The employees are super nice and knowledgeable and there is always a wide selection of products and animals.Ive gotten several guinea pigs and a bearded dragon from them and they were very well taken care of and healthy.I would definitely recommend this pet store over any Ive been to previously and will continue to do business with them. ❤

I find their selection of fish very satisfying. We discovered Petcove after adopting a ball python that had been neglected that was a little over 2yrs ago all the ladys up there are amazing an definitely helped us transition our python into bigger rats and taught us the ropes answered questions no matter how dumb they were as 1st time owners we greatly appreciated it and last year I decided I wanted a chinchilla an after a couple months of not feeling confident in taking care of one they took her back without judgement an explained the challenges of owning one and on top of our every couple week trips for feeders they always have something new to browse and the cat is always doing something in there an Snickers is a beautiful addition to the store I hate to see reviews of people slamming these ladies 99% of public arent always pleasant and on top of keeping a tidy place they get a thousand questions a day so I appreciate the straight to the point answers an help when u ask customers for life

Pet Cove is definitely worth checking out! They have a wide variety of exotic pets including fish, reptiles, small animals, and birds. The staff is very friendly. They have great prices on feeder insects, and plenty of options for beardies and other reptiles. Its also a great place to just look around even if you dont plan on buying anything.

Dont know what I would do with out pet cove they are amazing people to deal with and I dropped my old pet store and now they are the only one for me. Parking is the greatest but that has nothing to do with the actual store. You need to go check out them out. They have it all

I avoid large pet shops like petsmart and I love supporting small businesses. This is by far one of the best places you can go. Employees are super friendly. We go regularly just to look around or get crickets or fish food. Sometimes add a new family member in the process. Lol Overall you cant go wrong here

This is a really good pet store for what it is. My only issue is that they keep their betta fish in these little vases. Other than that, the employees were very helpful and answered any questions I had. This place definitely beats Petsmart by a long shot.

My fiance and I originally came here to purchase crickets because our local petsmart was out. There was a stronger odor from inside, I was initially not interested in being there because of this however I didnt know they had so many pets. Once you get past that they are amazing people. Very friendly, and so suggestive. We ended up not only getting crickets but also we bought a parakeet we named glory and we are fairly sure we have found our forever pet store!!!

A lot of pet supplies to choose from. As far as feeders for your reptiles, petcove is awesome when it comes to keeping what you need. I wont purchase any reptiles anywhere else but here. The staff is also super nice and knowledgeable on all fronts. Since the first day we walked in petcove they have always treated us like family.

The staff Is very knowledgeable and helpful. It was busy, but they still helped every customer promptly. This is the only place I will buy fish, they are almost always healthy and the tanks are very clean.

I love this place! I now visit regularly to get crickets for my many critters. I am always greeted by the stores cat and friendly staff. They always have what I need with prices a little cheaper than the big pet stores. The only problem I have is that I can not send my wife in to get the crickets because she will come out with a new critter every time, lol. But that has nothing to do with the establishment. I highly recommend shopping here and support a local business.

I was just in there. I spent 30 minutes or so just walking around and looking at the birds. The shop was clean and I found a green cheek that I would have bought. The problem is no one ever acknowledged I was even there. I passed by the register several times and no one ever said hi. This was with only one other customer there.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff! From what I could see, they take great care of their animals. Just the other day I purchased a baby python from them who is absolutely stunning!

This pet store is very clean. I purchased more fish then I intended to. I actually would have purchased more but the employee pointed out some new arrivals had come in with ich. I appreciate his sharp eye! I will be stopping here when I make the trip from Kentucky again.

Ok selection of fish, snakes, lizards, frogs, spiders, rodents and pet supplies. What you expect from a small shop only snakes they really have are pythons but the people are nice and friendly.

The place is much bigger than it seems from the street, and carries a lot of specialty/exotic pets and supplies that otherwise would be ordered online. Super friendly staff and the customers in there clearly feel like family, coming for questions about care and future plans. Definitely coming back!

