Someone recommended me to come here and I cannot express how satisfied I am. The owner of this place is super nice and professional. I was recommended to come to this shop and I can honestly say the work they did on my car was excellent. I drove 8 hours to get my car fixed here and it was definitely worth the drive. Best car shop i tried in San Diego. They do all kind of services from oil change to body works. They are very honest and only tell you want need to be changed in the car unlike other car shops who try to sell you stuff that your car probably doesn’t need. They use high quality oil and parts and charge really good price. I highly recommend this car shop.

Friendly service and fast with a nice restroom, beverages and waiting facilities. Was able to come in on a Friday at 2pm and be out in less than 30 minutes for a regular oil change. Cost was $35.

Called on a Friday afternoon for an oil change, they moved me to the front of the line as a returning customer. Great service. I waited about 45 minutes, they do have a waiting room, but I walked 1 block to sit under a tree on the grass at Helix high school.

Excellent and consistent delivery of service. Very knowledgeable staff and the a la carte coffee and cold water is always appreciated.

Less than 30 minutes and my car was done. Went in for an synthetic oil change and tire rotation, mechanic pulled me out of the waiting room to let me know of any underlining problems and made me feel comfortable knowing these guys are professional. Back home, checked my dipstick and pleased to see clean oil again. Highly recommend

It was refreshing to deal with honest mechanics that dont try and convince you that your vehicle has urgent issues that must be repaired immediately. I think I finally found the mechanic I can trust. One of the few places that give custom alignments. Brought my car here twice, which has modified suspension, and each time the techs are very generous!

So rare to find honest gentlemen. When dropping off my car one young man insisted on helping me transfer packages from my car to my waiting ride. Same young man did not want me to drive as my brakes were so bad. Savon called multiple places to find the right part for my car. When my costs started rising close to the 1k mark he discounted everything he could to help the bill be more manageable. Both men are handsome, handy and so incredibly kind. Line up ladies! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for business!

Friendly,quick and accommodating, I went in to get my rear view mirror fixed, he didnt know how to do it but he called the man who did, the man arrived in 30mins and I waited maybe 30-40mins for the mirror to be fixed, it was beautiful, better than I had expected it to be and it was a great price. Its Friday the 3rd of July and I just ran over a huge bolt with a washer included. Ive never been here so I took a chance. First the Gentleman were very polite and told me they would take care of meI also asked if they would rotate the tire with the patch to the back no problem he told me then I decided what the heck and asked if they could rotate all four no problem he told me. No gimmicks no upsaleing nothing just we will take care of you. After he was finished he chargede $40Probably the best $40 dollars I have ever spent. Very polite people and they just wanted to do their job. Man I will be back and I always remember people that take care of me...

They show you the root cause, tell you what they will do to fix it at a very affordable price. They are nice enough to sometimes give a discount if you ask. These guys are honest and get the job done. My Titan has been serviced four times now by them recently. With 190K it still runs great. They even took my pressure washer which needed real attention and helped that run good. What I like is that they focus on the most important issue at hand, fix it, show a very reasonable bill and done! There is no huge list they hand you like most mechanics produce talking thousands of dollars There good. Go to them.

Great experience! They were welcoming while I waited in the lobby with my dog. The mechanics fixed my torn splash guard for free, using their own pins to repin it, while they did the other work. I felt they were very honest folk here.

I just took my 2016 Honda in for a check up on a noise I got all of a sudden. They were sooo nice, polite, friendly, and professional. They are family-owned here in La Mesa.They were very thorough and took my car with me for a long test drive, but the car didnt do it again. You know how that goes. Duh!!!But if I need a mechanic again, I will not hesitate to visit Helix Auto Center. Its very clean and has a great room if you have children. I think the main person is Steffon, and I was also helped by Ray and George. Just a great experience. And they can repair some dings I got in my bumper for a great price as well. Give them a try. Im sure you will be pleased. :-)

Experienced an oil leak after getting my oil changed by helix, made a mess of garage floor. Brought my car back on Saturday and they said there was no problem and no leak. Shortly thereafter my engine light went on the dashboard, oil continued leaking. Brought to Ford dealership who said the wrong oil filter size was installed.note ... the owner responded to my review he looks like lost his system record for his customers . no why im conferencing with another auto shop and i will boost your invoice

I went to HI to get new rotors and a new brake calipers put on .A week later I was driving down the freeway and my vehicle started making weird grinding noise. As I braked taking an exit, the new caliper they had just put on fell off . And I cost me to towed my car to the dealership close to freeway 805 north . Because I could no longer moved my car at all . Kind of a scary experience and we not recommend to any one . Pohhhhhhh
