Great shop! On a coast to coast tour, I saw a broken spoke as I was coming into La Crosse. Wrench and Roll squeezed in a repair last minute. I usually work on my bikes myself, and I can tell that these guys do good work -- cleaned the cassette, put a little grease on the retaining ring and skewer, talc in the tire. They know what theyre doing.

Nathan and Matthew were unbelievably helpful and supportive in getting me and my wife back on our ebikes and on the area trails after we experienced difficulties with one of our bikes early on. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable about our options and made sure we were satisfied with the workmanship. A great experience for out of town visitors who were unfamiliar with the trails in terms of terrain, difficulty and scenery!!! Highly recommend.

Currently taking the bicycle maintenance classes for women. The atmosphere is very welcoming and encourages you to learn more no matter what your knowledge is at the beginning. Tools and parts are well explained and demonstrated. There is plenty of opportunity to then practice new skills, and become familiar with how these skills apply to your own bike. The class is worthwhile and Matthew is a very good, calm and helpful teacher.For those looking to buy a bike, there is a wide range of options in terms both in terms of types of bike and price range.One of my favorite aspects is getting a membership which does give some discounts as well as allowing you access to tools and the workspace. If you dont have much space and/or money for tools at home, this is a great resource.

Matthew built an awesome upscale commuter bike for me this week. When I came to the store to purchase it, he went over all of the features and accessories in great detail including short lessons on maintenance. He gave me discounts on some of the additions I ordered. I recommend visiting his store and talking to him about your biking needs so he can give you suggestions on products or even places to ride.

I always have questions, and Mathew always has answers! The Wrench & Roll is a blessing to our Little City, and to the folks that might not have $500.00 laying around for a brand new bicycle! There are new bikes, as well as used, on the sale floor. The Wrench & Roll also has fixture items, lights, other safety accessories on sale for reasonable pricing. Ive purchased 2 wonderful used bikes from Mathews shop, and several accessories for mine, and my kids bikes. This is a true neighborhood bicycle shop ... Matthew Is like a host welcoming you to his 2nd home. The selection of bicycles and accessories is great and Matthew is an excellent mechanic. There are great used bicycles that can be fixed up and compete with new cycles. Best of all Matthew is a committed advocate for cycling and community related events. Stop in ... you will feel comfortable that even though you may know little about bicycles, you will leave educated.

I discovered Wrench and Roll through the Wrench Wednesdays bike maintenance class. Matthew is an excellent instructor and taught me everything I had been wanting to know about how my bike works and how to keep it working in top condition. I have definitely found a bike shop where I know I can ask questions and not feel intimidated. Definitely check it out!

Unfortunately had my bike fixed here in summer of 2018 and I am very low on money trying to get by and they gave me back a bike that did not even work. I tried to call them 2 times and my calls were never returned and I basically got $70 stole from me. If you are a college student I do NOT recommend this place. I NEVER talked to them as stated below as I am extremely busy my boyfriend did all the calling and never had a call in return nor did he ever talk to them. I would appreciate honestly, I am more than happy to change this review if things are fixed. Please

What a great bike shop with a close homespun atmosphere! Matthew is an excellent mechanic as well as having a vision for bicycle transportation. It is also a great way to pick up a used bike inexpensively.

My wife wanted a classic touring bike. Matthew had just what she wanted. He made sure it fit properly, explained features thoroughly and made sure it was what she expected. Great service!

This is a great neighborhood bike shop specializing in repairs and new/used bike sales. The owner spent years working with Logan middle schoolers on a bike shop within the school and has now opened this Caledonia Street location. Great to see such dedication to the Northside!
