ISABELLE OUR CASHIERMy girl and I came in for a white Christmas tree. Could not find any boxed ones, only display. We found Isabelle who did not hesitate to help us out, she got a hold of management who could not sell us the display.HOWEVER Isabelle was gracious enough to search other stores and find us the same tree at the nearest location. She placed our order and was super nice and helpful the entire time.Isabelle has the customer service of a chick-fil-a employee, give that girl a raise!
Great customer service. The guys helped me get the materials I needed for my fire pit AND helped me load them in the car. Thanks for all the help! 😃
When it come to lumber. Most of the time there like bananas. Other that that Im a Milwaukee fan and love em
This store almost always has in stock the items Im looking for and the check out staff are friendly and helpful.
As with many retail operations, staffing is the primary issue. They are working through it and doing a great job under the circumstances. It would appear that their big vendors are working the floor to help out. Kudos to them too.
Not enough staff....product not in stock....store is messy. Staff wearing masks, but pulling masks down to wipe face, run hands through hair and then touching product. The masks dont do anything except make it more difficult to understand someone when they speak.
Dan in the large appliance center was wonderful with my mother & I. My mother is quite Indecisive, Dan broke things down and and answered 100 questions, sometimes twice! Patience is a virtue and he has it. Thanks Dan, for your help.
I was standing around looking for a floor fan when a staff member came over and asked if I needed his help. That was so nice. He took the time and steps to really help me. Thank you for your excellent service and for the staff persons big smile.
Such a great experience at Home Depot the past two days. Needed plumbing supplies, and at one point had two associates helping me at the same time! I never went far without seeing an orange apron and a smile. I so appreciated it.
I received valued information from an associate in the Paint Department regarding a painting project I am attempting to complete. Thank you so much, Home Depot, for your help and suggestions.
Since we were in the west town area we stopped by this location because we needed to buy some carpeting. Waiting 10 minutes after being announced on the intercom that someone needed assistance in the flooring we finally seen one of the guys that worked in the department and chased him down to get his attention. We asked him if he could cut us some carpet that we needed and to my surprise he told us that “you’ll just have to wait a minute because I’ve got a list of things to do” and then he would be able to help us afterwards since he was the only one in the building to work the carpet cutter. Granted he may have known that we shop at Home Depot at least 3-4 days a week but we will definitely not be shopping at this location anymore since it is obvious that customer service doesn’t come first when employees have “lists” they need to get done first. Customers may not always be right but they should always come first when working in customer service.
The staff was very helpful and well informed on the products they sold. Worth the trip.
Simple store layout makes it easy to find everything I needed.
Ordered something online, got the email that was ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store and checked in I was told they would bring it right up. After waiting and waiting my wife checked and was told it would be an hour before the would have the item ready. They never even told me about the wait. Very poor customer service!
I love this Home Depot!! I always have such a wonderful experience here compared to Lowe’s aka Blows right up the street. Goose is the man! He was extremely helpful!! This Home Depot has excellent employees that are always so helpful and friendly!
They have crazy friendly service. Always knowledgeable and helpful!
We love Home Depot bc the service is Great and their merchandise is also.
Great place for tools and anything else ya can think of
This is a nice store that I frequent often. Finding anyone to help find items seems impossible sometimes. However, this is the closest store and we will continue to shop here.
You sell ryobi and maybe one other brand of weed eaters. And that is fine. You have hardly any replacement parts for the weed eater. I needed a part today. You should have replacement parts for the weed eater if your going to promote all of those attachment. If the motor doesnt work. Nothing works, that would be at least 6 to 7 attachments
Not a fan of the Home Depot at this time...terrible parking lot especially with the forever temporary closing of the lot access road near the new Autozone.
I am very disappointed with Home Depot on how they managed a product defect on a Ryobi battery powered lawnmower at the Kingston Pike location on Saturday, July 31st. The safety lever which turns off the mower when it is released no longer worked. Consequently, the only way to turn off the motor was to remove the key. Because of the terrain we mow has several hills, we immediately returned the mower to the store. We also purchased a two year extended warranty on the mower and this warranty was still in effect. I was instructed the mower had to go to the internal repair shop within the store and was given an approximate time to repair the mower of 6 weeks. I was told the mower would be sent to corporate in Atlanta because of the safety flaw. The response to this issue was unacceptable. Why did we purchase a two year warranty? Further, the defect constituted a serious safety flaw which should have allowed for the exchange of another functioning mower. I would not have even had a problem using a used, rental mower while waiting for the one being repaired. A two year warranty is worthless if it removes the ability to use the item or a similar item for a six week period of time. The mowing season will essentially be over in six weeks. If Home Depot is going to sell Ryobi products with an extended warranty, they need to do a better job responding when the product is faulty and under warranty. Unfortunately, this was one of several Ryobi product issues we encountered over the past five years.I left the store and purchased a new battery powered mower at Lowes. I hope Home Depot corporate will examine this incident further to avoid future unfavorable experiences with customers.
Ive got to go to HD more instead of the blue logo. Found what I needed.
