This year was no different! Bought a gift and was specifically asked if I could get another! The stuff bought online was delicately and meticulously packaged and so is the one bought in the store. Amazing cooking store with very high quality cookware. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Also they have cooking classes for people to take which can be a fun date night experience as well.

I got a coffee maker from this store 3 to 4 months ago and it stopped working. I was going to submit this to the manufacturer so it can be repaired however I replaced my receipt. I called the store to see if they had record of my purchase. They said they found it and could exchange the coffee maker instead. We were excited that the store was willing to do this a little past the exchange time frame. However, the coffee maker was out of stock so they took down our info and said they would call us once its in stock. 3 weeks pass and we did not get a call. We call the store to get a update and they informed us that they still dont have it in stock. We explain our situation because we been making stove top coffee. We told them we can exchange it out for a higher priced coffee maker and pay the difference or we can just get the receipt to do a warranty repair. The store manager tells me that they cant find our info and even if they could they cannot honor our return. I told them the last time I called they found my info. They said they can see a purchase of the coffee maker but there is no name so they cant help us. Now we are stuck not able to get our coffee maker fixed and the store getting our hopes up all just to shoot us down completely for a return. Now we are out of $300. This was very poor service from Sur La Table. We will not be shopping at this store or company again. We have messaged corporate but no response from them either. I thought this store cared for its customers but seeing this service we were mislead. Beware of this before you shop here. To be honest go to another store that is not Sur La Table if you want better service. Lesson learned never trust a corporation and always keep the receipt.

Customer service is lacking! Went in midday to browse and buy coffee makers, employees wouldn’t even take the time to help me find prices that went listed on the shelf when trying to look for coffee pots, just kept doing what they were doing.After asking for help several times without any luck we walked out. Don’t waste your time!

Great store but the cost is way too much for some basic items.

My first time visiting after browsing the website for a year. Very impressed with the service and knowledge. As a person of color you never know what to expect when it comes to shopping in certain areas. My husband and I were treated very well and any questions we asked were answered accurately. Will definitely make the trip from Renton to this location again. Literally came for one $10 item and ended up spending a lot more!

Had to return a merchandise that I bought online to the store. The item had a defect and the online customer service instructed me to return it to the store for convenience.This was one of the worst experiences Ive had. The store worker was arguing with me trying to convince me that Im lying about the item for 30 minutes. His attitude was extremely rude and he was doing this in front of everyone else in the store.Not only I will never set foot in this store, Ill also refrain from buying anything from Sur La Table if I can find the same item in other stores.

Descent selection here worth checking them out but a few stars lost for rude customer service and for claiming that Apple Card is not a credit card they can take. Turns out they use some old card processing system that needs last 4 digits. I said the app has this I’ll tell you and I got an attitude from them for it. Sorry I tried to spend money at your store.

Drove 30 minutes to get to this store shortly after they open at 10am. When I arrive they are closed for inventory. You can’t come in early and inventory before the 10am opening? Store manager clearly does not care about good customer service.

I have shopped at all of the Sur La Table locations for many years, the Kirkland experience is fun; the staff is familiar with all of the products, use them and are just super kind and professional. If I am downtown I enjoy the Pike Place Market store also, it’s just not in my stomping ground. This 5 five star review is directed at the Kirkland Location as they are far more professional than the one that I left out.Thank you for all of the quality help, advice and excellent product that I purchased from you!

Sur La Table has the best cooking classes! It is so fun and educational. Great atmosphere and taught by chefs that truly know their stuff! Honestly the price is right, the food is excellent and it makes for a fun activity!

Whoa, did not expect this after shopping there for years!Like I said, I have shopped at the various locations for years. Most of the time my experience was OK since I didnt need to return or exchange anything. I happen to buy the wrong water filter for my espresso machine there. I did not have a receipt but I had the filter with the package and the SKU printed on it, clearly from Sur La Table.Without giving it a second thought I brought it in to exchange for the correct filter for the same price. I wasnt prepared to be treated like a worthless thief, not a valued customer, who spent thousands of dollars over the years.I left, upset and angry. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. EVER. And cannot recommend that you do either.Shame on you, Judy and the other, darker snooty cashier, who had no clue how to look things up. Shame.

Incredibly unprofessional. Never shop here. Called ahead and they told me they had Emile Henry creme brulee ramekins in stock. Emile Henry makes ramekins specifically for creme brulee. I drove here from Everett. All they have are regular ramekins that arent really for creme brulee. Unacceptable.

This store always makes me feel a bit claustrophobic, but the staff are helpful and the clearance section can have good deals. I found some great stackable double-walled Bodum glasses one year.

If you have the time and money, this can be a great place to shop for those kitchen tools you cant find anywhere else. I like this location because of its close proximity to the local businesses as well as neighborhoods, though parking can be an issue as all you have is roadside parking stalls

Its pretty expensive but the staff is very nice and very helpful.

Much like Williams Sonoma, sur la Table sells very high end cookery gear. Looking for breville appliances? They have them. Everything from coffee makers to the smart toaster. This location of Sur offers cooking classes which last about 2 hours for about $70 if I remember correctly. They offer a discount to shop at the store after the class as well so if you need something and are planning on taking a class, best get it right after. Huge selection of professional knives and my favorite buy it for life brand, Le Cruset. Staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable. Theyll sell you gadgets you never knew youd need. Big plus if youre looking for soda chargers for an ISI whipping siphon, ask at the counter, they have them tucked away!
