Michael & team have taken care of my car since I purchased it there in 2011. I had another service performed recently (getting the all-important heating/cooling working properly). They took care of this issue efficiently (an undertaking given todays supply chain issues), gave me clear communication throughout the process and were even able to find as economical solution as possible. I absolutely trust this team and will continue to use them for future service - for this car and future vehicles.
When I dropped my car off in the morning for an oil change and tire rotation, I was quoted a 1 hour and 30 minute to 1 hour and 45 minute wait time from my 2:00pm appointment - and they would call me when it was done. So that would mean that I can pick my car up between 3:30-3:45pm. So I don’t get a call but I have my friend bring me back at 4pm thinking that they probably forgot to call. I am told that they are in the middle of working on it - it will be another half hour. That was completely untrue. I didn’t get my car until 5:40pm. I didn’t receive any compensation or apology. I was told that since it was a “drop-off” that my appointment time is void and irrelevant. If the car is left in their possession then they are only obligated to finish it by the end of the day. I live thirty minutes away and had plans for my boyfriends extended family to come over for dinner. I had to cancel last minute since I got home 2 hours late. I’ve worked in customer service for ten years as a manager so I have enormous patience but this was ridiculous.
Easy buying experience, no pressure. Relieved my concerns about buying a lemon by setting up a stipulation allowing me to have my mechanic look at the vehicle and Suntrup agreed to fix anything they find. If I don’t leave a follow up comment, they kept this promise since my mechanic did find something small but necessary. But it took Suntrup much longer than they stated to get me in to fix it, hence 4/5. Otherwise, great price, great car, would recommend.
Took my truck in for service and had to take it back because the mechanic forgot to plug in some sensors, now I am getting readings that hoses and sensors aren’t hooked up properly. They charged me for two scans to find out what was wrong with the truck when I told them it had to do with number four cylinder firing just had to figure out if it was the upper or lower. That’s $159.99 a scan. Don’t get me wrong they me well and nobody’s perfect. We will see how they handle the new computer readings and see if I get a response from them.
They were very good and greatly convenient. They kept me up to date regarding my vehicle and its issues including the recall. The price was reasonable. Enjoyable experience. Will definitely use again

Replaced my two front strut/spring assemblies after having blown one. Car was talking to me with each turn and each bump in the road. Figured an alignment was necessary at took it in. I’m GLAD I did. Mind blowing difference. Thank you Suntrup. And thank the tech that did it. Fantastic job!
Grace does a great job in Service and was polite, plus efficient. Checked alignment, balanced tires, and changed oil in less than 1 hour. My only gripe here is they do not have loaner cars from their own fleet when you need to leave a vehicle for several hours. Have to deal with Enterprise. Ill take my vehicle there again for sure though!
If there were 10 stars to give I would!!! Tiffany Nighbor went far and beyond to help me get the truck of my dreams! She was able to get me in an amazing truck for an amazing price and with tremendous care and excellent customer service!!!! I stumbled onto the New Ford Mustang Mach-E today at a doctors office parking lot. These look to be the manufacturer testing vehicles. Ive got to say I love the way they look. My wife had her heart set on a Model Y, but she said she could drive one of these. It will come down to the software and EV tax credit as our deciding points. Well be the first to test drive one when they arrive at dealerships!
When I made the appointment online it showed that they had a shuttle service. When I went there to drop off my car, they said it was not running due to covid. I had to spend $20 on an Uber instead.
It took 7 hours for a routine oil change, tire rotation.. we had an appointment, dropped car off early, left car and returned home. Waited for call car was finished. And waited, and waited. Finally called at 4 pm I called. Person said it was finished, just waiting for paperwork and she would call me back.. Then I called again at 5 and got a person that said, oh. Sorry, I forgot to call you. Service people, service. A very important part of your business.
Great service by Grace from the Service team. Grace understood the tight schedule I was in and was able to accommodate my ID/OD inspection in between other appointments they had for the day. Much appreciated!

