A simple oil change and tire rotation took over an hour and a half from when they started working on the car. The employee didn’t seem to care or have any sort of work ethic. Walking around. Not paying attention to his job, and not staying on track with his job. Not coming back here ever again for an oil change.
Always very professional and quick! Excellent service, as promised, every time.
Incorrect hours. Open at noon closes at 4 apparently.
Ordered tires...was told they didnt have them...they ended up being there the whole time which made me miss my original appointment. Booked one 1 week later only to find the order was wrong as the tires that were sent were wrong, then had to wait for 4 hours to be corrected. Watched numerous people wait hours for simple oil changes. Ruined my Saturday...ruined the Christmas present that was gifted to me...and they still managed to tell me I owed them money. One of the managers named Justin was absolutely awesome in helping. I wouldnt refer anyone here for auto care.
Had 4 new tires installed. In on time, done when they predicted. No shakes or pulling, did a good job. 1 star for wally world corporate that had taken all the chairs out of waiting room because of covid. Im disabled and cant stand up for 1.5 hours. Sat on the floor in the closed off waiting room. Not comfortable.
Had a tire replaced they were fast
POS WALMART
The service was good. Got there early and took around 20 to 25 minutes to get oil changed.
Fast service from start to finish
Very unimpressed. If I could give no stars I would. My husband and I are from Nebraska and we are visiting family for Thanksgiving. We decided to buy tires during the black friday event. The guy behind the counter initially was very friendly and helpful. We bought our tires and made our appointment for 4:00 Saturday, explaining to the man that we were from out of town and were leaving Sunday morning to go home. He told us to expect about an hour wait so I scheduled another appointment for 6:00 thinking even if they ran behind that would give us some wiggle room. We came in right at 4 to drop off the car. I asked the man (who was the same guy when we made the appointment) if it was still an expected hour wait and he said yes. He also made a comment about us being from Nebraska so I know he remembers us and our prior conversation about leaving the next day. We do a little shopping around wal mart and then at 5 I went back to pick up my car. I stood in line for probably 15 minutes before I finally got to the counter. There is now a new man behind the counter (believe his name was Jim and his tag said assistant manager) and he informs me that my car hasnt even been in yet. He says one of their tire machines is down. I told him we had an appointment at 6 that we needed to get to and he suggested we reschedule the installation. I told him we were leaving for Nebraska in the morning and had to get it done that night. He blamed his other guy for not letting him know the 4:00 appointment had showed up. He didnt have much to say when we asked why we didnt even get a call about how behind they were or why on earth the other employee said it would only be an hour at 4:00 when they clearly new at that point they were running behind. He did go back and take care of my car at that point but by the time he had finished I didnt have adequate time to get to my appointment and lost the money I had put towards it for not being able to cancel within 24 hours or reschedule. The man did end up taking care of our tire installation fee but only after we fought him for several minutes about how unprofessional the whole ordeal was.On TOP of everything else there was a woman there having random outbursts of cussing, saying she had been waiting for 4 hours and was still there when we left. Another woman was waiting around because theyd lost her paperwork. A couple of men were telling each other they werent going to be returning after their visit today, and I see now from the reviews we arent the only ones having these experiences. So in short they clearly dont have it all together here and you should probably take your business ANYWHERE else.
Here to get a flat tire fixed.
Oil change and tire rotation. someone should let them know to under-promise and over-deliver is a better strategy for customer service. telling someone an hour and a half and then an hour and a half later telling them 45 more minutes doesnt work well for customer satisfaction even if youre short on staff
Very professional employees...
I have regularly been getting my oil changed here and Im very impressed with the customer service, service to my car, and the management team. I am told that my car would be done at certain times and the technicians always get my car taken care of much sooner than I originally have been told, Plus they go above and beyond.Today I was informed that there would be a two hour wait since there was only one technician working due to the weather, and they STILL got the job done alot sooner than the two hour wait I was advised of.
Lack of training. Make sure to check your vehicle over after they have serviced it. Or better yet take it else where.
It seems I love all the places I go. I would not visit a place more than once that doesnt provide a great service or selection. Great value and I would recommend this place for value and quickness along with convenience.
Got me in so I would have safe tires for the upcoming snow season!
