We had a fairly complicated issue with an older house garage door opener install. I honestly wasnt sure we were going to be able to find a way to get an opener that would work given all the restrictions. Justin came out super promptly and talked through a couple different potential solutions with us and then continued to muse on it for another day. He came up with a solution that allows the door to open quietly and safely and all within a very timely fashion. Justin was really honest with us and he was on time and very respectful. We will definitely be calling them again when we replace the springs on the other two doors. I couldnt be happier with their work and service. Scheduling was also really simple and Erika was very good about calling and getting us set up quickly.

They installed us a new garage door opener. Technician showed up in time, cleaned up after the work completed, explained all the features and programmed our additional remotes. Recently had Rainier Garage Door fixed a standard 2-car garage door, unfortunately they pulled the Lifetime warranty scam on us - They charged $310 for a pair of lifetime warranty springs, which is 5x more expensive than a standard pair of springs I can get from HomeDepot.I asked them about the brand and model of these expensive springs and was told its made by a small company, better quality than homeDepot ones, but there is no brand or model.Search web you will see there are many articles on this common scam by garage door companies.My garage door was fixed, time will tell the quality of the work, but I definitely would not recommend this company.

Something jammed the the garage door to the shed at our church so it would not open. I had a great experience years ago with Rainier Garage Door when they serviced the garage door at my house, and they did a quality job again. Robert arrived in the specified time window and even called ahead to give a more precise arrival time. He quickly assessed the problem, got the door moving again by aligning the guide wire, but then went the extra mile to make sure it ran smoothly. He noticed there was a gap on one side when it was closed, so he adjusted the door to close more evenly. He lubricated all the rollers and spring to ensure it would move more easily, and now the door stays all the way up. He noticed the guide rail was crooked on one side and straightened it so now the rollers are not strained or pulling out. He installed extra screws on the bars holding the rollers to the door since from experience he knows they have a tendency to pull out. He also added extra screws so the weather stripping was tight on the bottom of the door. He noted that the spring was old and could break soon, but no pressure to replace it, so I left it for now. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Rainier, and will keep using them in the future.

I wish all experiences with contractors went like this! These guys were great to work with. They just replaced all three of our old worn out wood doors with new insulated steel ones that are really nice and quiet. Competitive pricing, and they carry Amarr doors which I liked. The installer was great too. He was quick, professional, and friendly and helped resolve a problem I had been having with one of the existing openers.

I was having a problem with my garage door not closing and called them; the technician came at the appointment time and suggested a replacement of multiple parts costing about $1250 + tax. I wanted to get a second opinion and called Precision Garage Door in Bellevue, they fixed the problem in 5 minutes and no extra cost other than the appointment cost.Edit (in response to owner): You were called to my home through my property management company on 7/11/2020.

Called several places around the Greater Seattle area looking for a company who would have a great combination of service, expertise to fix my garage door along with reasonable prices. Many of them tell you they have to come out to give you an estimate with varying services charges. Did not trust any of them, as it is not rocket science to ask couple of simple questions before an estimate can be provided. The only one who did that was Rainier. They told me how much and what would have been involved right on the phone. Technician Robert called me ahead of time and arrived when he said he would. Did an excellent job in the time he had noted and at exact price I was quoted on the phone. He went beyond and repaired couple of minor issues at no extra cost. Great service from the first time I walked into the showroom. From coming out to the house to measure, then the bid, ordering, and excellent installation. Love my new garage doors! Highly recommend.

Its 4 pm and my daughter calls and states the garage door will not go down. I leave work early and head home to see if I can figure out what was wrong. The same technician that answered the phone was able to come out the same evening and replace the cable and plates, lube all of the hinges and belt and get the garage door working better than ever. This is the third time we have used Rainier Garage Door. They replaced two different garage door openers on separate occasions and one major garage door spring. Repeating business with them alone says a lot. They provide a window of when they will show up and they always have been within that window of time. The installers are very hard working and complete the job completely and with high quality workmanship regardless of how long it takes.

I had a torsion spring break on my garage door. Rainier Garage Door was able to give me an estimate ($50 cheaper than the other place I checked) and then make it out later that day to fix it. The work was done quickly with no problems, and I was able to use the garage door that night!

