A true hardware store, right downtown, and the staff is super helpful. I needed to replace two specific-sized screws that I lost in our move. I took in the one I had, he took it into the back and got exactly what I needed. Beware: this place has a little of everything, and you may find you see and buy something you didn’t even know you needed!

Great hardware store in the heart of downtown. They seemingly have everything you need with fantastic service. Every town should have a place like this!

Passing through town took a detour downtown mid morning expecting to see a vibrant busy place. Lo and behold the only place open was Kroner Hardware. Thank goodness for dedication and upholding the tradition of a true hardware store. I stepped in just to look around and ended up leaving with a bag full. Great service, obviously great hours. Store had everything! Could spend hours just browsing.

This is an atmospheric store that seems to have a little of everything, a throwback to the old genuine general store minus the food. The service is superb, and its a delight just to wander the aisles and see the vast array of items. Ive found items here that I cant find anywhere else except online; I love this place.

Hands down the best hardware store I have ever been to, and maybe the best store in town. Service is great, if they dont have what you need, they know where you can get it. Staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly.

This is an old store, and it is worth visiting just to see it. It is a La Crosse icon. Ask for a bolt, etc. and the person will go in back and get it for you. They have some really nice products that you do not normally see at hardware stores. The service is hard to beat.
