I purchased a Go Pro 6 at this location, but it ceased to function within several months. When I attempted to exchange the product I was denied--even though I had the box, all the attachments, and even the receipt. When I called several different stores in an attempt to rectify this situation, my call was directed to the same individual, whose only interest was to convince me that Best Buy had no responsibility to provide quality products and/or meaningful customer service to the public. The associate only identified himself as Baily, and was reluctant to even reveal that. Baily did convince me that Best Buy was not interested in proper business ethics. In fact, this willingness to sale defective products to consumers, coupled with a total failure of customer service, indicates that any thoughtful customer should seek a company that provides better products, as well as considerate customer service. Apparently, ones receipt and satisfaction mean nothing to this company. Consider: when the same associate has been placed to receive incoming customer service calls for all the regional branches, and has been instructed to disregard a customers proper redress for remuneration, then it follows that Best Buy is practicing a Gate-Keeping policy, which is designed to deflect customer service concerns in favor of its own bottom line. Best Buy has announced that they will be closing stores in the near future. Is it any wonder? It seems the market has corrected what Best Buy deemed irrelevant. So, dont waste your time calling the store. Spend your money somewhere else.

Best Buy is quickly becoming more competitive with the large online retailers. They stock computer components for roughly the same prices with the convenience of receiving the item as you leave. Staff is helpful.

I have been to Best Buy several times in the past month and bought a new phone. The times before I managed to find the same salesperson, who went above and beyond to help me. This past Sunday I stopped to pick out my Dad a cell phone for Fathers Day, looked for the good sales guy, didnt see him, and I had to pull a guy away from the huddle of men standing around, and lucky me, I picked a clueless one. I ended up just buying him a new home phone set. Not very happy.

Gabe is by far the best phone tech there! Super nice and helped us out in every way possible! He knows his stuff and seems to be an even better person!! You can tell he really loves his job.

You all need workers that will work, instead of literally juggling balls while at work, goofing off, and ignoring customers. There were maybe about 7 coworkers looking at us, but NONE of them stopped goofing off long enough to ask if we needed any assistance. We waited here at the Kingsport location for over 30 minutes waiting to be helped with buying a phone. We will never be back. We will go to the one on Exit 7.

I was in the store for around 30 min. The only person that greeted me was the guy up front bouncing a ball. I would have purchased a sound bar if I had some assistance or advice on the best one for the money. But as I went looking for some help, I noticed that everyone, that was working at this store, was standing around joking and laughing. 1 person was stocking cell phone accessories. I stood aside because Im not the type to interrupt a conversation. One of the workers looked over at me then continued talking with his coworkers. Screw it. Lost another customer. So sorry to inconvenience this locations talk time. I only saw two customers up front at customer service, though I wasnt really looking for them. Some one could have helped. Pitiful customer service.

Came to the store looking for an indoor/outdoor security camera system. They had a few brands to select from but not a ton of options within those brands. However, I did find what I was looking for as I purchased a 6 camera 8 channel setup. Hopefully this suffices in quality. When arriving there were a few employees at the front doors who greeted us. Another who asked if we need assistance within a few minutes of being inside and a few more that were casually walking around. Definitely felt like i could ask someone for help if needed but i personally knew what i was searching for. Overall the store was nice, employees were down to earth and polite. I would reccomend shopping here to a friend!

Sometime the staff helps and sometimes they are clueless. Otherwise, the prices are decent compared to other places. I typically choose Best Buy when buying most of my electronics that arent purchased online. The Geek Squad is definitely my choice for servicing laptops, desktops, and otherwise.

Definitely the only place Ill go for my families electronics, appliances, toys, and so much more! The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Ive honestly never been in another electronics store that has not only electronics and much more, but Im super impressed by the staff at this location! I most definitely recommend this Best Buy location to anyone! Definite five stars!😊💜

I like their products and they price match so if you find the product you want cheaper somewhere else they will give it to you for that price, but every time I find myself here there are a million employees working but I seem to have to track one down to ask a question or to buy a product from the TV side except for the cell phone department the guy that works at the phone side is very knowledgeable and knows what hes doing, he helped me get my phone and got me an affordable phone plan through one of Best Buys phone companies. Wonderful person with a great attitude and very helpful all and all I love Best Buy and the products they sale.

I went to best buy looking for a auxiliary cable. After walking by 10 or so employees that were just standing at the front desk only 1 lady said hello. No one asked of we needed help so we had to go find help. And the they only had the best buy brand of cable.

This is one of my favorite Best Buys in the East Tennessee area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very sad they are moving it to The Pinnacle.

