My family have been going to see this fine group of people for a couple of years now. They are amazing! They are very friendly and PATIENT with you in the process of picking out glasses. I’m extra picky and they said “no problem at all honey you just take your time and make sure you get the ones you want.” My wife has high anxiety with anything medical. She was absolutely amazed with his bedside manner. I can’t say enough about these great people. We won’t be going anywhere else for eye care! Thanks guys!!!

Dr. Salyers is very thorough and takes his time to listen and answer any questions you may have. He seems passionate about helping people with their vision problems. The staff is friendly and informative. You can tell they love what they do and are mindful of peoples different financial situations. I will be trusting Dr. Salyers with all of my familys vision care.

I started coming here several years ago when I was interested in Lasik. I had went to a few other practices that kept giving excuses why they wouldnt refer me (I was in my late 20s so too old, my vision changed just a fraction over the last year so I wasnt a candidate, etc.) Anyway, Dr. Salyer not only talked it out with me, he referred me for my consultation after verifying the other reasons werent reasons, AND he did my pre/post care. He and his staff are wonderful and I still go once a year to keep a check on my vision post Lasik. Highly recommend.

I will always be a customer for Dr. Salyers for as long as he remains in business. Simply put he is the best optometrist I have ever seen. I used to live in Knoxville and drove to Kingsport to see him. I now drive over from Limestone TN and will continue to do so. He is thorough and caring and will do only what is best for you. They never try to upsale you on anything and work within your insurance as much as possible for you.
