Due to COVID-19, this salon had to permanently close. None of the stylists are in trouble. Its the virus that knocked out the place. The only reason why for the 2 stars is due to that maybe the head of this salon may have forgotten to switch the open/close to Permanently closed. The staff was very nice in coming up with a senior discount and a special price for getting haircuts for only $10.00 on Fridays. This place will be missed.

Annie is the best! The salon is wonderful. Everyone is super friendly and the shop is so clean and organized. No matter where you live, it is well worth the drive.

The first time I came here for a haircut, I was told the wait wouldnt be too long because they had 3 workers working. Well one of them was on break when I came in. After her break, she helped the people before me and then took a man who walked in after me. I figured he had an appointment with her (but I was told later they dont take appointments). She assured me I would be next, but she went on break again. After over an hour of waiting, I left. On another occasion I called to make an appointment to avoid what happened last time. I was told they only do same-day appointments, so I couldnt make an appointment, even though it was for the following day. So I waited until the next day to call, and they told me they dont take appointments for haircuts, only for coloring. Since this location doesnt seem to like working, I went to the Lemay location, and they were much more professional and helpful.

I love going here for a quick and hassle free haircut. The staff are helpful if you don’t know what you want or if you have an idea and it’s not to expensive. Friday’s are $10 cuts which is a great deal. But remember, tips always help especially when it’s that cheap.

This is the second time we have gotten my daughters hair there and they have done a good job and they were great with her. She gets the princess cape and the princess treatment.

Stylist was awesome and prices are very affordable. I have a simple cut and Ive had good experiences there without paying the high prices of a traditional salon.

I love the ladies at fantastic Sams. Mindy and Jocelyn are fabulous and friendly and they know exactly what i like done with my hair. I would come home and visit and they always fit me in when i needed a cut. I wont go anywhere else since i moved home.

Found my new place for getn my hair cut. Mindy is top notch in her craft. I was greeted as I walked in and put in the computer almost immediately. Used to go to the Granite City location, but not any more as I was shooed away from the door as it was locked 25 minutes before their closing time. With having 3 employees inside, thats pretty friggin unacceptable. 👍

The ladies always work quickly to accommodate needs of the clients. Very friendly and open about wait times.

Never recommend anyone here, worst haircut ever I had. There is no proper recption for receiving, hairdresser she didnt even touch my head asked me to move my head up and down, felt like racial descrimination when compared to how they treated other.

Jocelyn at the Kirkwood location is terrific! I always feel well taken care of by her and always pleased with outcome.

Good stylists know how to cut hair

I got a bad haircut there. The lady had to stop in the middle of the hair cut because she cut her finger while she was cutting my hair. Now I have spiky sticks standing straight up. I only asked for a little texturizing.

This bad review is for Britney or they lady working at Britneys station idk her name bc she was an unwelcoming not very friendly person who failed to even introduce herself.Brittney did an aweful job looks like my daughter had a bowl placed on her head for a haircut. Waiting til they open in the morning and someone other than brittney is there to try and fix this...very disgusted no words to express just how disgusted I am. I knew better than to let someone other than Erin cut her hair - ERIN IS AWESOME my daughter is special needs and Britney should of said she is not able or not comfortable cutting special needs kids hair instead of delivering this subpar performance.I sure hope theres someone else there in the morning who CAN fix her haircut. How embarrassing for her to have gone through this and only a couple weeks from her birthday party on top of it!