I was in and out of the store within 10 mins. I had to get a cord for my TV. The person that helped me was actually working in the phone department but took time to take me and show me where it was and picked it out for me! Excellent service. Fast and friendly customer service. Definitely recommend☺️

My granddaughter has recently purchased a new I phone which was defective. We had to take out to the Geek Squad to have it wiped clean and restore it to factory settings. They were very courteous and professional and were able to complete the process while we waited and the associate even offered her coffee while she waited.

Great place to buy needed or desired electronics, or any accessory for electronics! Store staffed accordingly during peak times with respectful, knowledgeable, and courteous individuals. Found a great deal on a 32” television and wasn’t hassled while shopping! I would suggest taking advantage of their 20 days of cyber deals!

If I could leave a zero star review I absolutely would. I have yet to have a positive experience at this location. I’m a tech addict and frequent many Best Buy locations. I have consistently negative interactions with customer service and their management. They are unwilling to correct employee mistakes or even offer an apology. In an ever changing landscape for brick and mortar retail throughout the US brand loyalty is a critical factor that drives both sales and over all brand success. This location does everything wrong to promote an environment that you want to return to.

Every time I go here, I always end up finding a great deal. This is the place to go for phone upgrades. They always have a better deal than the actual carrier. Went in for a Samsung Note 9, got 200 off retail and a FREE 32 LED TV!

Because I bought an out of the box TV, a demo if you will, and they put the wrong remote with the TV I got. I have a 55 insignia fire tv that I cant use until the new remote is mailed to me. Thank guys for cutting corners.

I purchase a Note 9 on Black Friday at Verizon. I was rushed out of the Verizon store when I had questions and was not done with my purchase as I still wanted a case and screen protector but this isnt a Verizon store review so Ill save you the details on that. So, I decided Id try my luck at Best Buy the next day. The first associate in the phones department I encountered wasnt the most friendly but still helpful. Due to this its only a 4 out of 5. Dont get me wrong, I do understand the stress the hours, etc. I mean it is Black Friday after all. Not completely dissatisfied but noted.Moving on, I requested the install of my newly purchased screen protector. Enter the second associate. This person was very helpful, very engaging and overall deserving of 5 stars or more. You see, Ill be retiring my Note 4 of 5 years. We discussed that and more as they applied my protector. The associate even assisted with getting my old sd from my Note 4 into the Note 9 as well as offered (without my having to ask them) to apply my new case.Overall very pleased with the experience!Thank you Best Buy and associate #2 for turning my otherwise bitter Black Friday all the way around.

Justin was extremely helpful. He fixed the problem I was having with my blue tooth and he also blocked calls I was receiving from telemarketers. This young man is very intelligent and is very thoughtful in the way he treats people. You are blessed to have him on your team.

We bought a new phone here. The price was the best we found. The activation went quickly and the representative transferred everything from the old phone to the new one.

Its OK. A lot of staff actually seemed less concerned with helping you. Its very quiet in there, actually. Only saving grace was that they have a lot of good things in Stock. So they do a good job of maintaining their inventory.

Another great visit. I could stay in there for hours looking at stuff and enjoy talking to the employees about the latest tech. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great experience with staff, very knowledgeable-however, I prefer not to have to wait and shop on Amazon, but when you only have two gaming monitors in the entire store, and both of them are out of stock I get a little annoyed. I find it funny that these kind of big box stores are going out of style, yet cant keep an inventory of basic items like gaming monitors. This is why people choose amazon.

I bought a new Kindle Fire, and had some issues getting everything coordinated (with my previous Kindle). There were a few things that defeated me, just could not get past them. Two days in a row Bram Sword from the geek squad helped me get everything squared away. He was endlessly patient and did a great job for me. Both times. A big thanks to Bram, his help is much appreciated!!

Great place but lease wasnt renewed and this location for Best Buy is closing permanently Nov. 2. Now you either have to go to the Pinnacle next year, Bristol, Va or Johnson City, TN.

Bought new printer with 2 year Geek Squad support. Printer not showing up in devices so it can be used. Best Buy Geek Squad will not help trouble shoot the installation without me paying an additional $100. Was on phone with five different employees from 8 am to 1240 pm. Yes five hours....for no one to help. Not recommended.

Overall it is clean, spacious, and honestly the space seems underutilized. It is a smaller Best Buy store that what I am used to, and looked like they could add more shelving to add more inventory. I was visiting family during the time we went to the store, so am not local.We were there for the second release of the NES Classic, and even though we arrived over 30 minutes after opening there were still enough in-stock. We were able to quickly purchase it at Customer Service and were out the door in a timely manner. There are benefits to being at a smaller store.

Omg, i had to grab a birthday gift last minute for my niece. In 20 minutes these guys found me a kid proof kindle, accessories, price matched amazon, and signed me up for future savings. Also lots of parking and very clean store! I see a new big screen in my near future.