I bought a 2018 Ford Escape on July 16th, 2021. It was a good transaction and I enjoyed working with my salesman, Matt. At that time and a couple of times since, he has stated that he was ordering a second basic door/ignition key for this vehicle but it has been almost a month. My understanding is that this was to be a complimentary key so I would have a second one.This oversight is relatively minor but does slightly mar an otherwise good experience.

My service visits have been quick, efficient, and the seating area is often comfortable and good for those like me that may have to open a laptop to finish up work. Worst most incredible service I’ve ever seen! You should be ashamed of how you treat customers like me who come here WITH another Ford recall. I have no problems with Suntrup but have significant problems with Ford Motors for its delays in providing the necessary parts to repair my 2017 Edge, even though the problem with my vehicle (coolant in the cylinders) is reportedly a widespread problem. You would think Ford would ramp up its production of replacement parts to meet demand.I do wish that I would have been provided a loaner vehicle while my vehicle was in the shop for six weeks.
I come here frequently with my autistic client whom I work with. He is very interested in cars, trucks, and engines, so we come here frequently to peruse their selection. The manager of this location, David Gibson, is always so kind to us in allowing us to wander and see their great selection of vehicles. They took me a few minutes early, which is always nice. The emissions inspection took less than a half hour. Easy in, easy out.
#1 Good luck getting in touch with a service advisor unless you have an appointment. Some clueless secretary setup an appointment.#2 Car towed to dealer on a Saturday different reasons from already set appointment. I didnt hear anything from them on Monday so I called Tuesday. Finally they put it in there system.#3 Warranty work completed but made o huge mess in the engine bay from the battery corrosion. Had to spend two hours cleaning out all the battery corrosion off the engine. Sloppy work.#4 ALWAYS CHECK UNDER THE HOOD FOR TOOLS BEFORE LEAVING ANY MECHANIC. Yes they did leave a tool and a loose nut from someplace.
Great place. I bought a 2014 Ford F -150 and it is in absolute mint condition. Got a good deal on it and they honored my trade in online price which was pretty generous. Kevin Lupo was my salesman and he was great and very knowledgeable. only reason not giving 5 stars is because the finance manager was kinda shady and not telling everything like the interest rate and pushy with the extended warranty which I learned they get a big commission from. All in all great place just beware of all finance manager for trying to sneak things in on you

I bought a Dodge Charger from here with the sales lady named Tiffany she was really great I thought she did a great job the car was beautiful except they did forget to mention that the trunk did not work, it would not pop open it has rope tied to it from the back and They failed to Mention that to me so I think that was a little misleading other than that I Think I got a is a pretty good car and I had a pretty good sales lady so thank you. Im hoping that the car will last me Is quite a while.
Worst service department experience Ive ever had (both times). Vehicle was kept on 2 different occasions for a total of 5 days to troubleshoot engine/fuel issue. Appointments booked both times but vehicle sat for multiple days both times and constantly received excuses of mechanics calling in sick, its too hot out so we are running behind, original mechanic is off today. If you are going to keep my vehicle for more than day of appointment I would expect some warning when booking or at least at some point that day. Ive used several other Ford dealers over the years but have never seen anything like this location. No need to contact me, I will not be back.

Tiffany was just terrific! That woman works hard!! We arrived with the purpose of looking at a specific car on their lot and ended up with another car that suits us perfectly. Tiffany was very patient with us and by days end drove home with the perfect car.
The individuals in the service department seem a little shady. I was not quoted a price for a repair, service, or diagnosis, I received no documentation, parts, or pictures. Just a bill after my vehicle was repaired. Very frustrating because I dont actually believe what they told me was the issue. But whatever, they win I have to pay the bill to get my car. Warranty or not, I will not take my vehicle there again! Ill have it diagnosed some place else and only go there for warranty service only. All this after they tried to cancel my appointment last minute (due to scheduling issues) and leave me high and dry last minute. When I told them the reschedule suggested didnt work for me, they said they could service the car but if it wasnt finished they would have to charge me for the diagnosis and labor twice. After some back and forth they kept my original appointment (I guess they figured out the scheduling issue). I guess this is what I get for not keeping my head down and just doing whatever they wanted me to do. Just a terrible experience, Im so disappointed.
Mike was amazing, he thought I wouldn’t get in till next week called the me back the same day with my car diagnosed and fixed .

