They fixed the self-propel on my Honda walk-behind mower, diagnosing, replacing the drive belt, and sharpening the blades for $114. On their own initiative and at no cost to me, they updated my rear axle brackets, through some arrangement with Honda. I found the shop to be friendly and well organized.Their communication was excellent. My initial question, posted after midnight via the Contact Us on their web page was answered early the next morning. Both techs I spoke to knew exactly what work was necessary and why.Would definitely use them again. Recommended.
Ive owned a number of Honda Power Equipment products, and I am in the market for a new mower and a yard tractor. After doing a bit of online research I knew I was in for a costly visit to the power equipment store, and thought Id visit Goodsell since it is fairly close to my house.I approached the person sitting at the front counter who was somewhat brusk in his greeting and started to explain what I was looking for. Without really asking me questions, trying to determine what I wanted or needed, or asking what my budget was he pointed at two mowers told me that one was better than the other, but that the lower of the two wasnt as good as the mower I told him I currently had. I wanted more understanding of the difference from him, but after attempting to ask a couple questions I quickly realized he was not really interested in going too deep into the mowers.I then explained that I needed a small tractor with some versatility between mowing and snow blowing because it was going to be used at a property in the mountains. He waved his hands at what they had and said that the tractors they had wouldnt do the job, and that they had something that could possibly do it, but it was going to be $10-12k. As mentioned, I had done my research online and was prepared for this, but he had no interest in actually selling anything to me.Its too bad that this salesperson is representing the company. I certainly would not want that sort of representation if this were my company.I would not recommend this place.
We have a small landscaping company in Kirkland, and these guys are with us for many years now, and I got that is not fair just to give 5 stars they deserve more. The store is always well cleaned, the employees are always ready to assist, mechanics have good advises and a sure guarantee on there services. The main supplies that we need, they always have in stoke and if is something they do not have now in about 5, 6 days arrive. I always shop supplies and power tool from them because there is not a hassle when comes warrants, returns and that kind thing. They might not be the cheapest around but the quality of the service and parts makes it money well spent.
Ive been doing business with Goodsell for 25 years, since I bought my Honda mower from them. They have always been honest and upfront with me about charges and features. I also have a chainsaw and Kombi tool from them. Ive had my tools serviced by them and chains sharpened. Theyve never misled me. They are expensive as is their equipment, but reliability is worth a lot to me. I recommend them without hesitation. If you want the best, they have it and they maintain the equipment well.
I called these folks with some technical questions about a carving chainsaw. A lady with a thick accent told me she was the chainsaw sales person. I asked her about the MS150CE. She said she never heard of it. I asked her about changing the sprocket on a MS193CE and if the worm drive would have to replaced for a carving bar. She rudely told me someone would call back. No one ever did.
Great place with knowledgeable staff. Always helpful and they have the best tools and accessories around. Ive bought many tools (Stihl and Honda) from them and they are always my go-to for power equipment.
They have a terrible policy of $50 non refundable when you bring law mower in. I told them exactly what was wrong with the lawn mower. It was so expensive that I could buy a brand new mower for about the same price. I will never go there again

I really wanted this place to work out- a good, solid repair place for yard and lawn tools close to home? Yes please.BUT, we took in our Toro riding lawn mower that mysteriously quit working in April. We had no idea what was wrong with it, and they set about trying to figure it out. They took about 3 weeks to determine that it was an electronic part (that was ok, they warned us it would be at least 2) which they would need to order. Fast forward TWO MONTHS without a phone call, and we finally find out that no one had ever ordered the part, or it had been ordered but was sitting in a warehouse somewhere (depending on who we talked to) . Finally they get that installed and then they call to tell us they also need to repair the electronic clutch. Long story short- they had our mower for almost 3 MONTHS, maintained poor records/communication, and we still owed $700 for work that should have been completed in a couple of weeks. not impressed, and we wont be going back. Use them only if you dont care when you get your stuff back.Additionally, my husband had taken a chainsaw in for tune up/repair, and has had to take it back twice because it wouldnt start after they worked on it.

Best place in the Northwest to purchase a lawnmower, the staff knows their lawnmowers and if you need service they can do that too! I will purchase all my lawn products from Goodsell.

I took my mower in after having it in storage and ask for a tune up, when I got there the girl at the desk told me I would need major carburetor service without even looking at it. I was told their price for a tune up did not include any service on carburetors. They wanted me to cap out my cost at over $150 without calling, I told them to call if over $130. They said they were two weeks backlogged, and I had agreed to leave it for a $50 deposit non-refundable deposit. Three days later, I got a call it was going to be $270 for the tune up and required a new carburetor. The lawn mower was only a year and a half old when it went into storage. I decided to pick it up. $50 to explain the service they wanted to do but never looked at it. I took it to RG Power in Bellevue, and they gave it a tune up, which included carburetor service for under $100. When I got to RG, we realized the screws to the casing were completely undisturbed, it was never even looked at. Unbelievable, they wanted to charge me for a new carburetor, without ever verifying it needed one. I recommend you do not trust this company! I will NOT go BACK!! I used to take all of my stuff there, but not anymore!!
Best small equipment business ever. I try to trade here every chance I get. Not the cheapest place, but a brick & mortar that I try to support when I can.
I took my 16 year old Honda mower in for repair expecting to leave it for a while. I thought I had a bad blade clutch. The staff looked at it, informed me of the problem that I had caused and fixed it on the spot! I wish I could tell the world how great these guys are!
I broke the pull-starter on my oddball Scotts/Intek mower and couldnt fix it myself. Took it to Goodsell at the high season for repairs (May 7th) and they had it back to me in 1 day! The repair works perfectly and each of my interactions with the staff there were awesome: honest, up-front, clear and friendly. Highly recommend.Follow-up detail: same mower failed in June due to a blown head gasket and other engine issues. Dropped it off for service with a 2-week turn-around estimate. They had it back to me in 9 days and again were honest, up-front, clear and friendly from the repair estimate to quality of final work. Thanks Goodsell!