I took my Mercedes here to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced that I purchased elsewhere. I showed the service writer the directional property of the tread. When I picked my car up the passenger side tires were backwards. I was patient with the service writer and agreed to bring the car in the next day to have it corrected. My sister took the car for me. The tech over the phone stated he could not flip my tires around as they were an asymmetrical tread and then stated that for him to flip the tires around would be a liability to the shop as the tires would be running backwards. Asymmetrical - backwards? If tread is asymetrical the tire can be put on any way while a directional has to be put on in a particular direction. This guy is telling me that my tires are asymmetric but he cant flip them around as if they are directional. Nice job guys! I also LOVE the scratched up beads on my AMG Mercedes wheels that you clowns messed up while putting my tires on. Now Ive got $200/wheel refinish cost on me as well as another shop to remount the two tires you messed up on. I wouldnt recommend getting even your windshield wash refilled by these clowns! I SHOULD be contacting a lawer!
Got the tires I wanted at a fair price. Installed quickly. The employees were very polite and professional.
Needed an oil change. Got there 10-15 minutes after open and already had 2 cars ahead of me. The got me in a few minutes earlier than stated, and had my car done much faster than I was expecting. Customer service was excellent as well!
Went in for an oil change and to get a headlamp installed. Ended up there for just ahort of 2 hours. The car itself was in the actual shop for 1 hour and 13 minutes. Seems a bit extreme to me. Ive had trouble here in the past. Definately wont be back again, convienent or not.
You should assume nothing and are rolling the dice getting service done here. If things go well, you will get relatively quick and cheap service from guys who have no incentive to upsell you on products or service you dont need beyond an air filter or wiper blades and you will be able to get groceries or other stuff you need in the store at their low prices while you wait, saving you time. Their waiting area is cleaner than those of most smaller independent competitors in the area. Those are considerable upsides. On the other hand, in 12 years or so Ive had a stripped bolt which forced me to have additional work done elsewhere, an oil cap not put back on properly such that oil ended up sloshing around the engine compartment making a mess, and a couple times now where what is supposed to have been a 1 hour or less job have dragged on 2 hours or longer. They dont compensate their employees well and struggle finding or retaining knowledgeable or invested employees as a result. A sign stating No Waiting, get your oil changed now should not be trusted as I found out when I asked if my vehicle was done after 30 minutes and was told it would be another hour and that the sign had been out for a while (no apology or offer of fixing the mistake, though someone apparently did turn the sign soon after so customers wouldnt as easily see the side of the sign saying no wait. Total time: 130 minutes waiting) Another potential downside of having work done here is that because the guys have no incentive to upsell you and usually have limited knowledge, you should not assume they are able to alert you to other issues your vehicle may be developing. Also, dont assume they will take the time to actually check to see if your air filter needs replacing if you tell them to replace it if it needs it when getting an oil change (another issue here in the past couple years.) You get what you pay for in the long run. Cut-rate service for cut-rate prices is fair, but they should be clearer that is what they are offering.
The work gets done. Eventually. Was told 45 mins to mount and balance one tire. Took over 2 hours. Not happy.
Fred and the crew at the Tire Desk is very knowledgeable and does a great job explaining their products.
There is no phone service to speak of, they do not answer the phone period, even the main desk tells you that when you call. They are not staffed to meet the needs of their customers. The best time to come in for the working person is in the morning as there is only one tech on after 5pm. Poor planning. I spoke with a manager to order tires and he said he would call when they got in the next day. That was over 7 days ago. Poor, poor, poor, would give negative star if I could.
They could have told me over the phone that they had a full roster at auto center and had waited (3) three hours for my car plus they never called to inform me that it was ready. Really!! Come on you guys.
Went in for an oil change and was told there would be a 2 hour wait. Given the fact that it was a Sunday and no other auto place was open we decided to wait. While waiting we went and wandered around the store and 2 HOURS AFTER CHECKING IN and being told that they could do our oil change we received a call from the auto center. They informed us that they in fact did not have the oil filter for my car and would be unable to do it. Now the oil filter in my car is the standard one for the make and model so if they didn’t have the filter for it they should have known that at check in when they checked out the car not after making us waste 2 hours of our Sunday. What made it worse is that the employees were not even apologetic about the incident. Also, after all this we went to leave and realized that they had left the plastic seat covers in my car instead of removing them after use. Needless to say I will not be returning to this Wal-Mart auto center any time in the future. Very horrible service and would not recommend to anyone!