Do not recommend! Took my car in for water swooshing in the door/engine? They said it was the wiper basins and cleaned them. I thought they were replacing both washer sprayers. Picked it up and water still there!!! Went back and they drained the door. Drove down the street and the right wiper sprayer wasn’t working! Took it back and they said they tried it earlier and it worked. They did not replace the right side! They said it must’ve broken as I pulled off the lot!!! Will not be going back there! Decided to fix it myself.
The tech and sale service representative were polite and knowledgeable. They both provided excellent service and it was not a long wait.

Had my AC repaired at Suntrup Ford Kirkwood. Chad in Service and the rest of the crew took great care with my 2011 Fusion. Only drawback was a delay in obtaining parts due to the COVID pandemic. Not their fault and car was ready earlier than anticipated.

Had a wheel scrape and a couple of door nicks repaired under warranty. The wheel was farmed out and took 3 days, but looks like new. The nicks were touched up by a detailer who did a good job.
I found the car myself and told the dealer I wanted to look at it. I just needed the information on how to get it from them but the dealer I ended up with kept trying to spin me something when I had already made it clear I was getting the car. He kept blowing my phone up with calls and texts that same night I left and the very next morning (was waiting on insurance office to open) and then when I tried to set up an appointment for the car they said I could give them he completely gave me the go-around and stopped responding and acting completely dismissive. Have never been given the run around for so long, everyone else was pretty friendly but my dealer for some reason wasn’t helpful at all and more so annoying. Had to call up there several times and they kept forwarding me to him even though I said I had already spoke with him and would like someone else. If you are looking for a helpful dealership this isn’t the one to do business with.
I am very disappointed in the service department at Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, I purchased my 2019 fusion in April 2021 and was very happy with the sales dept. And my purchase, upon my first oil service being due I wanted to use their service dept. For any service to keep all records there, I tried to get a oil service but they told me 2 weeks to get me in, this is not exceptable and ridiculous! Then today 8/26/2021 I had my 2nd oil service and tire rotation done at my local tire dealer since SunTrust is too busy for my cars needs, the mechanic at the tire store showed me that my reR brakes on one side is wore out and dangerous, since the car is under warranty I called SunTrust, after being hung up on 2 times they finally answered my call. ND MARK THR ADVISOR TOLD ME THEY CANT EVEN LOOK AT MY CAR UNTILL THE 1ST OF SEPTEMBER, THIS IS SOMEWHAT OF Z EMERGENCY. BUT THEY DONT CARE I then called another local Ford dealer Sinclair Ford. And they told me to come right in due to it being a safety issue. I DO NOT RECOMEND SUNTRUP FORD FOR ANY SERVICE WORK !

