Stopped by at Pride Marine to ask about some boat products and casually inquire about dockage. We were so impressed with the attention and service from the employees that we returned that day to sign up for a boat slip. Great facilities, newly renovated washrooms, BBQ access and fuel. The employees were extremely personable with each other and customers and made our stop an enjoyable experience. Other customers at the docks had great interactions with the employees and that sealed the deal that we will be docking our boat for this season and next season with Pride Marine. I called Pride (Kingston) at 9:05am. This was to ensure I could speak to someone in the sales and service department live rather than email. Posted hours showed them opening @ 9:00am. I was directed to a call center where a female named Nikki answered the call. Nikki was polite and courteous as she transferred me through. I received voicemailbox after one ring and then decided to call back, assuming that I was sent to the wrong extension. Nikki proceeded to try 3 extensions which all went to voicemail. After 17 minutes playing musical extensions, I politely expressed my displeasure and fading interest in getting my current boat looked at, and the purchase of a potential new boat. Nikki suggested she would do a live transfer, suggesting she would stay on the line until she reached someone.Que in Cathy!!!Cathy apparently works in the service department where it is common to answer the phone with hello...(accompanied by awkward pause) as if the person was at home and I interrupted her day. There was ZERO professionalism in the handling of this simple call.I would NOT recommend anyone to support this kind of unorganized/unprofessional behavior.Suppose I could have left a message on the second voicemail which was the manager.Quite a pitty.

Had a great experience buying our first boat from Pride Marine, Kingston. David Stanulis was our sales person and went above and beyond our expectations. Very quick to get back to us on all of our questions or concerns. Very professional in all dealings with him. Always kept us informed on progress of our boat build and delivery. Thank you David Stanulis, If I could give 10 stars I would, I have never experienced such a horrible buying experience than since I decided I wanted a watercraft for fishing, holy moly. At first I was thinking a kayak, im trying to be better with finances for first time in my life so starting with lowest cost option seemed like a good start. I couldnt get anywhere with the local dealers to the point if I was to buy a kayak it was from the Muskokas such bad business else.Then decided I wanted a real boat as im not a small frame person and with a goal to max catch limits it would be a pain in the kayak. Getting info on boat wasnt any easier than the kayak (I do all of my own research so just looking for actual price as it varies and confirmations if available in Canada type thing, all at once), ive been in B2B sales for almost 2 decades as a manufacturer or distributor rep so I know business, with that being said I realize profits are based on margins and with that the more expensive the sale the higher the dollar amount (profit dollars) are going into your pocket, if running on 30% margins the take home on a 200k purchase is much more than a $55k purchase.With that being said it is the company that makes the difference, even a good customer knows that if your buying the cheapest unit the company offers that your not going to get the $1M treatment and have a party with Champaign upon delivery haahah just some information to feel comfortable then enough.I talked with TBW in Kingston who refused to bring in a boat they didnt have planned to order even though they havent placed the order yet and could just bump their order up by one (there ordering less than last year) to get the guarantee sale that I sold myself on and pick all the options (I knew more about the boat). So called Bass Pro Shop, first call was great, all 10 other interactions got worse and worse to where they would change the conditions with every contact.Thank God I called Pride Marina in Kingston David Stanulis has been by far the best salesman I have dealt with. I gave him everything I wanted on a quote, he approved the price (matched bass pro shop) discussed payments and delivery and ordered the boat in the same day. I wouldnt even waste your time looking for a boat outside of Pride Marina, especially the Kingston location, thank you David!!!

Pride Marine in Kingston went the extra mile to solve a water leak in a new Tracker boat purchased at this location. The leak was caused by a loose below deck hose connection in the bow livewell. Mike Sears, Kingston location manager, took a personal interest to resolve the problem with the new boat quickly. This type of service is appreciated.

