Best place to buy a boat. We just picked up our new pontoon on Saturday. Our salesman Dave Jackson was fantastic going over all the particulars and making sure our new boat was pristine. My experience with the Boat Warehouse for service was exceptional. Friendly, efficient and committed to serving their customers. I needed new steering cables for my boat and was unable to get them at several Marinas I had tried. I ended up ordering them myself online through EBay and the Boat Warehouse was willing to install them, however they were the wrong size. Cindy went out of her way to research through the manufacturer to find how we could get the right size and cable but at the time they were unavailable. She continued to follow up, eventually got the parts for me and they were installed on my boat. The service was impeccable. The staff was more than willing to help in anyway they could. Run! We caught them in 2 lies and that was enough for us. Did not want to stick around to learn of any others. If your ok being lied to then this place is for you. Not how we liked to be treated. When we called them out on it they just denied denied denied and would not look at the documentation.

I would be careful when buying a boat from this company. I bought a Four Winns HD 220 6 weeks ago and on the spec sheet and in conversations with the sales person Wayne the boat was to have a 12 Gallon Potable water tank. I just had the 20 hour service completed at another Four Winns dealer and there is no tank. Wayne was good through the process until it came time for after service then he would never return a call. Jake the sales manager basically said it was Four Winns fault so take it up with them or if you want go ahead and sue us. Now i am sure this is not indicative of all their dealings otherwise they wouldn’t be in business, however after dropping $100,000 on a new boat and it is missing a key feature I find this a piss poor way to deal with a customer. The tank will cost $3000-$5000 to have installed after market if they can even do it. Just be careful and make sure you have them double check every single feature you are paying for because they won‘t take care of it after the fact.I have been in communication back and forth with someone from The Boat Warehouse on Facebook and rather then them just admitting that they made a mistake on the spec sheet and try to find a solution they are saying that it is my fault for not knowing that if a feature is listed under the specification section but there is no other features listed below that rely on the use of the tank then why would I think that the tank be included on the boat?The more I discuss this with them the more untrustworthy they become.A reputable company would admit they made a mistake and try to find a resolution.

My husband and I went to the 2019 Boat Show in Toronto just to take a peak at what was available as we were just in the preliminary stages of thinking we wanted to buy a boat. Within minutes of walking in we were in the Four Winns/Boat Warehouse Booth where we met Shawn. Within an hour or two, we were signing to purchase our Four Winns HD180 OB. Shawn was super knowledgable and went over every aspect of the boat with us to give us all the information possible to ensure this was the right boat for us. He even encouraged us to go walk around and look at other boats and dealers to make sure we were 100% confident in our purchase and could see ourselves in this boat, which we thought was super cool of him to do so we did! We walked around the entire show and sure enough we couldnt find anything at our price point that offered what the Four Winns did. Fast forward 4 months and in walks Jake into our boating purchase experience. We called to setup the pick-up of our boat and our water test with Jake. Although it ended up being extremely cold and rainy on the day that we picked up our boat, Jake was extremely patient with us, super knowledgable and made sure we spent adequate time on the boat during our water test to make sure we were comfortable. He went over every aspect of the boat from top to bottom, how to use everything and gave us many tips of things to do and things not to do. He asked us multiple times if we had any other questions for him before taking the boat in to load up on the trailer. Once back in from the water and the boat was loaded up, Jake went above and beyond to make sure we were all setup with everything we needed to make the trek back home to Niagara Falls. He even gave us his cell phone number to call or text him any time if we had any questions that we might think of once we were back home or if we had any issues after pick-up and he would get right back to us. Since being home, we have texted Jake twice about 2 different questions and he responded right away even sending pictures of what we were asking about to make sure that we had the proper information. We couldnt be happier with our purchase and the customer service weve received. I highly recommend getting in touch with Jake if youre thinking about getting a new boat. Hes our guy! Thanks Jake! The Boat Warehouse is an excellent retail outlet for purchasing a boat because it has excellent boats and an excellent staff! They also have a very good relationship with manufacturers so if something goes wrong with your boat, you can call them and they will reach out to the manufacturer and do their very best for you. Dave was our salesman and he spent a lot of time with us and gave us the confidence we needed as first-time boat owners. Cindy helped us with service and was very attentive in following up with the manufacturer getting the best result for us that she could which we were happy with. Both were knowledgeable and dedicated to helping us. We also dealt with Jake who gave us a lot of great information about boating and waterways in the region. We will stick with them no matter what because they are there to give you more time on your boat and less time dealing with the things, small or otherwise that can happen with any boat. Over all, not a bad experience, yet having to book weeks ahead to pick up your boat in the spring and drop it off in the fall is not good customer service. Their hours are atrocious, closing at 2:00 pm on a Saturday and closed on Sundays, is pretty cheeky for a recreational company, especially during the busy season. While the staff are good, the sales department is exceptional. Dave Jackson is always available, extremely knowledgeable and willing to help with anything. He is the main reason I continue to frequent this establishment.