Gotta be honest, Best Buy is just the best. The carry any new electronic coming out on the market, and at affordable prices. The one on E Stone drive in Kingsport is just great. All the employees are super knowledgeable and always friendly and helpful.

I have never failed to get top-notch service from the sales associates in this store. If I know what I want, they walk me over to the product. If I dont know specifically what I want, just a need, they ask pertinent questions until we find just what exactly I need, and then discuss the pros and cons of the various products on hand that would fill that need. Just a great experience.

Excellent help finding out exactly which computer I want to get. Still using it 9 months later and its stayed the same price definitely has been wonderful to use. I had great help from several employees while I was shopping and they were knowledgeable and through.

I really like dealing with BB because of their products, customer service, and just BB in general. I have bought several different electronics there and have had no trouble with returns with the very few things that I have had trouble with. One thing I really like is ordering online, for cheap, and then pick it up the next day or two at my local store. I live in between the Kingsport and Johnson City, TN. stores but I prefer the Kpt. store...its a little smaller but I have received great service from both.

Love this store. Even before working here, it’s been wonderful. Even when I leave, it will be my electronic store.

Favorite Best Buy. I’ve been helped by lots of associates here, tvs, laptops, games, appliances. Geek squad team rocks too! I’ve done in store pick ups, shopped in person and had some delivery/installations and they’re always phenomenal.

Clean up to date products. Plenty of knowledgeable customer service. Prices are reasonable.

Got us a small smart TV for the grandbaby and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took us through a few tv and we compared specs and prices. He offered us insurance on our new purchase and our transaction went as smoothly as possible. Thank you.

I see a lot of people giving this place 1 star because of the customer service, but in my experience, the employees were polite. I had a nice chat with an employee while he installed RAM cards into my PC one day. And on another day, an employee had misplaced a 40 dollar mic on a $20 shelf, which sounds bad and shows that the employee was prone to mistakes. However, when they rung it up, the admitted that the misplaced price was their fault and that they would sell it to us for $20 anyways which was great. So because of that incident, I may be a little biased. Otherwise I would recommend going to Best Buy.Sorry Im not a professional reviewer or anything, but I just thought Id share my opinion.

We went to buy a Samsung phone, the guy that waited on use was very knowledgeable about phones, the store is very clean and employes are super nice hand helpful.

Best buy is a great store in general. The people and management in this store have totally turned me off ever going back to this store. Employees are so rude and management have no clue what customer service is. If you need something from best buy go to the Bristol store.

Stopped by here today, the store in Kingsport, Tn. The staff was extremely friendly, and seemed to go out of their way to help me. If they didnt have what I wanted in stock, I was offered to have it In the store ASAP. The cashier even told me that they price match when I was paying (I didnt even think to ask). Which worked out good for me!

I could not have been happier with how I was treated. I had a phone that never worked properly, but did not buy the insurance. When they recognized it was a lemon, they gave me a new phone with no questions asked. I will be a shopper for life.

Great store, and great staff - helpful, but not pushy. Pro tip: if there is an item that is ships and sold from Amazon, BestBuy will price-match it. So I usually go to BestBuy and pick out what I want. Then I price-match is against Amazon. So I wind up paying the same as I would on Amazon, but getting my item immediately!

I came here today, to purchase a radio kit and a wire harness but could not get waited on . I went to customer service and they called but no one showed up, after 15 minutes I got on one of their on computers and I looked up my own products. Needless to say I did not make the purchase because I dont think I was given the customer service to spend my hard earned money on such a terrible establishment. Its a shame you all renovated this store but your associates still lack the skills to help customers.

Its always 50/50 at this location. There are some great employees that work here also there is some terrible employees that work at this location. Also they try to pressure older customers into buying new things they dont need in order to get commission.

Very helpful staff. Not overly pushy when it comes to sales. I have had them find items in the back that are listed as in stock but are not on the floor. Checkout is sometimes slow but depends on if a frenzy of people come up at once. Good location and parking lot as well.

I went to Best Buy to look for a new TV. I had been looking at TVs for over 20 minutes and no one approached me asking if I needed help. So I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I live in the Tri-cities and have had better luck finding items Im looking for at this store (compared to Johnson City or Bristol). The staff of the Bristol store cant be beat though.

Very helpful getting right part for tv unfortuntly the tv was old and out dated they refunded money no prob I always love Best buy there little higher on sum items but techs on floor are very helpful.

The sales people did not offer once to help me. 5 people was standing in a group talking about personal things. I was interested in a buying a washer I found.( I was in sales and always said hello and if there is anything I can do to help you please let me know is what I told everyone that came in the store.) The only thing said to me when I approached them as they stood next to the front entrance was have a nice day. So to me I felt Noone wanted to help so I just left. Then there was 2 other employees standing outside talking to people. I was not impressed with the Kingsport location.
