Absolutely delicious breakfast bagels! Had the HOBO and loved it! It’s huge, btw!

Nice Bagel shop, friendly staff. I wish they had Vegan cheese available as an option. Brand name Tofutti is a great Vegan cheese to carry. It will be much appreciated by customers like me, and availability of it, if advertised, will bring more business for this beautiful shop.

A decent amount of options for bagel flavors and a few different types of cream cheeses. They also make omelettes and sandwiches. Overall quality is very good.

Ive ordered delivery and shopped in store at this location. The bagels are delicious and fresh and have a true bagel texture. Good selection without being too overwhelming. Staff is awesome

Great bagels! Fast! Delicious! I havent set a foot in other bagel joint on Route 23 since I found Kinnelon Bagels. They get things done so quickly! I find their egg sandwiches with Taylor ham on bagels really great! And the cranberry almond and cucumber dill cream cheese are my favorites. As much as I love their bagels, there are plenty of other options without bagels. Can’t go wrong with this place.

This is my GOTO spot! Their bagels are baked fresh throughout the day. Quite honestly, Im from NYC and tried many different bagels, this one is definitely one of my favs! Keep up the good work!! Lots of love for you!!

Best bagels Ive ever had

They are awesome on amount of cream cheese they put on bagel, but on Friday morning when I have stopped there at about 5:30am . There is either no bagels at All or very little to choose from.

Great bagels and they arent kidding about Kinnelon bagels being the best. They are quick and the bagels tasted amazing. It is a good place to stop. Two thumbs up!

We ordered 2 bagels with lox spread at $4.00 per bagel. The amount of spread barely covers the bagel. I called to complain and was told that’s the amount they use. When I began to ask for a store credit, she hung up on me. I called back and said that someone hung up and she hung up again!I guess we’re going someplace else from now on. Too bad we’ve been getting bagels there for 15 years!

The bagels were SO. GOOD. I got an everything bagel and it was more salty/garlicy than Im used to, but it was really delicious. One weird thing though is that my friend asked for a Taylor ham egg and cheese, and the guy seemed to misunderstand her/ assume something and gave her an egg and cheese. She still got charged for the THEC though. It seems unusual to assume that she wanted an egg and cheese, as that is not usual order. Wierd.

Food and people that work are always great! Except today when a young girl with long dark hair served me. She was nasty and rude, then to top it off made my food with her mask under her nose

I woke up craving diner food but I didn’t feel like driving far and no one was open to deliver so I decided to go to the bagel place up the street... I don’t particularly like bagels but I figured I can get a Taylor ham and cheese... when I walked in it was like walking into a memory of breakfast when I was little... it turns out it’s not just a bagel place... they have a grill... they have omelets... and everything else breakfast... I ordered home fries with 2 sunny side eggs and sausage patties... I asked the lady behind the counter to please make the eggs runny... she said I’ll tell them... and even tho she was wearing a mask I could tell she smiled cause she figured I like to scramble them with my home fries... I got home and literally inhaled my food... I fell into a mini sleep coma cause it was so... freaking... good! I wanna fast forward today just so I can go get breakfast again. 😊

Terrible serivice. Always check your pickup order before leaving, even if the cashier verifies it against the receipt. They will mess something up or forgot something. And they like to burn toast. Again, terrible.

Im sick of being inconvenienced by the service here. Everytime I get food here they dont get the order right. Every single time. I have to allocate an extra 20 min to the ignorance I deal with in the morning. Respect for your job has dissapeared in this country.

My first experience with New Jersey bagels and didn’t know what to order or how to order! Lol But she was very sweet and patient with me and suggested the Taylor ham which they are known for—and it was fantastic! Thanks for the suggestion!

I’ve lived right up the street in Kinnelon for 2 years, and had been coming here since. As of late, the service and food has gone downhill. 7 times out of 10 at least one thing is wrong. Last week, they lost my business for good. I’m bodybuilding and on a very specific diet. I went for a Turkey and Swiss egg white omelet. Specifically said PLAIN, just turkey and swiss. I get home and it was completely wrong. It was an omelet with peppers and onions. Of course I quickly returned and told them it was completely wrong. It was right before closing, and I was told that the grill was shut down and they could give me a cold sandwich. Again, I’m on a specific diet, low carbs and only at a certain time, so this is no solution. I finally had just had it left the food on the counter and threw my money away. I won’t be back.