At first Jake seen to be on top of his game, very good service. I brought a pontoon during the start of Covid-19, I live in Quebec and the license office was closed and couldnt make a appointment to plate the trailer. I took a plate from my other trailer to get it home. Then when the office open, they wanted a bill of sale just for the trailer or I have to pay the tax on package. I texted and call so many times, never got my bill of sale. So I talk to Cindy and she took my info, still nothing.My boat mechanic that I use, test drive my pontoon and he notice the motor only go 3/4 throttle, he advised me that the prop is the wrong one. I texted and called Jake. Again no answer.Side note if any buy and boat from The Boat Warehouse please read what you sign. The fanising company they use, put in a delivery date on the paper when I was in lockdown for covid-19 in my area. I was stuck paying when my pontoon wasnt deliver, I call and Chuck from the fanising company tells me that he being do this for almost 30 years and thats how the fanising world works. Yet when I call the bank they told me is not how it works. And of cause when I confronted him about it never get a answer.This is the way they treat their customer. I will not advise anyone to deal with this place.This is a update. After 3 weeks the comment from the The Boat warehouse, I still havent heard from anyone. Is sad, take my money is great but the after service is ZEROUPDATE.......Is January 2021 I still havent been contacted for the paperwork for my trailer.

We bought our pontoon here a couple years ago. The purchase experience was great. This year we needed a $6 prop bore sleeve. The parts department has been terrible to deal with.I called last weekend and described what I needed. I was told that they needed to speak to a tech and would call back Monday. After a few days of not hearing from them I called back. I had to start over with most of my story again. Once again I was told they would call me back.This time he needed the gear ratio off the lower unit. I called back with needed number and was told Id get a call back again - that call never came. I called back today (Saturday) and was told that the part wouldnt be ordered until Tuesday, it would then take 2-3 days to arrive in Kingston and then it would be sent to me.Best case scenario would be over two weeks from start to finish to get the part.I got the part number and called another dealer. They have 11 in stock! Ill have the part in an hour.Five phone calls and a week later and Id have to wait almost another week minimum. And this is the worlds largest dealer?!?

I went out several dealers and these guys were the only ones who took the time to answer all my questions and sort me out. They didnt run around an up sell me on things I didnt want or need, and any and all follow up service has been just as great as my first time there. If you need a boat go to the boat warehouse. Hello,Utter disappointment in customer service and professionalism.We purchased a brand new 2018 LOWE Tritoon in April with a 150hp motor.During the first month of boating we had non stop issues with our motor. The Boat Wearhouse neglected to help us trouble shoot by ignoring calls from our mechanic. When there was contact they endlessly tried to find blame elsewhere & 3 weeks from our boating season were taken. After having to fight week after week to receive answers as to why our boat was not running properly - it was found that our boat was sold to us with the incorrect Prop. Eventually the Prop was replaced, however, since then The Boat Wearhouse has refused to pay our mechanic whom has had to work endlessly as our advocate during this process. Our boat also had a cracked helm on the day we picked it up- we were told it would be replaced. We have yet to hear from them and it will undoubtedly be yet another unfair and stressful fight to receive the customer care we so deserved.This has been cruelty to vulnerable customers and they shld be ashamed.

Unprofessional service and I wont buy from them again. I have purchased many vehicles and this was the first time I have been nickled and dimed over a tank of gas. Considering how much money was spent it should come filled. This has nothing to do with money and all about customer satifaction. Sales was able to slip one by me. Be warned. Customer service has always been about going the extra mile and making the customer happy and in my case it failed. Its the little things that generate repeat business.

Theyve obviously made enough money at this dealership since they dont seem too interested in making any sales with me. I emailed with my interest in purchasing a boat and got short replies with little info. I tried to ask a few more questions via email and never heard back. I then phoned looking for answers (how many hours were on the motor of a package they had for sale) and they answered by saying the boat was down the road and they would have to drive there to get the info. They never got back to me with any info. I wasnt about to spend $15000 on a boat without getting some information first. After that many attempts, I gave up. I ended up buying a brand new model of the same boat I was calling them about, but I bought from someone who took the time to answer my questions. Ill have to drive 4 extra hours to get my new boat in Sudbury, but at least I got some service.
