Sold me a car with messed up breaks while I was 8 months pregnant. Told them I just needed a car for my son and trusted they would sell me a safe car. 3 months later my breaks are making a weird sound and they said I would have to pay $800 to get it fixed and that it wasn’t covered under warranty.

The service techs were not able to give me a reason why my car shut off after going over a bump, at 70 miles per hour, on a major highway. They did not try to look into it further, just stating it need an update. I was told they would call me on Monday to discuss further (on a Friday) and they have yet to call. Communication is lacking at Romeo Kia. It took 4 1/2 months and several phone calls to get my vehicle serviced last time there was a safety issue. My car isnt even 2 years old. Im very disappointed in this dealership.

Good service, outdated building, wish they were in larger area, very cramped lot
Im only giving free stars for now because so far so good I finance a 2015 g m c Terrain. Within that Finance was a warranty to cover bumper to bumper and Im glad I got it because I didnt have the truck for more than four days before the transmission went and noticed that there was some clunks from under the car when driving over bumpy roads,and a problem with the power steering. They took the car in and gave me a loaner. The car was with them for just about 40 days, I just got the car back last week, they replace the transmission with a new used one, as well as replacing the rear shocks thinking thats where the noise was coming from, unfortunately the initial noise from our chief complaint in the beginning is still there that banging noise over bumps so Romeo Kia replace those shocks and I believe a tie rod and then sent it to Romeo Chevy have the transmission replaced. Now I dont know how it works but I guess since I sent it to Romeo Chevy and they were the last ones to touch it they were responsible for the initial noise that I was complaining about a little awkward to me. There was a little lying from the service manager at Romeo Kia the gentlemans name is maquel, he had told me to go following Monday to Romeo Chevy let them know that the noise is still there see their service manager Sean and then see a lady named Melanie for a loner. Unfortunately when I got there they had said that they were clear with the service manager over at Romeo Kia that there wasnt going to be any loners I was a little upset and it was unfortunate ultimately I just wanted get the truck fixed so I didnt mind sitting and waiting around for a few hours. They found where the clunking was coming from guess it was some rear sway links,and has said that power steering fluid needs a flush, opposed to the whole pump which was suggested my the service manager at romeo kia, as well as I want to resurface the calibers and Lube something lol I cant remember, but they cant get it in until Monday, so I am hoping that they are going to do the right thing and get the truck into the shop when they said and fixed the initial complaints of which we have. And in the meantime it is and was a little frustrating because Within 2 months of me having Finance Terrain I had put down $3,000 that included my trade in and pays close to 7500 towards the loan and its just a little daunting and defeating to only have had the truck in my possession for 6 days but Im at least grateful happy the warranty I purchased is being put to good use and Im sure set that the team over at Chevy well take good care of us. I will let everyone know how we make out when we bring the truck back on Monday. I know its a lot to read Im trying to be as honest as possible so lets see what Monday brings and Ill be reposting for a follow-up

I brought my car to Begnal Motors for an oil change. They informed me that fluid was leaking around the area of my front differential and advised me to bring it to the Kia dealership to check what was going on. I drive over to Romeo Kia on Shwenk drive where I had originally purchased the vehicle. I was greeted and told the attendant what Begnal motors had just told me. The man went into the back and came out and said if I was willing to pay for the first hour of service then they would check it out. Stunned I replied but service is $119 an hour. They just needed to look and see what the problem was. The man told me it probably wouldnt be that long but they have to secure at least an hour. I needed to know what was wrong so I reluctantly agreed. The man came out 20 minutes later (I timed it) to tell me that it was just a seal and asked if I wanted to order the part. I said maybe, lets see what it costs. He said ok I will have the guys check and be right out. 20 minutes later (40 minutes of being there total now) he came out with a huge laundry list of things wrong with my car, that are NOT wrong with my car. He only typed a couple of them into the final checkout. I wish I had taken a picture of all of the things they were claiming were wrong and needed immediate attention, including new tires and a full alignment, which I just had done at another location. After all of this he hits me with a bill of $126.52. They did zero work to my car. They looked at it in under 20 minutes and still had the audacity to charge me for a full hour. The manager was kind enough to knock $25 off of a bill for an estimate. I have had work done on my property, cars, etc and NEVER pay for an estimate. They are just looking and judging what it may cost. This is the reason that I go to other companies to get my car servicing done. I will NOT use Romeo Kia again! I am also bringing this to the better business bureau. Absolutely ridiculous to charge anyone for an estimate, especially people that purchased the vehicle there not 2 years ago! Goodbye Romeo Kia

