The store that doesnt want people to shop there... Ive lived here pretty much my whole life and have only been to Farm and Home a few times. When I walked in the cashier was on her phone and didnt even acknowledge my presence but I thought nothing of it. Was looking to buy some boots and I know they have a decent selection. Went to the boots, looked around, saw a pair I liked, looked around waiting to get helped forever, decided maybe all the associates were busy so I decided to browse the isles. I work at a place that has hardware and such so I figured Id familiarize myself with what Farm and Home has because there are some things we just dont carry. As soon as I started browsing the isles some dude walks over by me pretending to do stuff while watching me like a hawk, and continued to do so throughout the store. Once I got sick of being stared at I went back to the boots hoping maybe the guy would help me but never got helped. So I just said F it and went to leave. I try to shop local as much as I can which was why I was there, but I can get the same brands they have at Farm and Home at Carters with a better selection and not get treated like a petty thief while still shopping local. As I went to leave the guy that was following me around pretending to do stuff was pretending to do stuff close to the exit(probably waiting on me to leave), I wanted to take my phone, keys, and wallet out of my pockets and turn my pockets inside out and show him but decided not to make a scene. Bottom line Ive never felt so unwelcome at a store and will not be back there unless I absolutely have to for some reason. On a side note, I was amused at how archaic their power tool section was, all corded, nothing really up-to-date.
It a good place for a quick trip, they have a little bit of everything. Its always clean and very organized.
I had a great experience, an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly young man assisted me! I will go back! My previous experiences rated 1 star!
They had what we were looking for at a decent price
Love their selection of clothes and shoes. Went there for a chainsaw repair which was done in a couple days. So service was fantastic
Great home town place with friendly staff and good prices.
Great place to buy all you need for working around your home. Well knowledge employees. If one does not know the answer to your question. They will find someone with the right answer for you. Prices are very fair for what you are purchasing. Best Farm & Home I have done business with, Ever. I will be turning 70 soon.
They are conveniently located on the edge of town, and their supplies can come in handy. Ive made a lot of purchases here over the years and never had any issues.
Well laid out and easy access.
Small store, got some boots at a decent price, but very limited on items. Id say you are coming here for something very specific, rather than browsing or getting a bit of this and that.
Have bought a lot of stuff there over the years, most recently a few different Stihl products, the guys back there in chain saws are all nice and know their stuff. Always try and patronize them first. Every body there is nice.
Good variety of handy items and very helpful staff!
