Today I dealt with the rudest person ever on the phone. FYI, if you are going to work in a customer service position and answer the phones, your attitude and response directly reflect the company. Dont worry, I will go elsewhere!
I was hesitant to go here after reading the reviews. Honestly after my visit here I’m not sure why the reviews were so harsh. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. I would recommend going here for sure. If you want a friendly professional staff, this is the place.
Several months ago, I walked in with my Mother, (shes 79 yrs old), to help her get her glasses fixed, therefore, she couldnt see. She also has trouble hearing. There was a sign that said to stop and wait for a rep, which she couldnt see, the girl said rudely, for her to stop, which she didnt hear. The girl practically yells at her to stop, says masks are required and blocks her from entering, pointing to the Do not cross sign. Im telling you, I get the whole safety and protocols for COVID-19, but she cant see or hear hardly and she is there because she needed help. The girl was the rudest customer service rep I have ever dealt with. Neither of us, nor any family member will ever go there again.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had an exam in spring of 2020, with Dr. Renner (really liked her but she is no longer there). After this appointment I bought a new pair of frames and lenses. The lenses were to have anti-glare and scratch resistant put on them. I received the frames and within a couple of months my left lens had a noticeable scratch on it (this being said, I am very protective with how I treat my glasses). A few weeks later, this scratch was soon taking up a good portion of this lens (almost like how a windshield gets a crack and then starts to spread). With this being said, it really makes me wonder if the scratch resistant was actually applied to these glasses even though I paid for it. I went to this Wal-Mart vision center and was greeted with a very unfriendly associate (older lady with white hair- never have had a good experience with her) and she was uncooperative. So, I left without getting anything accomplished (and this is still within the time period my script was active). Now, the other lens is getting just as bad. I have a new pair of glasses that I can count on one hand how many times I have worn them, that are just now sitting in a case being unused. As of today, I went there again to see if I can get anything accomplished with another associate. I thought I would be in luck (I was willing to repay for new lenses), but since my prescription has now expired (by just little over a month) they wanted me to set up an appointment for another exam and plus pay for the new lenses. Also, keep in mind that COVID was running rampant after purchasing these glasses in 2020 and their vision center was even closed on more than one occasion-so how was I supposed to get anything taken care of when they were closed and I live 30+ miles away. So now I am stuck wearing glasses that I have had since 2012, with lenses that are in far better condition than this new pair. I used to go this location all the time, until I started seeing a more local optometrist; however, he is now retired, so I opted to return to this vision center site. I am very frustrated and will never go back again.
Upon the store opening I walked in to look at the display of glasses. the lady walked out and rudely said your not supposed to be in here. Cant you read the sign. And I said Im sorry my glasses are broken and walked away
Would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service is just awful. Especially Brandon, so rude. Would not recommend dealing with these people if you dont have to.
Dr. Renner performed my eye exam. She took her time, and explained everything well. Very nice and friendly, also.Melinda adjusted my glasses, and let me know if I had any problems or needed them adjusted again, to come in any time.I would definitely recommend Wal-Mart Vision Center.