Generally have what I need but could be more helpful
Home Depot was nice! They had spaghnum for my flytraps, tons of outdoor plants and garden supplies, and 3 employees asked if I needed help. It was also nice to just wander through and see all the plants and birds.
Reasonable prices, Courteous and very helpful employees. Young man in the paint department is extremely knowledgeable in paint and very well mannered.
Well stocked and helpful staff. Knowledgeable and courteous. Bathrooms were very clean.
Great store, clean. Simple layout.
Great customer service, but they were out of stock on a lot of items.
Great customer service! Pro desk was very helpful!
I bought 36 bales of cellulose loose-fill attic insulation, knowing the 24-hour rental for the required blower machine would be free. Got the insulation delivered, then waited and waited for a dry Saturday. Finally a dry Saturday came up and I called my nearest Home Depot to check on blower availability. No dice. I called the next nearest Home Depot and they said they had the blower, come on down. 15 miles later, I walk into the Tool Rental and, sorry no blower. The very next day, I challenged fate yet again, but this time my 30-mile round trip resulted in getting the elusive blower, its heavy-duty extension cord and two trash cans said to contain 100 feet of 2 1/2 inch hose. I had the insulation, the equipment and my helper in place My part of the job was creeping around with the hose in the attic in my mask, goggles, knee pads, headlamp and cell phone (to communicate with my helper). I installed almost two out of my 36 bales of insulation when the hose clogged and stayed that way. This setup and installation all took less than two hours. The next three hours were spent pulling the hose back out of the attic and trying to see if I could fix whatever was causing the clog issue. By the time it was clear we were running out of daylight, Id spent 3 hours messing with the hose (which I thought would be in two 50-foot segments but which was in about 6 or 8 pieces that I had to tape together). No further insulating was accomplished and I returned everything to Home Depot Tool Rental, never to return. I was credited back my deposit in full, so that was good. Otherwise a huge huge waste of time and money - I still have over 1,000 pounds of insulation behind the house. Epic fail.
It is a very nice store. Staff is friendly and helpful
Love it especially the smell! Always helpful employees!
Lexie had gone above and beyond by holding off taking her much overdue lunch break and helped me with a ProServices phone order. I cant thank you enough for outstanding customer service. She was extremely courteous and kind.
Great personal advice by staff. Checkout staff are always professional, and friendly too!
Very clean well kept witj great staff.
Love Home Depot the plants are great. If you need something you can find it here.
Poor customer service, at least on the weekends. After asking 2 associates for help unlocking tools for purchase, I stood by for more than 10 minutes waiting for assistance. No employees to be found in the tool section or nearby. I finally got tired of waiting and went to Lowes.
Ordered a standard front door through them back on April 12. Was told initially it would take 6 weeks. Now it’s June 9th and found out the order wasn’t placed right away so new estimates delivery is June 23, now the estimate is 10 weeks but to add additional time they say it will be an additional 4-6 weeks for installation so a total of 14-16 weeks. After asking to talk to the door/ millwork department I was hung up on. Throughout al if this I have received NO communication from the Home Depot. Looks like I’ll be going somewhere else in the future. Poor customer service all around.
Very well stocked and clean. One of the best Ive been in. Left one star off because I only give 5 stars if employees are sincerely helpful. They werent rude or anything just didnt go out of there way to make me smile
Got the stuff I needed and great service from Andrea!
Be careful about orders. VERIFY if you want Ship to Home before placing orders
Ok store if you know what you need. Some employees are super nice, some are... I don’t know what they want.
Did not have item needed and directed to 3 departments to be told I ly available in small size. Having to go to another Home Dept to obtainProduct.
Check out lady very helpful!
Excellent business, wide selection of products, good prices, convenient location, friendly knowledgeable employees.😊
Much better then lowes.
Home Depot rocks! Super friendly staff and available to answer my questions. Its my favorite home supply place
Great store for your house wares.
Stores in same district within 10 miles of each other should have uniformed pricing.$99 for product in West Knoxville vs $25 in East. Same sku. Price of 2x4x8 .78¢ more in different store again, same sku number. They are taking advantage of people in areas with a better economy.BAD BUSINESS !
Kelly helped us out to find some metal cutters and other supplies. Thank you so much! You were really helpful and knowledgeable!
Nice store, helpful staff!
Was different we dont have one where we live
Excellent customer service and knowledge. Jessica was very patient with answering questions and helping me make a decision regarding under cabinet lighting.
West Knoxville Home Depot is my favorite in the area they usually have everything I need when I go
The Home Depot carries a full line of home repair items at a competitive price. I wish they would honor our veterans and offer the discount for them every day as their competitor does. I find myself going to Lowes more when I need big ticket items.
Best place to buy tools
Home depot will 90% of the time have what you are looking for. Good store with friendly employees.
The aisles were clearly marked. We found what we were planning on purchasing. We didnt require assistance but there was plenty of employees ready to help.