Their very slow
Rude and unprofessional
Terrible service. I spent $47 on an oil change just to get oil all over my hood and inside trim. My inside trim! How does that even happen!? And they didn’t even put enough oil in the car. It’s under the add line! Seriously a joke. I doubt they will even contact me about this.
Had an oil change done that took well over the time estimated. Went out to car to find they had overfilled the engine oil by almost a full quart. Will not ever come back again.
Overall, this has been the most troublesome tire buying experiences I have had. I figure it would be a good idea to inform people so they can avoid an inconvenience. First off, it is very hard to get a hold of them on the phone. They seem to be a lean operation, which explains the great prices but also explains the staffing and resources available to them. I often had to drive there in lieu of being on hold for 10-15 minutes. This journey first began when I called to order 5 tires and I told them exactly what I wanted. They said they would be there in 2 days. Great, and yes they did order the tires, but the wrong ones. Might not be their issue, couldve been a supplier issue, but it happened regardless. They said they could order them and it would take 5 days to get them there. I decided to get another tire I had been considering and they said they had 6 in stock. Perfect. Left my vehicle there and got a call about 1.5 hours later, and they actually didnt have them in stock, as someone forgot to take them out of inventory. They were able to have them the next day and the install went well, except for the tire pressure light being on (wasnt before and I am very fastidious with maintenance). They had to install 2 new TPMS sensors which isnt unheard of, I understand they can break. I figured it would self learn the new sensors and itd be good to go. Took it back a few days later when I had time, as the light was still on. They said one tire was low and that it should self soothe. Drove it around for 30 minutes and still was on. Took it back, and the tech basically told me hes done all he can do.. He was bit condescending and acted like I was idiot and preferred to interrupt me instead of hearing me out as I had a few ideas. They installed universal sensors, which most of time will work, but this seems to be one of the cases where they dont. They only stock 2 sensor types and cannot order from another supplier. The assistant TLE manager told me to go buy my own sensors and theyll put them in, but I had little faith in that, and could quickly see that getting nasty if that didnt work and them playing the blame game. I decided to take it to a good friend that used to run an impressive shop and he called Walmart and told a specific tech there what to do. Went there and this tech was a very nice guy and he tried to do what he could, and I test drove it again for another 30 mins to no avail and he was totally stumped. Gave it a rest and went back the next day (which is today). The same assistant TLE manager was there and was still adversarial. I could have demanded more (as I had spent hours there waiting, and about a half a tank of gas driving around to do the relearn procedure, plus I could have blamed them for breaking the old sensors or demanded they pay for fixing it correctly) After going back and forth, he finally refunded me for the two sensors. Now I have pay another shop for new sensors and to remount/balance the tires again. On a positive note, they did do a great job balancing the tires and they also torque the lug nuts to proper spec instead of over-torquing them with an impact gun. If your vehicle has TPMS (anything 07 and newer has it, otherwise check your build sheet or air down a tire and see what happens), I would not recommend using Walmart as they do not have the resources to service this system. If your vehicle does not have it, then Walmart would probably do you just fine.
Always a great place for a oil change or wheel service.
Always understaffed and it is dang near impossible to reach them on the phone. Wait times to get in have been so bad I actually left and scheduled the oil change with an actual mechanic. No longer a customer of Walmart Auto Care anymore.
They never call me after the oil change is done and they say they will. I always end up waiting in the store for awhile or leaving and coming back to: “oh we forgot to call you”. To top it off I got in my car and there was an oil mark on the window, door handle on the inside, and the center council.
Good people,well served n polite.
My family has been trying to get in to get our oil changed all week, we are just going to go else where.
Need to hire more techs! Long wait time cause cant make appt for oil change unless buying tires!
Had a house key made..very helpful
My car has come back in worse condition the couple times gave them a chance. Avoid!
Went and got my battery replaced. No charge for install is nice but it took them an hour to do it even when I was the only car in the garage.
Good oil change
Prompt and about spot on with time estimate!
