Truly exceptional service. New to Kingman and this is my shop now. He made adjustments to my bike I never would have thought to ask for and the ride quality of the bike has never been better. Prices are incredible too. In depth explanations and he doesnt take advantage of customers.

Ed is the best bike shop owner Ive ever worked with. Hes extremely knowledgeable about bikes, the engineering and technology behind bike building, trail building and systems, and the general area. Whenever I come in he treats my bike with respect and dignity, often taking it upon himself to put it up on his bike stand and lube up the chain. Hes enthusiastic about getting people excited about cycling and empowering them to have the best possible experiences in the saddle. Ed was awesome and very helpful. I called all the shops in town as I was going to be flying in and visiting my brother who lives in town. Ed was by far the most helpful before I even left the east coast. I got there and he set me up to ride by assembling my bike and giving me the the run down on local trails. He was also very awesome to just talk bikes and riding with. When it was time to fly home he packed my bike up and wished me the best. The Spokesmann is pretty rad dude🚴‍♂️🤙. The next time Im in town Im definitely gonna have to swing by. 5 put of 5 from this guy

The owner, Ed is a classic example of a bike guy. Super knowledgeable, will be happy to send you off with some good advice rather than fix something that doesnt need fixing. You cant go wrong if you go to the Spokesman!!!

The jam. Definitely knows what’s up and how to take care of bike enthusiasts. Goes out of his way to make sure you are safe on your bike. Definitely professional. Won’t clamp your bike by the frame and scratch it all up. So to the guy who complained about that and only that, get a life.

Great work. Had to get my bike fixed while traveling through Kingman. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the bike quickly incurring lots of additional cost.

Ed, the owner, was unusually thorough about doing adjustments. However, this doesnt make up for the inexcusably horrible customer service. He forced an argument with a first-time customer, merely because he didnt wish to respect my simple preference regarding the bike mounting method. I dont like it when bike mechanics pick it up or mount the bike by the seat post, causing the tail light mount to get knocked out of position. Picking up / mounting by the frame easily prevents this. He argued that the frame tends to get scratched, is why he wasnt willing to do it. All it takes is putting some soft material in the bike clamp to prevent that, never mind that my frame is already scratched, as I pointed out. But, he was quite stubborn and unwilling to respect my wishes.In fact, he childishly wasnt willing to work on the bike if he couldnt do it his way. Quite the arrogant attitude he knows best or knows all, and doesnt care what a customer prefers or knows. Customer service CANNOT GET ANY WORSE than this my-way-or-the-highway disrespectful attitude. I did nothing to justify his totally confrontational and unreasonable behavior. He was a genuine total a--hole, right off the bat.Also, he originally told me the wheel cost $65. In fact, it cost $45, plus $20 labor. He was never forthcoming about this, and only after the fact was it shown on the receipt.Needless to say, I will not ever do business here again. If those writing the numerous positive reviews were aware of how despicably some customers are treated, they may realize just how misdirected their reviews were.

I, being a fool, got a flat and then proceeded to wreck my rim. It was an absolute, absolute disaster, especially as Im touring!! But the folks at The SpokesMann truly went above and beyond to help me out.In the most inventive and creative fashion Ive seen in a bike shop, I walked out better than ever with a new rim and a great experience. I cannot say it loud enough - this is THE place to bring your bike, and they will not disappoint. Great people, great results.

Awesome shop and owner is extremely knowledgeable on all things bikes. Ed has been working on bikes his whole life and is a trusted name in town. He just recently went out on his own to open a shop. Ed is the only bike mechanic in town that I would trust to work on my bikes, and since most bikes are the cost of a small passenger car these days, the mechanic you take your equipment to should be highly trained like Ed. The other thing I love about the way the shop is operated is that there won’t be a salesmen there trying to sell you useless stuff you don’t need to get riding. The shop operates in a manner that is all about keeping you in the saddle and pedaling no matter what you type of bike you pedal or whether your bike cost 10k or 100 bucks, Ed will get you what you need to keep pedaling. Five stars for this shop all the way around! Plus his shop is dog friendly which means you can take fido with you while you’re getting your bike worked on. You will not be sorry you took your bike here or bought a new bike. Ed is also super knowledgeable about all the local riding spots so if you’re from out of town be sure to stop in!
