Good deals mixed in with the not so good. All cheap. It can be fun to browse if you allow yourself to enjoy the little things. Im sometimes surprised to see a quarter of the cars in parking lot are somewhat upscale, but I guess everyone loves to get a good deal.

Extremely long lines with only 2 checkouts open. Multiple calls for backup cashier, but nobody responded. Hate the way everything is no longer 99 cents. Their name should be changed from 99 Cents Only.

Friendly staff who got me a sanitized cart when I realized I needed one. Nice, clean & well sorted store. Manager helpful with my concerns.

They have lots of items, however, they often have different cycles of items that are available at the store. Be aware of which items they have depending on season, month, holidays, etc.

It is what it is...a place to find inexpensive (cheap) everyday items. I somewhat like that they started offering more than just 99cent items.Those $1.99, $2.99 & $3.99 items are usually a very good bargain a d saves you the time a d gas to go elsewhere.This particular store seems to struggle to keep it clean like the store in Whittier on Whittier Blvd.I dont totally blame the store personnel but the brats who play in the store going unsupervised. Their parents are oblivious and could care less the mess the kids doing while leaving a mess in their wake!

The store has some good deals here and dear. And to be real there is really only on cashier that dose her job great. She always greets every guess as they enter and leaves the store. Her customer survives skill is outstanding. And she seems to know a lot about almost every product in the store. And if she cant help she always fines someone who can. And her mood never seem to change unlike the rest of the staff. If shes happy it shows and that brighten up every customer that gose in her line. I think here name is Joanna.

Love the fact that they have fresh groceries and dairy. You will find prices here for some brand stuff very much lower than other stores. Its obviously not Walmart so you wont necessarily find everything here.

Its a great store with pretty surprising items that are mostly as you would expect from the name: 99 cents. I would give it five stars, but the atmosphere is ok, security could be better. There are people constantly begging for money, and they even go into the store trying to get free handouts. Also, a lot of the merchandise sold is MORE than 99 cents, which is stupid. Thats the way most people who regularly shop here feel.

So even though its called the .99 cent store, its more like .99 and up. But out of all the.99 cent stores, this is probably one of the better ones. The store is not so messy and the quality of the fruits & vegetables is about as good as any grocery store. My only complaints are that the store is a bit on the small side and the lines can get a bit long at times.

This 99 cents only store is well organized & stocked w/all kinds of great products that you would be paying much more for @ any other convenience store. The store is very upkept and clean, the staff is friendly. I like this store all around its the only place I can get a big bag of pistachios or Gatorade or even a nice ice cold bottle of mexican coke all for a dollar or less. Oh ya, and the parking lot is very big, so its always easy to find parking.

It was messy,not a good visit

Hadnt been to a 99 cent store in awhile. So, I was surprised to see that a lot of their merchandise is now priced over 99 cents only. I remember when EVERYTHING was 99 cents. So... yeah, it kinda ruined it for me. Employees were nice. Store was just a bit unorganized. They had the usual expected merchandise in stock, in addition to cooler things.. but these things will cost you more.

Very dirty outside homeless around the building sleeping and asking for money not wearing a mask need better cleaning

When I first met this cashier. . named Joanna. I was a bit on a bad mood. But just seen the smile on her face and her asking me how my day has been made me feel a lot better.. I see her asking the older customers if their bags are too heavy. And if they need help out. She is really good with her customers she goes out of her way to help so even if there is a lil wait in her line I will always go to her line when shes working. Because a smile on her face brightens up my day. =thanks Joanna for youre great customer service! !.

99ct stores are always in stock☆

Some good stuff. I havent been to a 99 cent store in a while, so I was surprised about all of the items that were over 99cents. That takes away from the true 99 cent store experience Ive always remembered, so thats a bummer...

This store is really organized

Store was organized and shelves looked well stocked. Most items are still $0.99. There are some items that will cost you more than .99cents.

The girls who work there are very nice. In fact all the employees are Pleasant. Which makes it a nice experience when shopping there.

If you live close to a 99 Cent Store they do have some good deals. I try to stay with name brands and WATCH the expiration date. I wouldnt go out of my way or you spend more on gas than youd save.

From a 4 star to a 2 star. Oct 30, 2018 I visited 99COS in La Miranda. As I approached there was a Drunk man sitting next to the front door drinking a beer (same type sold @99COS). He was cursing @ men, women & children entering &leaving. Later I learned he had been there for at least 15mins. I approached the front door & he cursed @me. I told him he should leave. He stood up & jabbed @me w/a cane w/a sharp pointed metal tip & said hed Kill me. I called 911 & backed away as he continued to approach me. A person that works there drove up & gave him money then drove off. The drunk turned back to me & again said hed Kill me. Deputies arrived & placed him in custody. This drunk & 2 other drunks hangout here all the time. 99COS employees shouldnt have allowed him to sit in front or anywhere near the store. They should have called Police at least 15mins earlier. Their employee shouldnt have given him money. Both 99COS & property management should have taken care of these drunks hanging out there a long time ago. I visited 5 other businesses in this shopping center & have had 3 other problems w/drunks but nothing this serious. I took care of the 3, but this was something police needed to know. 4 stars is a very high rating for me & overall I would give 99COS a 4.5. Hopefully 99COS management will take notice of this & advise the La Miranda store @ Telegraph & Leffingwell.

Rude. They always argue infront of customers about who needs to be working at the registers. They change store hours as they please... closing early opening late

Hadnt been to this store in over a year, was very pleased to see they hired a lot of people who can help you find stuff quicker. Lots of stock and clean organized aisles.

It is easy to get to but can be very busy. The workers are very nice and helpful.

The store is always clean and shelves are well stocked. Usually they only have one check stand open and theres quite a few people in line so if youre in a rush its not a good idea.

CHEATERS! Beware this store will cheat you, e.g. they mark Crunch bars on the shelf 2 for .50 cents, BUT when you get to the register notice they charge you .5999 cents (60 cents). When I complained to the woman in charge, she turns her mame tag backwards so I cant read it, says No, no they are 59 cents and refused to ajust the price. Rip Offs!