Straight up, on car pricing. No pressure on the purchase. Of course during the final parts of sale they try to offer additional warranties, and push a little on them (Finance Manager). Overall, pleasant transaction, and purchased and took home vehicle within 3 hours of me looking at it. Mike was pleasant to work with.
I literally couldn’t give this place a worse review. Absolutely disrespectful service. Don’t honor their own promises. They don’t clean their cars before selling them. Sold my parents a car that has had problems since purchase and won’t fix it. Told my mom she shouldn’t “drive that fast” and then “the car wouldn’t shake” for saying she does 70MPH on the highway.Trying to convince my mother to return this car. Hopefully she will. This place doesn’t deserve her or your money.

I wanted my daughter to do this on her own and Joe was the perfect person to help her. I do not recommend Romeo Kia for service of the Niro hybrid. After 2 service trips and hundreds of unecessary dollars, our problem persists. Ill never go back.
Unfortunately after a month of having the car I bought from Romeo Kia, I have to change my initial review. The process of buying and getting the car was fine but now Im a month into having it and the check engine light pops on with 6 codes! One being a misfire. So I spent over $200 to fix the plugs and coil pack and when I went in there, nothing but corrosion. Dirt and debris all around the spark plugs and they were corroded. After all this the problem still isnt fixed. They reassured us when we bought the car that they looked over everything. Id call bs on that seeing as how spark plugs are easy to check and these ones are very easy to get to. Maybe this is also why they push a $2,000 warranty on their cars as well. Not happy with the condition of the car so far.

Half of these guys are great. Usually going to the GM/Chevy branch of Romeo they always make a deal, even with subpar or no credit they work hard to make something work. Cannot say the same for the rest. The salesmen are pushy, rude and dismissive. Probably not a great idea to send someone a request for a review when I literally got up and walked out. The guy that we spoke with initially after inquiring online was awesome though, the salesman we were passed off to... not so much. If we return to Romeo at all, it will be back to GMC for us.I should add that I did not even get to see or drive the vehicle I came in to look at. I was immediately pushed into driving and even taking home something else. The salesman insisted I “loved it” even though I was pretty clear that I was not sure I liked it at all. I was clear that a co sign would be doable on the vehicle we came in to see, but not the vehicle I didn’t like. I don’t know anyone in their right mind who would jump through 30 hoops to get a car they don’t even like and I’m really not sure why they would send me a request for a google review after all of that.
From the moment I walked in the door it was a great experience. It was the first time I purchased a new car and didn’t feel like I was dealing with a salesman, but felt more like I was dealing with a friend. Besides being super friendly and knowledgeable, they were also efficient and had me driving out in a new car within a few hours. I will recommend KIA and ROMEOKIA to all my friends.

Worst car buying experience ever. Everything seemed fine at first until they had me test drive a vehicle that I absolutely loved and was ready to buy just to find out that someone had already put a deposit down several days prior. Then they had me look at another vehicle that I also liked and when we came in to start the paper work they said the car was a bad idea because the carfax werent clean. Ultimately I ended up with a SUV that I was happy with until I got home and realized it didnt have the drop down 3rd row seat that they said it had. They told me the 3rd row was dropped down and when I got home to put it up there was no third row seat. I called them and told them I wanted to return the vehicle because they lied. I needed 3rd row seating due to have 5 children. The women I bought my car with said someone would call me back and they never called me back.

I highly recommend shopping here! My salesman Dave VanOrden was a breath of fresh air. As a female, I was looking around for a female saleswoman because of prior experiences. I cant stand those fast talking, loud talking, high pressure salesmen. This was not the case with Dave at all. Instead of trying to sell me he simply got to know me and just helped me. Not one time did he try to sell me ( which is what sold me). Well, the car already sold itself, but its all about the experience for me. He has great character and shows incredible professionalism. I drove away with the white 2018 KIA Optima XE that Ive had my eye on and its a super sexy car! Everyone should check out this dealership and experience it for yourself! Great experience. I showed up an hour early, yet they took me in quickly and were completed before the time my original appointment was scheduled. There were no issues honoring my coupon as well.