I would recommend this place 1000x over. they have an amazing selection of everything you could think of and more. i have a ball python, and a skinny pig. i did not get my python here, but i did get my skinny pig! he’s very sweet and semi tame- although he’s not the easiest to handle. he was very well taken care of when i got him, but i did have to switch up his diet a bit to make sure he was getting enough vitamins. i also get my feeder mice from here, i would def recommend, they have many different sizes to fit your snake (or other reptiles) needs. the staff are friendly, but my only request is that they would start wearing masks, only because i know two people that have passed from covid, and i would hate for that to happen to anyone else. it just seems they aren’t taking the pandemic seriously.

This place has got to be my favorite pet store in the area. In my opinion, they have one of the best selections of fish around, and they always keep their tanks really clean and well-kept. They have a great selection of aquarium necessities such as medications, water treatment chemicals, and Driftwood pieces. They also keep a great selection of frozen foods.The little floating potato pictured is my boy Haku, a freshwater Dragon Puffer Fish that was definitely an unusual find in our area. He was in great health when I got him, and he has been thriving for the last 3 or 4 months! I highly recommend dropping by!

Sold me a Rare color Pyramid Butterfly Tang that actually was quarantined. The rare color was because the fish was sick. Also purchased a Singapore Angel fish. Spent in excess of $100. Introduced them to out aquarium. The rarecolor Pyramid Butterfly Tang died within a day . Next went the Singapore. Started treating immediately but ended up losing 3 more species that had been with us since out aquarium start up. Treatment of tank and loss of fish cost us amore than $400 before we got everything treated and back in balance.Look closely at her fish, those arent just raw sores where other fish have hurt the fish..they are sick. For instance an eel that has open sores.No refunds on saltwater fish and I get that. But dont quarantine a fish then lie about it and sell it. Dont they even care about peoples other fish and aquarium!Buyer beware, this is no good establishment.Keep your money and buy some place else.

It is amazing! I work here and I raise mice for them. Check out my varieties of speckled, longhaired, shorthaired and more! I do not sell the white ones there. They got the white ones somewhere else.

The staff is very nice. all of the animals look healthy and are taken great care of. the lady answered every question i had. the betta fish are not in small cups which is great to see. i had a great experience here and i definitely will be going back!

Overpriced supplies. Poor quality in animal health. Lots of sick/dead fish in every tank. Photo of an axolotl I rescued from Pet Cove showing extreme gill damage due to poor water quality. There was very little attempt to keep the animals in appropriately sized enclosures and they were all filthy and way too packed. Axilotl was kept in a 2 gallon tank that was at least 76°f and they need maximum of 65°. Sick fish were kept with healthy ones and left seemingly untreated by the sheer number of dead in the tanks. Store smelled of ammonia and most of the corals were bleached. I service was slow and hesitant and they clearly are not concerned about anything but saving face, even if it means ARGUING with their customers.

One of the best fish stores around

They have a wide variety of freshwater fish and a few choices for saltwater fish. I did notice 1 tank where a few fish had ick. Which hopefully all the tanks are running off of separate filtration systems so it doesnt spread. Anyway, all the fish looked healthy otherwise, and it did seem to be contained to 1 tank only. Store is a little on the small side, so not a lot of room for inventory. However, store is neat, organized, and the staff is very friendly.

Good place for exotics.

Some of their animals are kept incorrectly (i.e. Leopard geckos kept on calci-sand/quartz-sand) which is distressing but they have good quality feeders. They keep banded crickets instead of house crickets which is the only reason i keep coming back. Would not recommend buying lizards/reptiles here however.I do not keep fish so I cannot speak on those.

Cute store they even have a store cat that chills. Staff is friendly, got lots of fish, mice, rats, guine pigs, and sometimes chinchillas and ferrets I believe. Selction on supplies is a bit small as its a small store but worth the look
