The people working here are very helpful snd the store is clean. Use their online app to order and save alot. It more than offsets taxes and you dont have to wait for someone to look up your parts.

My family and I have been extremely loyal customers to this specific advance auto parts store for my entire life. However, today I was somewhat disappointed in the service. I went to purchase a new battery because the one in my car was dead. I bought the battery that’s already in my car from this exact same store back in 2017, and they installed it for me. Today the guy told me he could not install the new battery for me because it was too time consuming. I just don’t understand how they installed the previous battery 3 years ago, but they can’t install the new one for me now. I find this hard to believe, and honestly think the guy just didn’t want to spend the time helping me out. Needless to say, I purchased the new battery & will be finding a gentlemen to help me out.
When the lines get long there is simply not enough help. Also, I noticed the online store is cheaper than actually getting it at the store. The folks seem nice. No prob with them. I think they need to schedule in more people or find a way to do self checkout when all you need is a few normal things.
Ive lived in Kingsland for over 35 years, My wife and I have been shopping at Advance Auto Parts for a very long time and stopped shopping there a few years ago due to poor service and rude associates. On Saturday I stopped in to price some parts, man has the entire environment changed. I was greeted as I walked in the door and was very impressed with John. Every employee was helping customers and having fun doing it. Im not sure who the manager is but they did a great job with this store, Looks great too! I think I will start shopping here again!!!

I had a bad alternator on my Toyota Camry 2005. I got the car the car to this store very close to the closing time, and the store manager was very helpful in terms of giving me a new alternator without taking the core back from me.The entire store was very helpful in the process of helping me find a good mechanic for changing the alternator on my car. If I lived in that place, I would go there again. Wonderful business, wonderful people! Saved my day.
Went for wipers on sister-in-laws Rav-4. Jesse was of great help; he helped us install all 3 wipers with no charge. Thanks Advance and a big thank you to Jesse. Great selection at fair prices...will go back!
Great customer service
My husband and I went there in hopes to get help. We needed them to hook up the diagnostic test and he gave the machine to my husband and said here you go. My husband explained to him that he didnt know how to use it and the guy said I have no one to help you. I found it hard to believe that since there was 2 other people in the store. So my husband took it out and did his best and took a picture of the screen than we go back in this happened twice and the guy says I dont know you have to take it to a mechanic.
This location always has the slowest service. Ive tried this location several times in hopes of quicker service. Your better option is the Saint Marys location.
I recently visited the Kingsland store to have my battery checked. Despite it being 8:30 at night, I was quickly tended to by David. The check came back that I had a bad cell, and he was able to check the functioning of my alternator, which was still okay.Paid for the battery (they had a coupon special he told me about-win, with a 36-month warranty), and out he went with his tool cart to change it out for me.It seemed quite difficult to get out from its tightly tucked in spot. Once out he was able to show me the corrosion from the leaking acid and that it definitely was a good idea to change it out. He worked really hard to clean off the bolts/nuts and connections from corrosion and get the new battery in place.He paid special attention to getting all his tools and pieces out from under the hood and it started up beautifully. David explained every step of the process so that I could understand what was going on and his knowledge about vehicles made me feel comfortable and trusting in his ability to do this correctly and safely. He was very hospitable and kind to do this at 9:00 in the dark (only the light from the parking lot and his flashlight) to get the job done.From start to finish, I am very grateful for the service at this store and would definitely go back if I had any problems, questions, or needed anything in the future. David had a wealth of knowledge and was very focused on securing a positive customer-service experience.

What is it about auto parts stores that makes a quick trip turn into standing in line for at least 10 minutes? Like all auto parts stores, the checkout process takes way too long. The store is generally well stocked and clean. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall its your average parts store.
As always, Advance Auto in Kingsland is very helpful. Great staff always willing to help. If they do not have a part available they are very prompt about getting you the part, fast.
Advanced Auto Parts is a nice store, with friendly & helpful employees. They have good stock on hand. I am knocking one star because eveyr time I go in I have to wait 10 or 15 minutes to get helped. I appreciate how they take their time with customers but it would be nice if they could work out something a little more efficient (even if I have found all my own items to buy theres usually no one free to just work a cash register, which seems like it would be an easy problem to solve). Other than that I am very happy with Advance and will continue to shop here.
This AAP is ALWAYS busy and most of the time has only one cashier. Makes for a long wait time. Great prices though.

My mom and I were traveling down to Florida when my AC conked out. We stopped in this store to get an AC recharge kit, and were treated like family. When my battery died and needed to be replaced under warranty I had no trouble. I did not even have the receipt, but they were able to look up the transaction with my phone number. No questions asked. Will shop here in the future because they stand by the products they sell.

We (two adults and two small children) were on our way back from vacationing in Florida near Ft. Myers, and our air conditioning suddenly stopped working in the truck so we decided to stop at this Advance Auto Parts to try to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly. Well, once we turned to truck off, we couldnt get it to start again. We were stranded, texting a mechanic, calling the local dealership, etc trying to figure out the problem, and a few of the employees were trying to help us check battery/fuses/wiring etc with just no luck. After a while of sitting outside in the parking lot waiting on a cab and a tow truck, I took my son inside to use the restroom and the manager was so kind, he didnt realize we were still waiting on a cab, so he had someone else keep an eye on the store while he gave us a ride to the dealership, then to a local hotel, and as if that wasnt already kind enough, he even bought us a gift card to pay for our dinner! This man went above and beyond for us, and we were so gracious! Come to find out the main wiring harness on the truck had somehow come loose, so after driving a rental back to VA we had to drive back to GA to pick up the truck. What a great crew that really helped us while we were stranded! Thank you.

I bought brake pad, rotors, and a 6 piece impact driver set about a month ago for my wifes car. I didnt use the impact driver and today went to exchange it so I could use the $ towards my purchase. Mike called me a liar and wouldnt honor the company exchange policy thats states if u have a valid photo ID you can exchange for store credit.. I spoke with customer service and now I will drive to the st marys location so I dont have to be called a liar ever again..pissed off is the word..

On May 31st 2013, I can say was the worst history I have ever had while traveling. I was halfway between my home and destination when I began to have trouble with my serpentine belt, on an interstate in a rainstorm, with my family that led to us being stranded from 2 am till 7:30 am on that interstate at an ag inspection station. The patrol was exceptional but were not able to help, I called the Advance Auto at 760 E King Ave, in Kingsland GA as soon as they opened, not only did they have the belt but they delivered it free of charge. When Robert arrived he made sure the belt was attached properly before leaving. Two miles down the road, again we had the same trouble only with a new belt this time.. We limped the car into Advances parking, and spent the entire day, till 8 pm working on the car, eventually having to replace the water pump. Which involved lifting the entire engine block to take out the old and replace with the new one, again Robert was a god send. Leonard, the store manager was quite understanding and provided top shelf customer service. Having limited car repair knowledge and only the tools that the store had on hand, Robert went out of his way, to ensure we had the proper tools and knowledge needed to complete the task and get back on the road. With this extra attention, me and my family were able to make it to our destination safely. This experience and these two wonderful people, restored my faith in the value of customer service. If asked for a star rating, they excel far above the standard five star.
