Highly recommend this jewelry store. The people are so sweet and friendly. They treated us like royalty even after we told them we were on a budget. They never once acted like they didn’t have time for us or like our business was less important because we weren’t spending that much. We will always give them our business.

My visit to Dellinger is always a pleasant visit. I like window shopping and checking on things that are new in the store. I went to get a battery put in my watch and to see if another watch could be fixed. I enjoyed my visit today. 😊

Bought a few charms to add to my charm bracelet from here. They sawdered them on, which they did a decent job of. 3 sterling silver charms, and sawdering them was $70. Only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars is their PRICES. They are definitely on the higher end.

TL;DR = outstanding and incredibly affordable.I was searching for an engagement ring for my fiancee, and her family recommended Lou Dellingers shop in Kings Mountain. I am so glad they did, as Lou and his staff are exceptional in every respect. In addition to extraordinary customer service that went well beyond anything I expected, his pricing is remarkably reasonable. For example, we wished to incorporate a stone from my fiancees grandmothers ring into the engagement ring. Most jewelry shops charge a large resetting fee (often above $1000). Lou did not charge any resetting or other hidden fees, and the cleaning and polishing of the stone, along with the formal appraisal, were included in the purchase price of the setting! Thats virtually unheard-of. I cannot recommend Dellingers enough. They have a customer for life.

When I buy jewelry this is where I go. Great quality at an honest price. Ive been a customer for 25 years, Lou and all the staff there are always welcoming, helpful and informative. Ive not been disappointed yet, always happy to have come to them for help. Hey, dont just believe me, my Dad introduced me to Lou and his Dad Louis, so my family has been happy here for some time!

Ive bought some things, had rings sized and watch batteries. My latest purchase was a gold cross and chain. Very satisfied with the Cross and the overall experience. Nice friendly hometown people.

Friendly, helpful, efficientand and reasonable.

I recently had two rings sized and one of them also repaired. One fit great, the one repaired was considerably too large. I went with what was the suggested size and lou even explained size difference is typical between left and right hands. At check out, after realizing the ring was too large, Lou pointed to notes saying customer requested it and would charge me labor again to resize the ring to fit correctly but otherwise indignant. I don’t recall going with any size other than what was suggested after trying on ring sizes. Yet Lou stood his ground and pointed to a sign about sizing. For the ring that still didn’t fit after paying repair and resizing of $266, I went elsewhere. Another jeweler showed me how the ring was actually made larger than a 6.5 size. When I asked her if the ring did not fit how would they handle and she said they would modify it until it fit correctly. That is the customer service I would expect. I will not be going back to have rings sized at Dellingers as a result of their business protocol and customer service. Thought it was worth sharing so others might know as well in case it comes back and doesn’t fit as you would expect.

We have visited several times and purchased on three occasions from this business since moving to NC in June of 16.On my latest visit I had been doing chores and was dressed very raggy... An old army coat, stained oily jeans, beat up sneakers and at least a week of scruff on my face. Admittedly I look like a vagrant.Although I was treated pleasantly to my face, I left my contact information with the owner who was supposed to get back in touch with me the next morning after calling his supplier about a specific ring.I never received that phone call. I want really surprised though. As I said, I want treated rudely but I did leave with the feeling that they didnt expect any sale or business from me.Next time, Ill go dressed similarly again and see how things go.

They had my earrings for over a year and didnt fix them. They never called to say they couldnt fix them. I am not going there again.

I bought my wifes engagement/wedding rings here 4 years ago and have never regretted it. Heres why:-Mr. Dellinger was very helpful and about the complete opposite of the cocky salesmen I ran into at other chain jewelry stores-Huge selection of engagement ring bands and diamonds of all shapes, sizes, and prices-Customizable band/diamond combinations so you can get an engagement ring that is unique and not one of the countless ring clones you see in chain stores-No outrageous markup-I got the ring for about $800 less than a few other rings I looked at in the other jewelry stores. All were made of the same material and had diamonds the same size as the one I got at Dellingers-Without me asking, Mr. Dellinger gave me free ring cleanings (I think for life), and a free re-plating for the rings (I think thats what it was called...its been 4 years)-Left the store feeling like I had made a good purchase and not feeling like I was cheated out of money or quality.