I ordered through doordash delivery and they forgot to give me my cream cheese, when I called and explained what had happened, the woman on the other end simply said “OK” and hung up.we should really start supporting businesses that care about customers. Never ordering from here again!

I used to go to Kinnelon Bagels a lot when I lived in northern NJ and they were always really, really good! (Yes, I have tasted a lot of different bagels from NYC over the years!) I just love all of their sandwiches! The portions are very good so beware if youre not into huge, gigantic servings. :-) Prices are very reasonable, the staff is super friendly, and there is parking is never a problem...I dont think I need to say more. :-) Now that I live elsewhere, I really miss their awesome bagels!

The first time I stopped in, I was picking up a bagel and lunch on my way to work - the staff was knowledgeable and passionate about their menu, and worked seamlessly together to get every piece of my order in record speed, with a smile and genuine friendliness from the moment I walked in, until we left! The bagels are huge and fresh! The portions are extremely generous!Kinnelon Bagels go above and beyond for their customers, and I am so grateful to be one of them! Cant wait to get my weekend bagels there! Highly recommend: Chicken Waldorf Salad (huge portion! with fresh apple slices), cucumber dill cream cheese (SO TASTY!)

Fun little deli, bagel, coffee shop in the Meadtown Shopping center in the Kinnelon/Butler area. Great homemade cream cheese flavors for the fresh made bagels. Staff is friendly and food served up quick. Big Rite aid and Petco in this center, this shop sits between them with ample parking and rest rooms for patrons.

Not really sure what the problem was here. I ordered a tuna melt and a breakfast sandwich. The girl at the counter seemed overwhelmed with this order. After about 10 mins someone else asks me what my order was. The whole thing was wrong and they had to re make everything. While Im waiting I noticed the same exact thing happened to 2 other customers. I didnt hear their orders but I know they were wrong because we were standing there complaining. You need to find a better solution to the person behind the register who intakes the orders. It really shouldnt be that hard.

This bagel shop is horrible. The bagels are not that great and the girls here do not listen nor care if your order is wrong. I ordered a very simple thing. Not hard to understand. A toasted bagel with butter and cream cheese on both sides of the bagel served face up. Not hard right? Well what I received was a barely toasted bagel with butter on one side and cream cheese on the other. Im not even sure you can count it as anything having been put on it. It was so scarce..... Im never going back here again ever. A lot of other bagel places way better than this place and their half attentive staff. If i owned the business Id have a good chat with the employees for quality control and actually meeting the customers orders properly.

Very nice staff. Food was good. Went though doordash and was missing half my items. I called the place directly and was informed, We forgot to put it in the bag. Sorry we are short staffed. You can come pick it up? Usually doordash calls us not the customer directly. As I ordered it to be delivered, it was comical to be asked to pick up the food items they directly told me they forgot to put in my bag. When that wasnt my fault? Ended up getting a credit from doordash. I understand being busy, but next time maybe dont tell the customer that you know you forgot to add their food into their bag? Bad taste left in my mouth. Will only pick up myself and make sure all items are included. If I ever order again.

Great breakfast sandwich. Bagels are good. Eggs are cooked just right, a little runny to soak into the bagel. Coffee is nice and strong. Recommend trying them out.

Kinnelon Bagels catered a brunch for my family. Everything was wonderful. Bagels were delicious. We also did wraps and a fruit salad which were wonderful. We will definitely use them again. Fantastic!!!

Ive eaten at Bonanza Bagels and Kinnelon Bagels, and seen where you posted on one of the pics of Bonanza Bagels of the menu...You posted Theres no such thing as Taylor Ham, Its called Pork Roll! NO...YOU are in correct, it ABSOLUTELY is called TAYLOR HAM! TAYLOR is the BRAND NAME of the pork roll they use...a FAR SUPERIOR brand of pork roll over ANY other brand! They use the REAL DEAL! So lower your GREEN with ENVY head! Their food is MUCH better than yours! Your food has NO FLAVOR! I will never eat at your place again.

I am a local and have been going here for years. No more, I am done. Honestly, the older short woman with glasses is always nasty and in a bad mood. Today, she saw me in line, with two others behind me. She proceeded to be deliberate in cleaning each bagel tray, one at a time, then went into the back. It was a good five minutes, so when she did take my order, I wasnt happy. She could care less. G & A around the corner is more efficient and I NEVER get attitude, and just as good of a bagel.