This was my first year as a boater. I had always wanted a boat and finally bought one after 16+ years of saying some day. I purchased an older used boat as my starter boat from a dealership in Ottawa. A few weeks after getting it on the water it started having motor problems. I took the boat to Pride Marine and they said that this issue was going to leave me boat-less for the majority of the summer.I asked if there were any options for trading in my older boat for a newer one. Thats when I met Dave.Dave took the time to ask me questions about what I want to do with a boat, how many people, budget, etc., and then showed me a few different models. After a few days of research and conversations with Dave, I pulled the trigger and purchased a brand new boat. Dave not only went to bat for me to get me the best trade-in value for my old boat, despite needing some repairs, but also did everything he could to make sure that we were comfortable with the deal. It wasnt just about a commission for him, it was about me and my family.Dave is by far one of the most hard-working sales people Ive ever met. I would like to edit my review. We were contacted by the Manager and asked to come in and discuss what happened. After explaining what we were looking for we received emails when something arrived that would fit our want. The Manager made it right and for that Id like to say thank you! I went in to the Kingston Pride Marine. The young man who ended up helping us was more interested in eating his pizza than acknowledging us although he eventually did. We told him we were looking for a cruiser but of course we dont know WHAT we want, we would like to look at some physically and then decide. He asks us our price range and we said it will depend on what we see then we will make an educated decision. His response was we have a 3.8 million dollar one. I understand I was vague when I answered him and he wanted to prove a point but I feel thats not the way to go about it. We are looking for someone to help us make an informed decision. Maybe sit with your clients and have a discussion to try and get to know what they want. Once you have a conversation you would know if we were there just to waste your time but rest assured we were very interested in purchasing a boat. Im very disappointed and wish youd taken the time to actually have a conversation with us, maybe even ask us to have a seat but I understand we were interrupting your pizza time.

Great first experience as a new boater. My wife and I purchased our first boat from Pride Marine this summer and the experience was excellent.Dave Stanulis was an amazing sales rep to go through this experience with. He made us comfortable in picking one out, making sure he understood uses before making recommendations. This was very low pressure and the process was fun from start to finish.I cant express enough how valuable someone like Dave is to have on staff. Any issue was met with understanding and confidence of a resolution which was delivered. Dave made sure we understood and were comfortable with every aspect of the boat from purchase to launch, to first water test. Will buy from Dave again and will send anyone I know looking for a boat his way!

Excellent experience from start to finish! Just picked up our new boat and I cant say enough about how it was a great experience. Chris from the Carp location sold us the boat, very friendly, easy going and informative. He even looked after our 4 year old while we signed some papers. They were nice enough to ship the boat to the Kingston location where Doug gave us a wonderful detailed water test, had everything cleaned and ready go. Super nice group of people at both locations, felt like I was going to see old friends and they treat you as such. I highly recommend both locations! Thanks again Chris and Doug!

My wife and I just purchased our second boat, but our first Yamaha. The experience was very enjoyable. Doug Hyde was very pleasant to deal with, very knowledgeable and professional. We was always available to answer our (many) questions and worked with us to deal with our trade-in. The sea-trial of our new AR192 was invaluable. Doug spent the correct amount of time with us out on the water, ensuring that all aspects of the boats operation were covered and not rushing anything.After much research on jet boats and their different manufacturers, and then meeting with Doug at Georges Marine in Kingston, Yamaha was the obvious choice; from (great) value for (less) money, integrated advantage of a single manufacturer for all elements of the boat, the top-side impeller clean-out port and slow speed handling, to name a few.We are excited to get our new boat out onto the lake!!!!!

First year at the Marina and can see if being a long term fit. Staff is friendly and the new docks are fantastic. Only issue is I now have to walk past the G23 to my boat now everyday and it makes me envious :)

Excellent service. We bought a brand new Yamaha 212 limited and the staff were very helpful and patient (answering all my questions!) Mike was great at supporting us through the process. Prior to going to pride marine I went to the boat warehouse where the worker asked me “to come back with my husband” and did not answer any of my questions posed. Of course, we did not return. We were very impressed with the service we received and would recommend pride marine to all our friends a family.

Great people to work with! I was ending a six day cruise on the river finishing up in Kingston before crossing the lake back to NY when starboard motor overheated. I didnt know where to go or how long it would take so sent my family home with other two boats with us. Called them in the morning, from Kathy at the desk, Mike the service manager and especially Tom who did the work quickly, professionally, and neatly I couldnt have been happier. Price was reasonable ( someone on here was complaining about $130hr which with exchange is a good rate here in NY) they recognized my situation and took care of me. Again I am saying thank you all! Do not hesitate to work with them.

I met Peter Kane at the boat show in January and subsequently interacted with him primarily by phone and email. He found me a family/ fishing dual console boat that met my needs. He had the boat brought down to a more convenient Pride location for me to look at and we negotiated a fair price, and I recently took delivery. Peter was always very responsive to my questions and easy to work with without undue pressure applied. He also connected me with the people who could do the aftermarket installations that I wanted. Overall a very good experience. The delivery captain, Chris Bannon, also was very thorough on delivery and in giving me very useful tips on my new boat.

I purchased a boat and trailer this spring and Mike Sears from sales, He provided a great no pressure experience and was very helpful though out the entire process. Great service. They brought the boat in from their Ottawa location so we could water tested it thoroughly before purchasing. Everything was quick, easy and enjoyable. Notice the nice matching font they used on the registration number.

