Wonderful ice cream, great staff, and a conscientious approach to Covid safety. I stopped by on a Monday afternoon in December and ordered a cup of ice cream from the takeout windows. At their recommendation, I ordered the Italian coffee soft serve, paired with the cardamom pistachio (hard ice cream), with rainbow sprinkles in a cup. It was delicious and fresh; the flavors tasted natural and the whole pistachios were an excellent touch. I will return on my next trip through Kingston and pick up some pre-packed pints to go!

Boices is known as the best ice cream joint in town and lives up to it! The portions are pretty large and the prices are low. I adore their milkshakes but their parfaits and even just plain soft serve are wonderful. I always order the small milkshake though because the medium is like a large and the large is practically a bucket. Most sundaes are great to share! They offer amazing custom ice cream sandwiches and cakes and their normal dairy products are exceptional too. Its a great place to go and enjoy ice cream with your friends.

Get there on time or not at all. They run out fast and rush service. The ice cream is good and fairly priced. The shakes are a little thick, use a spoon. The workers seemed friendly. This place is good for local, but if you want cheaper and better, go to Stewarts or ices sceams in Elizaville or Dells.

Skimpy with toppings, and no one wanted to finish there order. I am forced to write this,, by my daughter the milk taste of the ice cream was to fresh. Whatever that means.

I teach at George Washington, and one of my students love Boices. She say, Boices is really close to school and has the best soft ice cream. I love the twist ice cream cone because it has both vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The milkshakes are also fantastic and really thick! Ive never had pre mix chocolate milk before and I have to say it was delicious. I didnt know what I was missing. Very diassapointed they are not in this area. We purchased all the pints on the shelf and im looking forward to drinking them. I am debating if I will share. We also purchased an ice-cream cake for my fiance birthday . The icing was really sweet but overall good ice-cream cake.

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream had very little flavor, disappointing. They must have changed something/be using low butterfat mix.The small sundae had almost no fudge on it, but my family said that the black raspberry ice cream in that sundae was good quality.

The ice cream is good, but I wish their hard serve ice cream had more selection. They only had the basics plus one or two today. They had a nice selection of soft serve though! They seem to have removed the $10 limit on cards so Im happy about that. They had a sign up saying they were running a little slow because of their new system but I think they did just fine. The ice cream was good and the service was good as well.

This place is a gem. If you ever travel near or pass by Kingston New York, make a quick stop over. Try their different flavored ice cream, floats and sundaes. They even have a small store on the side if you wish to purchase milk, juice and eggs. Best part is the quality and its not expensive.

This place is usually so good and I would have rated it 5 stars, but the last time we went it just wasnt good. The ice cream portion was huge (which is a bonus) but we also ordered toppings with our ice cream there were basically none. We got a few things and one of the things we ordered was strawberry ice cream with caramel and oreos, the ice cream was good but there were only 2 tiny peices of oreos thats it two tiny crushed pieces. We then ordered vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and when asked if we could have a little more(the ice cream was barely covered) they said we would have to pay again. We then asked for hot fudge on an ice cream and when it came out there was barely half a pump we asked for more and she said youd have to pay again we showed her the ice cream with barely anything on it and she begrudgingly gave us a little more. We usually go out of our way to go here but we wont be coming back for a while. I think they should get bigger cups so they can fit toppings with the ice cream.