Love the bagels here, however, the breakfast sandwiches arent that good. Ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese and got 2 pieces of Taylor ham and one slice of cheese. Dont be stingy with your breakfast sandwiches because other bagel places in the area hook it up. Also, the people who take the orders at the counter are mean and act like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. Not once have I received a smile from them, and $8 for 2 bagels with cream cheese is more expensive than the other bagel places around. I will keep coming back though because I love your bagels.

I have been a loyal customer here for many years, but i have to make a change. So sad how downhill this place has gone. Something has changed, and there is no longer any emphasis on good service. Their bagels are very good, hopefully the new guard wont mess with the recipes to save a few pennies. But I am done with this place. Theres another good bagel place right down the highway. And in town. And less than a mile from there. Ill use those places from now on.

I have been to this place about a handful of times and each time I went I was hoping my tastebuds were off from the last times,but this is not the case. This is the first time in life I had a bagel that has NO taste regardless of the flavor I chose. I will not be returning. Cannot fathom how a great looking bagel could be so bland. Like is there no salt in the facility? Also the texture of the bagel inside is off. Bagels should be chewy. These bagels look great from the outside but once you bite or cut them open the texture seems crumbly. Nonetheless, I will find another spot.

I went inside to get a double egg and cheese on a toasted bagel. The counter person informed me that their toaster was broken. I was confused, since this was a bagel place, I assumed they would have more than one toaster or have another way to toast a bagel. Since toasted bagels are a main menu staple. I may be wrong but this rubbed me the wrong way. And this was my second time giving this place a chance I dont think Ill be back.

Over cooked bagels/forgot to mention it was a dozen bagels over cooked and hard to chew

I ordered an onion bagel with butter. I have no idea why it took nearly five minutes. The temperature of the bagel was a little cool and it tasted under cooked. Is raw dough a popular new option for bagels? I expect a little more for $2.40. If I wanted to wait and/or get overcharged I would have gone to a diner.

A house with really savory and delicious bagels. The time to eat a cup of Americano and bagel with plenty of cream cheese is fascinating.

Needs to be more home town oriented. Asked to put a poster of our local sports team just for support and fun and was greeted with glum face. Its up in the other delis !! The owners response still does not get it !! Its more than just food.

Ive been going here for years, and I love their bagels and usually efficient service. My only complaint is that their bagels, like so many other bagel shops, have gotten to be absurdly large! This trend is foolish; We Americans are overweight as it is. Real bagels should be half the size of what they sell here. But its not unique to this shop; most New Jersey shops seem to be doing the same thing. Sigh.

Kinnelon Bagle sandwich’s are trash. Their Bagels taste like cardboard. Don’t go there. GnA is right down the road. But if you really want a good fresh delicious bagel Bloomingdale bagel has the best bagels around. Trust me I eat 3 to 4 bacon or Taylor egg and cheeses a week.

The place has gone down hill the last couple of years but I go because its convenient. Today though....I got a sandwich and a coffee. Cost me 10 dollars . I only had a 10 dollar bill, so I counted 150.00 in quarters as a tip and put it in the tip container. The cashier had the nerve to mumble thanks for the quarters. Wow. I didnt have to tip at all. Im done there. Not crazy about the attitudes or the food.

Good home made Bagels, a little expensive.

The prices were fairly competitve, but the food was bland. We purchased 8 bagel sandwiches, 3 of which had hair in them. We took the bagels back and were given new ones. As soon as we got back home, we found another hair in one. Needless to say, we wont be returning.

Bagels are super dense and flavorless. Not worth the money. I’ve been twice in the last few months once for lunch and gave the place a send change with breakfast. For lunch I got one of their specialty chicken sandwiches, there were two small super thin pieces of chicken. Second time had a bacon egg and cheese and it was so blah. Bagel was so dense you couldn’t even taste the bacon egg and cheese and the bagel had no flavor.

I find the bagels too big for sandwiches. But theyre good and the service is fast and friendly.

Better off going to g&a. . got ripped off three times there. They also have ripped off others too. Nearly called the better business bureau on them. They lost me and others i know as a coustmer. I was a regular coustmer untill I got ripped off by them. I gave them a star just because there local but I know others that would have not given them a star.
