop. They told me I did not need all the repairs. Brake Masters wanted to do. Do not go to Brake Masters they will rip you off.

My first visit here a few months ago was nothing short of fantastic! My second visit last week was very disappointed at best. I dont like being lied too, and when I asked the customer service representative about the tires being rotated, he said they were! Well l looked at them when I got home, 20 miles away and found out they were not. I called back and they said they forgot, even though I had paid to have that done ! Really, you just lost a customer and raised all sorts of red flags about how this company does business! Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When in to have a alignment on my car . They said they couldnt do it. I needed to replace items. Said ok order them . Now I have been calling for almost 4 weeks every other day. Today I called cause they said Saturday at the latest. Now they say they never ordered anything, no record of me and the guy that been talking to quit. Wft I could of had my car fixed somewhere else.

They didnt do my front struts correct they left parts off and i had to drive all the way back from Dolan Springs to get the parts and finished it myself.

Eric was super friendly, i dont know much about cars but he made sure to show and explain things to me. I highly recommend them for your brake needs.

I was totally upset with this location. I had an appointment for an alignment at 8:00am. The alignment bay was open when I arrived. They indicated that it would take about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to do the alignment. After waiting for nearly 1 hour, they still did not take my car in for the alignment. They put another vehicle ahead of me. I dont know how others feel, but I had other things to do in the morning. I guess that the give appointments just to get you in, then do work for whoever they want. They dont have negative stars, but I will not recommend this store to anyone, even my worst enemy.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change they were very nice and it was done with in the time they told me Im hoping I have as good as an experience at 730 this morning for an alignment after reading the other reviews makes me a little hesitant but we shall see and Ill be back to report my experience

Went there today based on a recommendation; when I mentioned the reviews, I was told there was a new manager (Mike Brown) and I wouldnt be disappointed. I have to admit; I was very impressed. The work was started right away; when a problem with the rotors was found, it was reviewed with me, and I was taken out to the bay to see the problem first hand. We decided it could wait until a subsequent weekday (since it would involve several hours). I can count on one hand the number of times that a garage owner has explained a problem in detail and showed it to me.Mike and his assistant were engaging with all the customers in the room, and Mike often left the waiting room to inspect/oversee the work of his mechanics, pitching in on several cars in the process. Kudos for a hands-on manager!

Fast oil change at a good deal

Brought my car in because the breaks are really squeaky and on the verge of grinding. I made an appointment the day prior because I have a baby and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t there for hours. I got there at my appointment time and still had to wait an hour before they even pulled my car in. By that point I was waiting at del taco watching them through the window . They took another hour to take my car apart all for them to tell me there is nothing wrong with my breaks. Yeah that’s a lie . These people are scams . I took it to another place and there was something wrong with them . Thank you again break masters for wasting my time . Why make people appointments if you can’t even get them in at that specific time? I could of showered and got my son ready instead of rushing over there at 7 am im the morning for you guys to do absolutely nothing. Also there was an unsatisfied customer in their office while I was waiting to get my keys back and they were not acting professional or nice to her at all . Big thumbs down and you have lost my service for good . Don’t waste your time here people !

Update 8/22/2015: I have still not been reimbursed for a dispute I had with them over 2 years ago, despite spending ~$1200.00, even after repeated contact and filing a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. Worst experience ever.Context: I paid them ~$1200 to have my air conditioning unit fixed. It broke less than 18 hours later, due to an improperly installed, broken gasket. Now, they wont work with me to reimburse my money. They tell me the repair is out-of-warranty because of something they never informed me of, so I have to eat the cost of the repair. Additionally, my engine rattles when I start the car because the new compressor I purchased from them was installed improperly (stripped screw). The rattling caused further damage to my engine, which I had to have repaired separately.Repeated calls, messages, and emails to customer service have failed, and their corporate office representative, Timothy Harphant, does not seem to care what the situation is -- he merely takes a strict, hardline no-refunds policy. I have been threatened with legal action if I proceed to contact them as a means of avoiding negotiation for reimbursement.The only solution they offered would cost me 2 - 3 times more money than Ive already spent, just for them to reimburse me the cost of the compressor: specifically, they told me to get a 3rd party company to remove the compressor, so that I could ship it back to them for a small amount of money back. I would have to eat the costs of their failed labor, as well as shipping and handling, and restocking fees, etc. I would also have to have the same repair done all over again by a different company and hope that they actually know what theyre doing.Im sorry, but these people are freaking crooks man!
