The wait time to get your item once an associate has been notified is the shortest of all the stores Ive used. And I use all the major retailers in the area, and its not even close. I have never waited more than 45 seconds to get my items once an associate has been notified. BEST CURBSIDE PICKUP PROCESS HANDS DOWN
I went to guest services for a return. I was satisfied with the cashier, Kayla, She was great in handling my return. Great personality.
My only real complaints are that a lot of items buy one get one half off dont actually ring up correctly and you pay full price unless you catch it and let them know. I bought an R/C car for my son at a different store and it was exactly $20 less then Target. They are definitely overpriced. This location seem to have more issues with price issues. The icee machine is always broken too and the popcorn could be more fresh, I had burned kernels too. The Starbucks is always good. I stop in only a few times a year.

The Target pickup makes my life so much easier. After working all day I usually just want to go straight home. So when I need to make a purchase it’s so much easier to shop online and just go pick it up. Wish I had discovered this sooner!
My niece used the baby shower registry and it was so quick and easy to pick something out, then check out knowing I had got exactly the right thing. Pickup was quick and pleasant, as well.

I like Target better than Walmart!! But lets work on a few things. Make sure you have staff to checkout the customers. At this time nobody wants to stand I need line waiting because there are no registers open. Most of all have the items you are advertising on sale!!

The pivk up is so easy
In July of 2019 I stood in Targets Starbucks for 8 minutes with my children. For 8 minutes we were completely ignored even though I was clearly waiting at the counter- close enough to rest my hands on it. I was there and there were no other customers. There were two baristas working. I waited patiently for someone to greet me. No one even looked at me. A man came in and was greeted and served- right in front of me and my children- and yet we were treated as though we did not exist. I am writing this on the anniversary of having been treated so horribly to let you know that my kids remember how they were treated that day. That they were hurt by it, and that no one has ever responded to my complaint even though I reported it. Just imagine your child remembering such a thing a year later and not being able to explain why.

Theyd rake the money in if theyd just staff the checkouts instead of trying to drive you to self checkout by artificially creating large lines at the two lanes actually staffed every time Im shopping there.

Questionable hiring practices. I know a person 18 years old senior in high school, applied for a position any position. She had 11 months experience in cashiering and stocking product. Awesome work record on top of it. Her current employer was never called for verification but she received a letter that she wasnt what they were looking for. She moved to the area 5 years ago and has a northern accent was this the reason she was overlooked? If it was how long does someone have to live here to qualify for a job, her family has paid weighty taxes and thousands at the store while here as well. What happened to our customers make the best employee s. Why bother interviewing her at all if this was the issue. Certainly not being qualified carried weight in their decision as she has more experience then many, not to mention she had to go in on days off due to the locals that lived 10 minutes away kept calling off due to weather in the forecast. She merely didnt want to continue to drive 45 minutes to work one way each day during the winter as knowing how to do snow removal here is not heard of.
I always have a positive experience at Target. The employees are very friendly and happy to help if I need help. The Target employee I talked to today was very nice and personable. The Cartwheel app makes it easy to save money and find things in the store if I dont know where to look.

Clean store and great products you cant find anywhere else
I had a sleeping baby with me and was able to drive up and connect my location. It was SO ideal for a momma. Especially since my little one had been fighting sleep for hours and was snoozing away. I didn’t have to make a peep or wake her by getting out of the car and dragging her into the store. The store associate was outside with my entire pickup order as soon as I pulled up. All I had to do was sign and wallah! Oh and did I mention it’s all for FREE!

This is probably my favorite Target in the Tri-Cities area. All of them are nice, but the Kingsport location feels modern, and has self-checkouts. The second-most modern is probably Bristol, but the lack of self-checkouts makes quick purchases a bit more bothersome. Johnson City is the oldest of the three and definitely feels different to most Target stores Ive been in, though at least they also have self-checkouts.The benefit to Target is that you dont tend to have the same riffraff as a place like Walmart. During the afternoon on a weekday, Target can be a very quiet place to shop. You typically pay a bit more for that experience, but they often have sales and clearance items, plus the benefits from the Target app, which can help even things back out.
Every time I purchase food there the container is sliced or popped open and I cant eat the food I buy. Im talking over half a dozen times this has happened. Its really unfortunate because I want to support target and this is the closet store to my home. It should also be noted that they have an incredibly small selection of food and you really need to check the dates on stuff because sometimes the bread is right about to go bad. They have no produce but there is an Aldi across the street so that isnt a big deal. BUT PLEASE RETRAIN YOUR WAREHOUSE PEOPLE- THEY ARE TOO ROUGH WITH THE PACKAGES! (Ive also had to hand in cut up bags of bread and such to the staff that I didnt purchase but it was going bad on the shelves. The people are lovely but some need to be trained again.) Again, the employees are great people but some training in the warehouse department is needed.

Took my 11 year old for Legos that showed in stock on Saturday . They were in the back. Told a 11 year old they would call Monday so he could come and get them so I had to call and still can.t get a time to pick them up or a date. Would not be so bad if they had not told a 11 year old kid. Went to Johnson City TN and the nice lady went in the back and got them for him. Great customer service.
Great experience purchasing a wedding gift on-line. I was in and out of the store in just a few minutes. My gift was ready for pick-up, already paid for, just had to show my ID. And I know the couple will love it because it was on their wedding registry. Thanks,Target!

Had to call 5 times in a row just to get someone to answer the phone, only to be told the manager wasn’t in the today and was told they “couldn’t release that information” when asked when would be a good time to contact them. Need to seriously look into replacing large majority of your staff.
Target Drive Up was the most convenient shopping experience I have ever had! I recently suffered a back injury and it enabled me to do my shopping pain-free. I will definitely be using it again!

For the most part I have good experiences, however tonight I had to run by there I arrived at 9:30 very aware that closing time is 10:00 and I had every intention of being done shopping and out before 10. After about 10 min of shopping a closing announcement was made and I understand that is to make customers aware that they are closing to start making your way to the front. I’ve worked retail, I know this process, so I know how it is for employees being ready to get off work, But I also know that a customer arriving 30 min before close or even 5 min before close should be treated the same as their first customer of the day. With that being said my sister and I both felt as though we were being watched/followed by so many associates. I understand they have to give a clearance but that should happen once the store has closed. The customers in that store technically still had 15 min of shopping time left. We (the customers) should not have had to feel uncomfortable for any reason! I had one associate ask me if I needed help, now I wish I would have gotten her name because that’s customer service, not acting like you’re a bunch of spies waiting and watching someone’s every move and walking around talking with each other because automatically the customer feels like it’s about them. Once I got to the register there were two associates standing there talking and stopped mid sentence when I got up there so obviously it wasn’t work related and more then likely was about us or the customers there. I worked retail for years and treated every customer LIKE a customer and I just get irritated when I don’t get that type of respect in return. And I also feel like making closing announcements 5 minutes apart is a bit ridiculous when we clearly had time left to shop! Employees need to realize that customers are the reason they have jobs. I understand one person don’t really matter at a store like that but it’s the stores of that size that DO treat each person like they ARE important are the stores I will choose to shop. I had just got off work a bit earlier so there weren’t many stores still open but I certainly made the wrong choice.

Target was well organized, well stocked, and the sales people were friendly in general. The only unfriendly face we dealt with was the woman at customer service who helped us with an order wed reserved for pick up because our local Target was sold out.
