We absolutely loved Alpine Inn! We are on a mother and daughter road trip and we are planning to go back one more time before we leave. The cheese curds were some of the best we have ever had and the pizza and bacon cheeseburgers were both amazing! Customer service was fantastic! Also the view outside is phenomenal. We ate in the enclosed patio and it was so comfortable!

Came for wing Wednesday and they have an amazing deal. Not only that but the wings they have were excellent, meaty and crisp. Definitely worth the visit for the food and atmosphere!!

Love the vibe but the food is just ok. Nachos were good but the mini corn dogs were overcooked and inedible. Will stick to coming here for drinks and the patio.

Such a cute gem in La crosse! You have to go after you check out granddad bluff! They have a really neat patio out back with cheap drinks! I wonder if Uber comes there because you could totally get drunk for a small price!!

We happened upon the Alpine In after a trip to Granddad Bluff. The sign stating a prime rib sandwich was on special brought us in, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich and fries were both very good, we would return.

Great local hangout. We took a trip up to Grand Dad Bluff and stopped here on our way back down. Friendly staff. Locals made us feel welcome. Id recommend stopping for a beer/drink and a shot.

Iconic La Crosse tavern owned by the son of Jim Pickett who was friend of Vince Lombardi while Jim Sr was lax tribune sports ed for 40 yrs.

Great atmosphere, drinks and food. Some beach volleyball to play or just spectate. Outdoor seating is great option to enjoy food and drink while social distancing too. Cant wait to go back

Seriously just had the best batter fried fish Ive ever had! Alpine Inn! Homemade Pabst beer batter. Homemade potato salad! The damn tartar sauce is homemade! The owner is a hell of a cook! Incredible!

Great experience and a must stop on the way to the top of the bluff. Great staff, terrific food, and an outstanding atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Bikini clad volleyball players, j/k we are in a pandemic. Friendly staff, vege wrap was better than I was expecting. Fries were hot and tasty. Spotted Cow because Im not from WI. Oh, FYI, $15 minimum on a credit card.

They used to have great food. The staff didnt seem to give a rats behind about customers OR the food they were putting out. We wont make that mistake again. To bad, too.

Was recommended here to try their pizza. It was ok, to give it the credit due. I can only be certain the cheese and toppings were fresh. Must order all food and drinks at the bar. That was clearly their rule as it was posted at every table. What happens when the bar is full? Do you just squeeze in between the other patrons to place your order? Or is the bar never full so this isnt an issue? The place was filthy. Even the napkin dispensers were gross. We received no plates or silverware with our pizza. Drinks were over poured. Some might not have an issue with this, but personally I want my drink to taste good and not just taste like alcohol. If this place invested at least a good $20,000 for minor improvements, it would be a nice little place to go to. Also they do not accept credit/debit cards in 2019, but they do have an ATM with a fee.

Nice place to stay in Abingdon, Virginia. I went biking on the Virginia Creeper Trail and had a great time until I got a flat tire.

We play volleyball here. Its amazing how big this place is. Great service!

The staff was not prepared for all the track parents that came into town this past weekend. We stopped for sandwiches which were great. The fries were hot but tasted like old oil. The napkin holder was filthy along with the tops of the condiment containers. They were so full of old food it was black when you wiped it with the napkin. The bottles on the back bar were also filthy. I would think that if you are going to display your liquor the bottles should be clean. The pepper infused liquor looked interesting until I noticed the 1/2 inch layer of brown sludge at the bottom. I felt bad as there was only one bartender and one cook. Place would be great if the staff spent some off time cleaning.

This is a gem of a place! Very causal, homebody local crowd.Its that kind of place you go to just Be:)The owner is a charming local gentleman. You can see this bar & grill is a custome made place. Nothing fancy, but pretty dam original! And I totally dig it! Breakfast food was deliciouse. Made from scratch, need I say more!Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite causal comfortable place to enjoy a drink!