The large spring above the garage door gave out and snapped leaving us with a door that would not open. I called Rainier Garage Door and left a message which they returned first thing the next morning. They scheduled a same day appointment and installed a new set of springs. PERFECT! I am certain there may be times when they are so busy that it might be a day or two before they can get out to your home. It is well worth it! I can tell you this, these guys know their stuff. In addition to the spring replacement, they did a complete safety check. I have had them out in the past and will continue to call them as the need arises. We are thinking about a garage door replacement in the future. Rainier Garage Door is at the top of my list.

I had a great experience with Rainier Garage. The motor on my opener was going and causing phantom openings. Robert showed up the same day I called and did an excellent job, both from a technical and customer service perspective. He replaced the opener and the track wheels on the door - I can now barely hear the door opening! Rainier Garage is definitely not cheap, but you will have great confidence that the job is done right or they will make every effort to fix problems if they arise.

Turned up on time. Diagnosed the problem (aging motor finally quitting - it was 30 years old so we knew this was likely). Installed a new motor, springs and tightened some loose hinges in around two hours. Very helpful in clearing space in our garage to get access. No hesitation recommending to others.

My garage door refused to stay in the closed position so I called Rainier Door after my wife and I tried to troubleshoot it. The problem ended up being fairly complicated but the technician (Robert) was very capable. Thankfully the replacement part that was needed was cheap. The garage door technician who came to replace two damaged garage door panels was very friendly and was able to explain the replacement of the damaged panels very clearly. Once he was done with the replacement he carefully checked both garage doors and found that the second door needed a small adjustment so it would work better. Rainier Garage Door company is the only garage door company I will use for future repairs and service.

Highly recommend Rainier Garage Door, albeit somewhat expensive but then what isn’t these days. The technician was very, very good resolving all the issues I had with my two garage doors. They are almost as good as new now. The most impressive feature the technician was able to leave behind as his signature piece of work is the ‘delayed closure’ at the end versus the slamming down hard of what I had before. It is beautiful to see how the garage door has this slight delay almost at the very end before closing...so smooth. It was only possible after the technician fiddled with the timing button. Great job!

I needed springs replaced (two of them started stretching out of shape) on my two 18 yr old garage doors. I called on Saturday morning Jan. 20th and they gave me a price quote to replace the springs and said Tony would be there between 10am and noon. He arrived one hour after I called, surveyed the doors and explained everything thoroughly to me (Im an engineer and like to know whats going on). Tony was very professional, confirmed pricing before doing the work and did a great job!He replaced the springs and rollers, got the light to work on the one door and got the door to seat better on the garage floor. Both doors work so much more smoothly and more quietly. Under $600 seemed very reasonable and the job was done way more quickly than I expected! The issue started with a broken Spring; however, due to the misdiagnose of the first contractors, I had to change the trolley, then finally the entire garage door opener. The installer of the garage door opener mis-configured the opener, the door would not seal at the bottom, he suggested me to get a new garage door to fix the problem.To get a heuristic diagnose of the issue, I called Rainier Garage Door. To start with, Rainier provides a 2 hour window instead of a 4 hour window by the other contractors, this is very convenient given that I had to take time off work 4 times already to fix the garage. Robert from Rainier Garage Door called 20 minutes before arriving, arrived on scheduled, fixed all the issues that introduced by the two previous contractors and saved me more than 2K by not having to replace the door. I dont know whats going on with this company because they make appointments and are unable to show up. My appointment from last Friday was scheduled between 9 and 12. I got a call much later telling me there was no technician available so I rescheduled for the following Monday between 9 and 12. The same thing happened. I got a call after the fact telling me there was no technician available. I took time off from work both days to accommodate their schedule. Needless to say, I will not do business with this company.

We had some sensors that prevented the garage door from closing and the technician replaced them and did an inspection of our garage door to make sure all other things were working well.

I purchased a new garage door and had it installed two years ago. Last week my son lowered the door into a skateboard which knocked the door off the track, crumpled and bent one end of the door and popped the roller wheels off. To me the door looked irreparable and a new door would run $2000 or so. Tony, the service technician, arrived and was able to salvage the door for a meager $190.00! The next day the door wouldnt open properly and he returned and fixed the issue at NO charge! Thank you Tony! Also the rest of the sales staff were very professional and honest. And charged exactly what they quoted on the phone. $299 to replace springs which is a great deal. Both springs and have a warranty. Independent garage door guys can be shady. Highly recommend.
