Recently I attended and viewed some huge amazing looking Honey and Garlic Pork Chops. I ordered two packs of two for an amazing future BBQ for my Wife and I.Now that I have cooked both packages I can honestly say that they were terrible, nothing more than breaded fat and bone. My Wife refused to eat them after the first try and I carved and threw away more than I ate.I am not sure what is going on??? When Al first opened the business years ago the meat was outstanding. Does Al still own the business ??I am sorry for the poor review but the experience was not what it should have been !

I have supported Pig and Olive meat store for many years and have always had excellent service . The staff is very helpful . The meat is excellent and in addition, there is also meat from Australia which is also awesome .

Great selection and quality...friendly staff...who are open-minded and respect a persons right not to drink the Kool-aid i will be making more trips here...if only for their open and accepting attitudes for the sanctity of personal freedoms.

I am very upset to find this store supports anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers. This place shows no consideration to the safety of people and it makes me sick that they handle and sell food. What other protocols are they not following???

Shopped here for the first time last week. We were treated to excellent, friendly service and the quality of the meat is top-notch!

Went there a couple of times over the summer because it is close to home. Wasnt really happy with the quality of the ground beef we bought and they upsold us a different product than the advertised sale. But my biggest concern is that they have publicly declared they will not comply with COVID mandates. If they are willing to put my health and safety at risk by not respecting public health guidelines regarding COVID, what other public health guidelines are they ignoring. Our last time shopping there was our last time shopping there.

Some of the best steaks Ive ever had have come from Pig & Olive. Aged beef is fantastic! Friendly service, and a well laid out meat counter makes for a happy customer. It can get a little pricey for the AAA beef, but is well worth it. They do also offer AA 12oz NY strips, 6 for $50 pre-sealed and ready to eat or freeze. Awesome deal!!

So I think the negative reviews here are simply because prices are expensive. Well I would say you get what you pay for really. Yes they’re expensive but the quality is excellent! Staff were very friendly nice however seemed a bit young and in a way weren’t fully aware of their inventory and services they could provide.

Refuse to follow mandatory mask mandates. Public and foodservice operators should attain their goods elsewhere.

Absolutely incredible sausages. My favorite so far is apple and sage. Seems odd, but wonderfully incredible. Chorizo is another delightful choice. We have many others recently purchased to try.If it wasnt for Wendys Market, we would have never tried these and made the trip into Kingston.To put this in perspective, we do not buy grocery store sausages. We travel from butcher shop to butcher shop, between Kingston and Ottawa for all cuts of meat, looking for those hidden gems. Mostly disappointing, some decent, some are quite good.The Pig and Olive was the exception when it comes to sausages. We may go to other butcher shops for other items, but the sausage selection is phenomenal, frozen and fresh, and they are absolutely exquisite.If you enjoy sausages, and havent tried the Pig and Olive...... It is a must! Worth every penny.

Amazing shop. They have the loss leader $4 lb wings in many different flavors to choose from and an amazing selection of other great meats and packs (like 10 lb ground beef for $40). I just moved to Kingston and I think I found my butcher shop.

Good selection and variety of meats, always friendly service. It can be expensive but it is good quality, and I appreciate having the option to get haggis or other exotic meats!

Great meat here folks! I purchased 24 Hardy burger patties and didnt realize until I got home that they gave me a discount, thank you for that! Hardy Burgers are awesome too, try them asap!