We had an absolute perfect professional experience!! We had a very good idea what we wanted and once we explained our needs, our experience, our wants - Doug knew exactly which boat was for us and in a very short time was able to locate the boat and bring it in for us. We had shopped for boats everywhere and no one compared to the service here and attention to detail here - there was no comparison to Georges Marina - beyond reproach!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming and thats where the good ends. Extremely disappointed in how little stock is at the Kingston location for boats and parts. Anything I was interested in seeing had to be viewed online with the sales guy. I can do this at home.

We recently purchased a Bayliner 175 from Mike Sears at Georges Marine and Sport. As others have noted, this was a very professional, no pressure experience. The staff (including Doug the manager) really go out of their way to make sure that buying a boat from them is like joining their family. We opted for their valet package, as we dont have a vehicle that has the capacity to tow a boat. The boat was delivered by Rick (from Ottawa), who was kind enough to spend more than an hour with my family and I getting oriented to the boat, and even provided a quick adjustment of the idle screw. So far, we love the boat, and had a great experience at Georges.

Just got delivery of my new Tracker. Cant say enough good about Georges. I shopped all of the boat shops in and around Kingston and once I had my first interaction with Doug at Georges it was a very easy decision to continue with them for my purchase. Ive had nothing but good experiences from the initial contact, sale and delivery of my boat. No pressure at any time, a very relaxed process. Had my boat serviced and winterizing done. Totally disappointed by the quality of work, the price and most of all the way I was treated when I asked for explanation about damages done. My requests were never responded to and I needed to redo many things. I take my business elsewhere now.

Bought a used boat and trailer of May this year from Pride Marine. Took the boat out of the water one month later to find it has osmosis. Their response? Too bad. Tried to take the boat and trailer back to the marina for them to take a look at it, only to find out that the brakes and axel were broken. They charged me $2500 to fix this safety hazard, and were still stuck dealing with the osmosis. Totally dissatisfied.

My extended family and I purchased 2016 Bayliner Element and with the assistance ; guidance and advise of GM Tyler Mulligan we navigated a transparent deal; overcame some delivery hiccups; and enjoyed after sale follow up and follow through by everyone we dealt w/ @ Georges Marine!Very professional group we would highly recommend to anyone considering where to purchase a boat.

Bought a new boat from here (my 1st boat ever). Mike Sears was an excellent and knowledgeable sales rep. Unfortunately that is where the good experience stopped. Service has done absolutely poor work, every time i get something done it needs to be re-done. I was taken advantage of with price and had the smug GM Doug try to justify charging much more than quoted without anyone placing a courtesy call to have the time and money authorized. Now i have warranty work that needs to be done and since i havent been a happy customer they do not call me back anymore. I even had to call Bayliner myself since they couldnt fight for their own customer. I am extremely dissapointed with their service and management team. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I still havent purchased a boat but while I was in there the staff treated me super well and Ill be back to pick something out! They have a soon to be loyal customer in me!

I met Mike from the Kingston Shop at the 2016 Ottawa Boat show.I gave him an idea of what I wanted and answered his questions to define my search.We narrowed the decision down two two sizes of Bayliner Deck boats.Fortunately Georges had a special on which I took advantage. I visited the Carp store which is the closest and took a walk-around the DB190 and DB210 with the helpful staff. From here Mike sent me to a lovely Account Manager in the Eganville shop who went out of her way to provide me with all the options in Securing the purchase.I was also in need of a Boat lift. Mike recommended a Naylor Lift and it was delivered to the carp store. All questions, Concerns, advice and follow up were done in a timely and professional manner. My boat is now in the shop for its 20 hr engine warranty checkup. I must say that everyone who has been involved with my purchase from all 3 stores have been great. I still keep Mike in the loop about everything, because he CARES.

Was in at. Pride today pricing a propeller for my Mercury outboard and found their price to be higher than their competitors within a 100km radius. I contacted Mike Sears (GM) regarding this via email, he responded the same day and made a price adjustment on this item.

Friendly staff. I find this marina is quiet and peaceful unlike some busy Marinas.

Underwater and no repairs being done. Charging the highest prices for very poor conditions. Showers very small no washer and dryer. No garbage pick up after Labour Day. Bins were over flowing for weeks.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last place on earth I bought a new boat from them and have had nothing but problems and they have called me a lier and now they can’t even take the time to get a hold of me for a service I’ve tried to get a hold of them for 2 weeks with no response so I’d recommend staying away from this place

I would let my boat sink to the bottom of the lake before I took it to Georges for repairs. Labor rate of over $130 is crazy.