My 2007 Ford Escape broke down an had to be towed to a dealership per my regular, independent mechanic. Door sensor in the truck was going bad and activating the dome lights and door buzzer while driving. My mechanic told me that unless we could isolate which sensor, we would have to replace them all, quite expensive. To do this, the sensor would have to activate while he had my truck in the shop. We tried for some time and it being intermittent and unpredictable, you never new when it would happen. He said Ford dealers can scan the system and locate bad sensor even if it is not actually going off. The vehicle break down was due to door sensor activating the anti theft system and causing it to go off at random times including the middle of the night with horn honking and lights flashing. This obviously wore down the battery. Ford claims the alternator was bad so not recharging the battery during the day time.So when the truck broke down, I had it towed to Suntrup. I use my truck all day for work. They let it sit for a week before even looking at it, so no priority help for a break down vs. people just coming in for routine maintenance. I told them the sensor issue. When they did their scan, it simply showed a bad alternator they claimed and a bad battery. They did not address the bad door sensor issue, the excuse was that the scanner told them it was the battery and alternator, which actually were just symptoms of the power drain from the sensor and battery. When they called and said the truck was done, I paid $1302. Just for the scan, a new battery, and a new alternator. Over $400 was just to scan and diagnose the problem. And the rest for a new battery and alternator. The battery was just under 1 year old and under warranty and I told them this and I said to only replace the battery if necessary. All they had to do is charge the battery I had, even if it was defective I would get a new battery for free from my mechanic since it was under warranty. They decided it was bad and charged me for new one. Also, my mechanic who has worked on this truck since 2014 said skeptical about the alternator as it was showing no issues during a recent tune up. When I went to Suntrup to pick up the truck, I was told it was done. Within 3 blocks the door sensor went off, dome lights on and later in the day, anti theft started going off all over again. They acknowledged what I said about the door sensor, the guy I dealt with even explained that over time the truck computer anti theft system reads repeated door sensor activation as break in attempts and activates the anti theft system. When I drove off thinking everything was repaired, the sensor went off as I mentioned. I texted service guy back and he just said their scan said battery and alternator. I said, what about the door sensor? No further reply about that. I texted; did you drive it? Did you notice the door ajar light on?No reply. A simple test drive as my Mechanics (At Marshalls Auto in Maplewood, MO) always do, would have REMINDED THEM, that the fundamental issue that cause this chain reaction still hasnt been fixed.Considering all the time I wasted and the ridiculous price I paid for all this and VERY QUESTIONABLE need for an alternator and especially the battery. This service was a complete and expensive joke.

I was disappointed in the lack of transparency and overall cost of my recent repair. I brought in my 1975 Ford Bronco to replace an alternator belt — a $20 part. I received a number of text messages saying that they were having a hard time figuring out the right belt that would fit. I never was informed that I would be the one paying for their inability to source the right belt. When I picked up my vehicle this morning I was shocked to see the total bill was $733.

Had a Ford Recall service appointment this AM 11/18/20 for my 2015 Ford Fiesta. My first time at this dealership. WAS VERY PLEASED! Everything was explained 100%. Had a lovely area to wait, all the employees were very nice, helpful & friendly. Everyone used caution, a mask that was properly on their face, hand sanitizer throughout the service area, show room & office areas. One employee, wearing a mask properly, wiped down the waiting area coffee bar. When you have employees that work together to stay apart, then you have great employees. Everyone kept their distance.

Bought my truck here, had a small issue a few months later, they got me right in and took care of the issues. Apparently it was a known issue from Ford and I had my truck back the next day. Great service the way around.
2 stars is overly generous as this location has no concept of call backs and how to accomplish them. Nevermind the completely unprofessional service rep named Chad who spoke down to my mother-in-law and generally dismissed anything she had to say regarding a very easy warranty issue. He had several hours to follow-up with the warranty company, that day, about handling our issue and instead, left work hours early. When called and asked about the progress of the claim the next day, we were informed that it had not been submitted. Then, it was rejected because he was incapable of listening to a simple narrative and submitted the wrong information. All the while being condescending and snarky. It wasnt until we demanded, several times, to speak to someone higher up who knew what they were doing and eventually requesting to speak to the owner, did something finally get accomplished. Then, we had the pleasure of dealing with Chads manager, Collette who was just as unprofessional. Wouldnt return phone calls and avoiding the issues. The final manager we worked with was Tiffany, who was phenomenal, and she was able to sort everything else out. Lo and behold! It was a very easy warranty issue that could have been completed within a few days instead of wasting a week! We are all in the market for new vehicles and would never think of buying one from these people.

We used the body shop to repair our vehicle after an accident. They were ready to receive our vehicle at drop off and had us back in our freshly washed ride within a couple of days!
I worked with Matt Barthelmass snd he was great. Drove to another of Suntrups locations 40 minutes away just to bring over a vehicle for me to look at. It was the Explorer I ended up purchasing. The whole experience with Natt was professional and not pushy at all.Also worked with Tim the financial guy who arranged the finance package and even more importantly got the title work all done which was a bit tricky because my vehicle was and needed to be titled in my state of residence which was different than Suntrups. All in all a great experience.
These people are fantastic. I cant say enough about how awesome my experiences have been with so many of them. They repaired my old car, got me the perfect new car, and I have never been so satisfied with any dealership like I have with this one.