Im on my second lease from Romeo Kia and have found them to be exceptional to deal with. They have a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere that you dont normally see at car dealerships and they really have the customers best interests in mind. Let me start by saying the service department has the most incompetent staff and has “provided” the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my whole life. I brought my car in over 3 months ago for a clicking and ticking noise coming from the instrument panel and it is STILL not resolved. When I brought it in the technician diagnosed it as an ac actuator problem. For that part to come in it took forever and I would have to call continuously to see if the part had come in. The service department would ring and ring and ring and I would be forced to leave a message and my call would never get returned. The receptionist had even hung up on me one time when I told her I needed to speak to the manager. The parts supervisor told me my car part had come in a couple days ago and when I asked them why I never got a call they claimed they tried to call me. I demanded them to give me the time and date because that was not true and they said “it doesn’t matter, when do you want to come in?” The technician replaced that part and the second I got my car home it was making the same noise. About two days later my Bluetooth had stopped working in my car and the date and time wouldn’t show up on my car display. At that point the service manager gave me his personal number so we would be able to speak directly since there had been so many issues. However he would take a day or two to get back to me I dealt with it. I brought my car back in again to have them find the source of the noise. My car stayed with them for two days and they claimed my car was not making the noise and they couldn’t diagnose it therefore. My car makes that noise every single day and continuously! I needed my car back so I took it back. At this point I’m completely fed up and have given up. I tried to reach out to the service manager and when I made my last appointment we agreed on one time(10am), a half hour later I get a confirmation call saying my appointment was at 8am opposed to the time we had booked. That was the second time my appointment was booked incorrectly, they can not even do that right. The ONLY time in this whole process anyone has tried to make this right was someone in sales who agreed to fix this with my car is if I bought another car from them. All they care about is your money and making a sale! I will deter all my family and friends from this place and will never buy a car from them again. Absolute disgrace!

Romeo kia of Kingston New York is a outstanding dealership that gives you a great price. They will work with you regarding a trade into a new vehicle. I recently traded in a two-year-old Sportage on a lease to a brand new Sportage with the features that I wanted. They worked with me giving me a great deal on a new car while almost zeroing out my two-year-old lease during a recent lease return event. Any other dealer I would be upside down about 5k to finish paying off the three-year lease. I not only received a great price but a great upgraded car.
We walked into this Kia dealership to casually browse their selection of cars (because someone we know recently got a Kia which they loved). We were not expecting to buy a Kia. I loved our Subaru and was fully expecting to replace it with another Subaru. But, we fell in love with the new Kia Seranto! Bill, from the Romeo Dealership, was especially helpful and courteous. The the customer service that I received from Bill martini and the rest of the staff at Romeo Kia was fantastic no pressure sales I came to look at a different Kia and this one was in amazing shape and I got such a great deal and was treated with a lot of kindness and care really appreciate the staff at Romeo Kia
Heard the Finance manager say you would of punched this guy in the face because my husband wanted a better deal... after he talked about shaving his dogs rectum in front of the entire sales floor... real mature. Dont waste your time coming here.
Joe Mazz is THE best. He did exactly what he said he would do. He got me into the car I wanted, and in the payment bracket I could afford. The entire process was a little long, but I wasn’t being taken on a rollercoaster ride that I wasn’t in control of. I was comfortable with the entire process with joe, he gladly answered ever odd end question I had with a smile. When he showed me the Kia I purchased, he showed me every spec about that car from bumper to bumper! No other dealer I’ve went to did that! Thank you Joe for making this experience a memorable one, from buying my first and probably not last Kia, to learning about a weather rock 😂. It was great working with everyone at Kingston Romeo Kia. I originally had a 5 star rating due to the great sales staff experience which is still true today. I purchased a used truck and has almost been a year, truck parts get worn and break, and I understand that. What I dont understand is why it is taking the service department 3+ times to fix the same issue? 4 times to fix a rear differential seal and going to be a 3rd try at fixing a drive train pulley. Only reason I go back is because I have a warranty on the truck or Id take it somewhere else. So as far as the sales department, great service from Joe, but the service department gets the 1 star.