Ran in, found what I needed and checked out at the self checkout. Decent prices on what I needed compared to others. My only complaint is the very poorly designed parking lot, particularly where you enter and exit along the side road near the Kingston pike entrance. The cars coming in go up a blind hill and the cars exiting some of the rows need to make a 130 degree turn into traffic to get out of the parking lot.
Best selection of any of the HD’s in Knoxville, especially for plants.
A few years ago my family returned from a trip to find our SUV had been broken into at our parking area near the Atlanta airport. Since a window had been broken, glass was all over the second level of seats. We drove to a Home Depot near the airport to get a cardboard box and some duct tape to cover the window. The people at the Home Depot were more than helpful. They gave us a box and, when we asked if we could borrow a shop vac to remove the glass shards, one of the employees spent many minutes vacuuming our vehicle. This was now well after the stores closing time. I am a loyal customer of Home Depot.
Amazing return warranty on items here I was shocked on the time frame. The staff were helpful and friendly. I even had items on me that I had already purchased which I explained to them and I had no issues at all.
Had everything I was looking for and friendly staff willing to help you whenever it was needed...
Good, got what i wanted price not bad either
I can always find what I need...
Mask wearing is not inforced. Had an encounter with the guy working the contractors desk in which I asked for him to put his mask up. Kid you not. He eye rolled like the best of them while he pulled up his manly camo mask up. Nice.
Home Depot NEVER has anything you need in stock. Its a complete waste of time even attempting to buy anything in the store.
Clean store. Well organized. Lots of plants to choose from!!
Im not one to write negative reviews, but I cant hide the lack of customer service and understanding at this Home Depot location.I purchased a washer and dryer and selected the Home Depot installation service. Everything seemed to go smoothly, and the set was working great.Fast forward 10 months when I went to change the dryer cord in order to stack the dryer. During the installation process, the installers must have dropped a terminal screw. They used a screw that was a smaller diamater and different threads. The result was a loose connection that ended in a terminal block and wiring that were completely burnt up. We are lucky our house did not catch on fire.Even though the dryer is under warranty and the installers were clearly at fault, the folks at Home Depot have been horrible to deal with. Even though we had all the pieces with us, and talked in a calm manner, they could not understand what the problem was nor take responsibility. We have been sent to 6 different people to try to resolve this.Maybe I should have thourghly checked the installers work, but I thought I could trust the installers Home Depot contracts with. Turns out I was wrong.Needless to say, Ive switched to Lowes.
Helpful staff. Clean store. Good inventory.
Rented a transit van for small project and to pick up a riding mower and it was cheaper than getting a uhaul
Good service, item displayed was properly marked with correct price
Great crew of people!!
Found exactly what I needed
Store was very clean, cheerful employees
Amazing prices - up to 40% cheaper than competition (Walmart, Amazon, Lowe’s etc.) for some products. Great service, knowledgeable staff and extensive collection of products.
Our favorite place ❤
I called to check the availability of a skid steer and after 15 minutes of listening to the automated voice talk to me because nobody would pick up the phone, I hang up. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I do a lot of business with Home Depot but if you can’t schedule employs well enough to have someone answer a phone call then I’ll shop elsewhere.
Nice selection of quality plants for my yard
Big place for this area
Well organized, has everything.
Home Depot refuses to provide adequate customer service and conflict resolution for the subcontractors they hired to deliver and install my washer and dryer. They use an incompetent delivery service that did such a poor job screwing in a dryer cord that it nearly caught on fire, and it probably would have if I didnt catch it in time. They didnt even use the correct screw that was supplied with the dryer. My assumption is they lost the conducting screw and just used whatever screw they could find to attach the cord. This is dangerous and potentially life threatening. Home Depot also refused to help in any capacity for the first several times I visited the store. I havent made any progress in getting this issue resolved after two months, dealing with a total of 10 people, having a Samsung technician professionally diagnose the situation, and making complaints to the Better Business Bureau, Home Depot, and R.A.S Logistics. Do not buy any appliances or large objects that need to be delivered and/or installed from this store. The management will not stand behind the delivery service that they subcontract with to complete the installation.
Very helpful and professional
Regular good old hardware store but a little far.
Had the pleasure of speaking to a Scotts lawn treatment representative who gave me much needed and appreciated advice on how to treat my lawn! Thank you for having him there!
Special orders came in Fast. Thanks
They had the fasteners I needed and check out was quick
After asking, immediately found what we wanted in garden area.
Average City (little tiny bit of everything in small quantities ) homedepot
The warehouse is usualy clean and well setup with big signs for the departments. The staff is also always on hand to help you out when you need it.
Home depot is the only place I can finc 30x14 HVAC filters. For that they rank fairly high. However, as a whole, the environment in Lowes stores is way nicer to me. The Lowes stores seem better lit and better organized and are my preference unless its something Lowes doesnt stock
Great customer service
Loews is so much better
Reasonable prices and they give military discounts
Clean store, respectful staff. Theyre having staff and customers wear a mask during the current pandemic which is good. The self check out machines are quite fancy, fun and easy to use and even show an image of the item you last scanned.
